What if Raditz had raised Gohan evil and then Gohan and Raditz (along with Vegeta and Nappa) came back to destroy the Earth? You think Goku would kill his own son? Goten would still be born but there would be no Trunks as Vegeta never met Bulma because he never settled on Earth. Also Piccolo would still be Goku's main enemy due to the fact that he never trained Gohan and Goku never fought Vegeta before.
