Prince Vegeta, is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and arch-rival to Goku. He is the husband of Bulma, the father of Trunks and Bulla, the brother of Tarble, Grandfather of Bardock Jr. and Sunset and the great-great grandfather of Vegeta Jr. Aside from Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo, he is easily one of the most prominent characters in the series, receiving more character development after being introduced than a number of other characters.

Appearance[]

In the Z/Super Saga - Vegeta wears the same armour that his Xeno counterpart wore, however, after joining the Time Patrol - Chronoa added the Time Patrol logo to his armour.

Up until "The Return of the Warriors"; Vegeta continued to wear the armour however he switched an identical armour set with the Time Patrol logo being replaced by kanji for "Hakai" almost squished together.

During the 2nd Timespace Tournament; he wears an outfit just like Vegeks' outfit.

During the Universal Field Trip Saga; he continues to wear the outfit that he wore in the 2nd Timespace Tournament.

pre-revamp[]

After the death of Cell-X; Vegeta became training the same outfit he wore during the End of Dragon Ball Z, but after Cloned Vegenks is destroyed he wears armour similar to one he wore on Namek except with a light blue jumpsuit. This outfit was also destroyed after his returned from completing the Sorcerer God Ritual.

During Dragon Ball Advanced; he first appeared in his standard armour worn during the Tournament of Power, Cell Games, and Zero Mortals Plan. However, after Towa placed the Black-Mask on him - he began wearing the timebreaker's armour, and opts to use it more than his previous outfit.

Biography[]

Originally in pre-revamp story version; Vegeta did not assist Goku and the Time Patrol as believed they Future Trunks had everything under control, however after Naraku - he decided to assist against the Timebreakers believing them to a threat to everything that's been accomplished.

Dragon Ball Advanced[]

Z/Super Saga[]

Vegeta first appeared in Dragon Ball Advanced - as the Black-Masked Saiyan under Towa's control and was sent to the Age 761 to watch over the Time Distortion with Raditz. Vegeta resets time twice during the event confusing Dial.

Vegeta appeared for the second time during the battle with his past self and Nappa still under Towa's Control and froze time so he could transform into Gohan and Nappa in their Great Ape forms. Thanks to the fight between him and Future Trunks - Vegeta was able to regain control of himself and shattered the mask. He was soon taken to the Time Nest.

After Golden-Masked Gohan attacked the era that Goku fought Nappa - Vegeta arrived using the Time Freeze attack ability to help Dial and Goku before taking Gohan away to battle the warrior himself and stated that he was fully aware that the warrior was Gohan. Vegeta was eventually forced to concede and leave the battle especially after the defeat of his past self.

Vegeta begrudgingly agreed to train Dial personally to help him improve after Chronoa disapproved of Vegeta's criticism against Dial's fight with the Saiyan Saga self. Vegeta agreed to train Dial even harder to stop Chronoa and Future Trunks from complaining.

Great Ape

This is Vegeta's least used transformation. He was seen within this form twice in the series. The first time Vegeta transformed into this huge ape-like monster, he used a Power Ball resembling similar effects of the moon. The second time when he transformed, was in GT when Bulma used the Blutz Wave Generator that she created for him, because he was missing his tail. His size is paramount.

Super Saiyan

This is Vegeta's Super Saiyan form. Though it was only a Saiyan Legend, Vegeta was fascinated with this transformation and obsessed over obtaining it so that he could avenge his race by having the power to defeat Frieza. Goku achieved the state prior to Vegeta however as did Future Trunks. In this form, his power greatly increases from his regular level. His hair turns blond, the irises of his eyes become green, and he acquires a golden aura just as Goku had done before him. He gains a slight muscle increase as well. Vegeta hardly uses this in Dragon Ball AF anymore following attaining Super Saiyan 7, after attaing it he drops Super Saiyan 4, 3 and this form.

