The Trio Of Danger Saga is the first saga in the Dragon Ball: Legacy series. The manga volumes that it is made up of are the first/out of third part of Saga. It involves Olibu, Anato and Yakon, people to help bring back Garlic Jr. and mainly shows their attempts to get all the Seven Dragon Balls and Namekian Dragons balls to summon Garlic Jr. , and the Z Fighters attempts to stop him.

A New Threat Arrives[]
Few months after the Majin Buu Incident. Piccolo has flown to northern forest and quickly spots the, an indigo-skinned, scaly, fish-faced alien, with white boots, and common Battle Armor, exploding the surrounding ice and glaciers with ease. Olibu introduces himself to him. Piccolo tells Olibu, to leave since he getting close to destroying, hermits and villages nearby, Olibu seemingly complies by dropping the Piccolo. Olibu, however, shooting another Energy Blast, directly setting an village to fire, shocking Piccolo. Olibu then looks at Piccolo and tells him that he is next, calling him Namekian scum. Olibu then powers up, surprising Piccolo again, and tells Piccolo that someone will destroy him in the events coming.
In Massive Cold Northern Forest, Piccolo again asks Olibu who he is, demanding to be told his plan on Earth. Olibu asks why Piccolo would need to know that when died. Piccolo says that he will kill Olibu without knowing, but Olibu scoffs at this. Piccolo takes off his weighted clothing and moved to fight Olibu. Olibu asks Piccolo why he would insist on fighting when it was evident that he would not be able to win, wondering if it was to stall for time or simply stupidity. Regardless, Olibu accepts the challenge. Piccolo asks if Olibu is the only one going to fight him wondering if he has back-up, to which Olibu denies, stating that he was more than enough. Piccolo charges in and elbows Olibu in the back of the head, and follows it with a kick to the face, sending Olibu skidding across the ground. As Piccolo stands over Olibu, noting that he is impressed at the Namekian's performance, as Piccolo fires an Explosive Demon Wave at Olibu, who manages to dodge in time, and is floating in the air, looking down at Piccolo, who is planning another attack.

Back on the island, Piccolo fires several energy blasts at Olibu, who notices that they were not aimed for him, but were all surrounding him, trapping him. Piccolo then sends every energy sphere towards Olibu causing a massive explosion that was seen and felt by those back at Kame House. Initially assured of his victory, Piccolo was then dismayed to see that Olibu survive by using a Barrier to block the oncoming attacks.
Olibu now orders Piccolo to tell of Earth's Dragon Balls's location but Piccolo still refuses to tell him. Olibu decides to continue the fight until he changes his mind and lands right next to Piccolo. As Olibu and Piccolo stare at each other, not flinching or slightly moving, Olibu manages to land a strike on Piccolo's face, which was far too fast for Piccolo to even attempt to dodge. Piccolo quickly recovers and tries to strike the Mekinian in the face also. However, Olibu ducks and lands a devastating stomach punch, which causes Piccolo to fall slowly in pain, and then elbows Piccolo in the back to knock him into the ground. Now recovering once again, Piccolo dodges a quick kick from Olibu, backflipping away from Olibu. Piccolo cracks his neck and compliments Olibu on his amazing speed but notes his punches lack in force. Olibu replies that Piccolo is far too confident for his own benefit and makes a running dash towards him.
Piccolo charges up the Energy Sphere in his palms and fires it at Olibu who does not move a muscle. Dende, sensing nearby, thinks Olibu is destroyed however, Piccolo immediately states he's still alive and didn't that any damage. Olibu slowly rises from the ocean while Tien Shinhan, who had just recently arrived, looks in awe over Olibu's strength from a good distance away. Piccolo is punched in the face by Olibu. As Olibu picks Piccolo off the ground, Tien notices that Piccolo's arms are broken. Olibu, wondering to himself if he got carried away, quickly pointing an hand towards Tien, blasting through Tien's stomach with a large beam and tosses him into the ocean. Piccolo, shocked, flies right at were Tien crashed at but, Olibu blocks his path and tells him continue the fight, or he'll explode Tien further.
Piccolo and Olibu strike each other in the sky, with Piccolo firing dozens of explosive blasts in a row, putting Olibu in a tight spot, as he cannot escape. Olibu manages to finally halt Piccolo's assault by using another Ki Barrier, protecting himself from the blasts, and destroying quite a lot of the forest and villages nearby. Piccolo, knowing he's approaching his limit, utilizes another Explosive Demon Wave to temporary blind Olibu, to escape back down to the back to Z-fighters but, Olibu shoots a massive Full Power Energy Wave tracking Piccolo and exploding him mid-air, then the indigo skinned figure used his yellow scouter to see Piccolo's power level decreased meaning he's either dead or unconscious.
At Capsule Corp Training Room, Goku and Vegeta feel a large increase in Cell's ki and massive decrease in Piccolo's ki, Including Tien's, and Goku realizes that Olibu has absorbed most of Piccolo and Tien's life force and put them in death or the brink of it. Olibu is shown, grinning, feeling the addition of Namekian Ki and Human Ki.
The Plan Begins[]
Olibu, immediately shot Ki blasts at the earth, before grabbing the hidden dragon ball within. Meanwhile, Trunks and Vegeta emerge from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.Trunks apologizes from keeping the rest of the Z Fighters waiting. Yamcha remarks that the pair of Saiyans took a long time. Trunks states that Vegeta surpassed the Super Saiyan 2 form within one month, but, unsatisfied with his power, he continued training and became more proficient. Vegeta cuts off Trunks and tells him not to say anymore. Goku asks Vegeta if the training worked, to which Vegeta replies that it would be pointless for Goku to train in the room, as he will kill Olibu with ease. Piccolo and Tien Shinhan appear surprised by this boast. Goku says that he saw Olibu after his absorption of Piccolo and Tien's Ki and life force, and states that he is a true villain. Vegeta merely smirks. Goku wonders if Vegeta needs his help, which Vegeta merely continues to smirk, he then rushes off to test his new power against Olibu Before Future Trunks leaves, Goku gives him two Senzu Beans, and Bulma, nervous about their well-being, requests that Future Trunks takes care of himself as well as Vegeta.
Yakon and Anato; Olibu's Help[]
Olibu's partner, Anato, an all, purple humanoid alien. The top of his head displays. Two black conical horns protrude from the top sides of his head lands, lands beside Olibu on the western desert of Earth. Olibu starts to wonder if maybe he was a bit too hasty in grabbing the earth's one-star dragon ball, but Anato reassures him that the Z-fighters dont know what will hit them and should wait until: Yakon comes. Olibu, reassured, deploys the MIO from Anato's attack pod the robot androids built with an custom dragon radar fly around the western desert of Earth for the Two and Three-Star Dragon Ball, Vegeta back at Looout with Trunks, senses the MIO Robot Androids and gets serious grabbing an bag of senzu beans, flying off.
The MIO Robot Android almost locate the Two and Three-Star Dragon Balls, but Trunks rushes in flying, immediately kicking the first Robot Android and then the next in rapid succession before ki blasting it with one hit sending debris everywhere. Olibu watches from afar, gritting his teeth raising his body to go attack him but Anato tells him that'll he'll kill the kid (Trunks) easily, Olibu concedes saying he'll go find the Four and Five-Star Dragon Ball, believing Anato will kill the boy (Renso) and get the Two and Three-Star Dragon Ball. Trunks says he better leave of he'll get hurt from his father, Vegeta, Anato jokes that this will not be much of a break for him. Anato then begins powering up, transforming into his Empowered form, rips appear in his battle armor, and his muscles and hair growing larger before Trunks's eyes, Trunks then show's Anato his Super Saiyan: Full Power, the golden blazing aura radiating off him.