Ascended Super Saiyan

This form wields much greater power than his Super Saiyan level. At this level, Vegeta personally calls himself "Super Vegeta." He has the same basic golden features of his Super Saiyan level, only now his muscles are much larger. His hair also is bigger and slightly sharper, and he looks and acts more dominant. Due to Vegeta's muscle mass increase, he is much stronger than in his Super Saiyan form, and his speed and agility are unencumbered, unlike the 3rd Stage Ascended Saiyan, where significantly decreases speed (but greatly increases in strength) as Vegeta knew that strength isn't everything. Vegeta dropped this form after Super Saiyan 2 arrived.

Super Saiyan 2

This is Vegeta's strongest form in Dragon Ball Z. This form turns as strong as Majin Vegeta when he returns to Earth by King Yemma. It is sometimes debated when he first achieved this form. In the manga, there are quite a few hints he achieved it before he became Majin Vegeta, with practically none to the contrary, as Vegeta only states Goku to be stronger than Gohan once he, too transforms into Super Saiyan 2, holding complete confidence in his superiority over Gohan prior to becoming Majin Vegeta, and transforms into this state on his own free will from the normal Super Saiyan, long after he became Majin Vegeta. Vegeta still users this but only against weaker foes or foes as strong as him.

Super Saiyan God

Vegeta is capable of becoming Super Saiyan God, and can switch from Super Saiyan Blue back to Super Saiyan God in combat as an effective combat strategy.

Saiyan Beyond God

Thanks to absorbing the power of Super Saiyan God, and training with Whis; Vegeta is able to use the power of Super Saiyan God in his base form, and is equal to Goku.

Super Saiyan Blue

Like Goku; Vegeta was able to achieve Super Saiyan Blue thanks to his training with Whis, and can frequently use it.

Perfected Super Saiyan Blue

Vegeta's ability to use this form is the result of mastering ki control and sealing the aura with himself. While in this state; his speed and reflexes increase immensely including his power.

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Evolution

Super Saiyan God SS Evolution is a form that Vegeta obtain at some point (during the Tournament in the anime) and used this against Jiren while helping Dial fight against him. During the Tournament in the Manga; Vegeta obtained an evolved version of Perfected Super Saiyan Blue.

Ultra Ego

During the events of the Granolah the Survivor Saga, accepting that Ultra Instincts wasn't suited for him. Vegeta was offered a different skill to learn from Beerus. As he mastered the Hakai technique, he also obtained this form.

In it, Vegeta's muscle mass has become noticeably larger and more defined. His hair becomes purple and becomes more jagged. His eyes gain visible pupils and purple irises. His brow ridges become hairless and very pronounced. His aura become more like a raging fire.

Black-Masked Saiyan

Towa was able to place a Timebreaker Mask on Vegeta and gave him a new set of Armour along with it. In this state - Vegeta has access to all of Towa's time manipulation powers and is even more powerful than Perfected Super Saiyan Blue.

In this state - each of his standard techniques become a darker version and he gains a black and dark purple aura.

Super Saiyan God 2

Through intense rage at Golden-Masked Gohan killing Bulma during the period of the Battle on Namek along with his increasing frustration at Gohan still being controlled - Vegeta was able to change a level of Super Saiyan God that even surpassed Perfected Super Saiyan Blue.

Vegeta's hair becomes Vermilion red instead of Crimson red along with his aura becoming purple and gains crimson electricity arcs around his body. Additionally, his muscle mass increase slightly and has a slender yet muscular appearance. His hair becomes bigger and slightly sharper resembling his Super Saiyan 2nd Grade form. During his first us of the form - Vegeta was much more violent than he normally he is and seemed to no longer care that Gohan was being controlled by Towa.

However, after he trained harshly after obtaining the form - Vegeta was able to gain control over his emotions and fight as he usually does.

Royal Super Saiyan Blue

During his battle against Dark Magic Jiren - Vegeta was able to break through his limits and evolve Super Saiyan Blue even further into his own unique form that is considered by Whis to be the representation of his heart called Royal Super Saiyan Blue.

In this form - Vegeta's muscle mass increases similar to Super Saiyan God SS Evolution in the anime and his hair becomes Royal blue rather than just a darker shade of blue.

Super Saiyan White

The result of combining the power of Super Saiyan God 2 with the first Super Saiyan form. His power is significantly greater to the Super Saiyan Blue, and upon entering the form - he seals his aura within his body.

In this state; his muscle mass slightly increases while his hair become white while his eyes are blue. Prior to sealing his aura; it is white. However, initially it was difficult to control due to using the peak level of the Super Saiyan White form. However, Vegeta was able to address this issue by training in order to improve his control over the form.

As of the Super Bardock Saga; Vegeta can maintained Super Saiyan White for a significantly long period and despite the strain it can cause due to using Super Saiyan White at its maximum power continuously. However, further training with Whis: Heroes was able to allow Vegeta to overcome the strain and uses it without risk of recoil damage to himself.

Super Saiyan Time Power Unleashed

The result of combining the power of Chronoa's Time Powers and Vegeta's Super Saiyan 2nd, Super Saiyan 3rd Grade, Super Saiyan 2, and Great Power into his Super Saiyan form increasing his power exponentially.

In this state; his retain his muscle mass from his Super Saiyan 2 form while gaining Super Saiyan 2-like aura with bio-electricity including as his hair is spikier than his Super Saiyan form. His irises becomes yellow while gaining black pupils and a yellow glow around his body. His outfit transforms into a white form-fitting jumpsuit, white boots with yellow tips, white gloves, and a white and yellow armoured with the Time Patrol logo on the left side of his armour.

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Berserk)

The result of the Evil Aura influencing Vegeta while in his Perfected Super Saiyan Blue.

In this state;

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk)

After gaining control of the Evil Aura - Vegeta was able to assume a new unique form as a result in which his auras switch places.

His eyes gain dark lines and his body radiates both dark lightning as well as the blue lightning. Additionally, his skin takes on a yellowish hue and his eyes gain visible black pupils with blue irises like that form.

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk) 2

A higher level of Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk) 2.

In this state - the user's hair much like in Super Saiyan 2 - becomes more spiky and rigid while the aura becomes more flame-like as they are accompanied with red lightning in the addition to the dark and blue lightning. The user's muscle mass barely increases, but the energy output is even higher than the previous form. The eyes of the users retains its shape.

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk) 3

A level beyond Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk) 3.

In this state - Vegeta's hair grow out just like Super Saiyan 3 while gaining a more radiant aura as well as losing his eyes while retaining some his Controlled Berserk features such as duble aura, dark and blue lightning as well as line under his eyes.

Sorcerer Saiyan

Through the training of the Mystical Arts under Fortuneteller Baba and using the combined Grimoire of Universe 6's and 7's respective grimoire; Vegeta was able to evolve the power of his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk) 3 state further into far greater level.

In this state - his hair resemble the hairstyle of the EX-Fusion Yamta with his hair remaining the same colour as his base form while his eyes becomes pure teal while he retains his standard facial expressions and appearances. He gains an aura which trails around Vegeta like smoke which is soft cyan & very soft blue. Additionally medium purple ghost-like orbs circles around him.

Super Saiyan White 2

At some point prior to the Age 993 Saga; Vegeta and Goku were able to reach Super Saiyan White 2.

Super Sorcerer Saiyan

Main article: Super Sorcerer Saiyan

As a result of transforming into Super Saiyan while in the Sorcerer Saiyan state - Vegeta takes on an unique form of Super Saiyan called Super Sorcerer Saiyan.

In this form - his hair becomes forest green instead of pale lime like the Pre-Revamp form or yellow like the standard Super Saiyan form while the eyes become Jungle green. The aura becomes forest green and crayola green while third light golden aura trails around the user like smoke.

The aura flows around the user much like the Super Saiyan aura originally did when it first appeared in the manga.

Magic Mega Instinct

As a result of transforming into the Power of Destruction state while in the Sorcerer Saiyan state - Vegeta takes on an unique form of the Destroyer form called Destroyer Sorcerer.

In this form - Vegeta's aura becomes royal purple while he gains a black pupil and his eyes become Royal yellow. He gains larger, more defined muscles, his hair becomes spikier and his brow ridges become hairless and very pronounced.

Royal Super Saiyan Blue Time Power Unleashed

Super Sorcerer Saiyan 2