Trunks and Anato then begin their fight. Renso attacks with a kick and a punch, both of which Anato blocks. Anato then swings a left punch, but Trunks ducks under it. The two trade a quick flurry of blows before Trunks dodges Anato's right punch by backflipping away, creating distance. Anato then dashes head-first at Trunks for a headbutt, and the hybrid Saiyan-human puts up and crosses his arms, blocking Anato's blow. Trunksthen falls backwards and kicks Anato into the sky before chasing after him. As he flies upwards towards Anato, Trunks unleashes a Galic Gun, but Anato knocks the blow away. Trunks quickly appears behind Anato and punches him in the back. An angered Anato retaliates by punching Trunks in the face, then smashes him downwards. Still grinning in confidence, Anato rubs his cheek and prepares a Lauron Beam, the attack pummeling Trunks merciaslly through the ground.
However, Trunks manages to backflip in recovery and looks at Anato in astonishment. In desperation, Trunks fires a large ki blast at renso, then a barrage of them, which spread across the entire island, but Anato unflinchingly walks through them and emerged from the smoke in front of Trunks, sending him flying with a left punch to the face and to the ground. Anato walks over to Trunks, who struggles to his feet and wincing from the pain, as Renso then kicks him into the air, then flies up behind him, to hit him with an elbow smash to his back, driving him into the ground and knocking him out of the his Super Saiyan: Full Power and unconscious.
Vegeta's Power Weighted State[]
Vegeta lands, enraged that Anato hurt his son, but as an Tall sleek green humanoid figure landed, Yakon, who questions him about being a bit too hasty in showing the people on this planet that are here for the dragon balls, but Olibu cuts him off, reassuring him that the plan to revive Garlic Jr. is still in effect, Anato cuts through the conversation, shouting, that Vegeta right in front of them. Vegeta smirks, saying he will be the one to kill all three of them and easily stop their plan, Yakon tells him he needed an good warm up and Vegeta will be the perfect subject for that warm-up. After Vegeta's boast about being able to send all three of them to the grave alone, Yakon asks Vegeta in disbelief if Vegeta really said he alone would suffice to send the great 'Yakon' to the grave. Vegeta assents, and taunts Yakon, asking him if he is hard of hearing. Yakon laughs and says that he is merely stunned by the absurdity of the statement.
Trunks, looks up, barely awake and thinks to himself in surprise that he is going to transform already. Vegeta begins to charge his ki while Cell smirks. At The Lookout, Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, and Bulma are waiting, and Piccolo says that the battle has started, and Vegeta's power is increasing. Tien says that Vegeta's power is inconceivable, and Piccolo walks to the edge of the lookout to see what lies beyond the Super Saiyan 2 and 3.
At the now forest turned island, Vegeta continues powering up. Piccolo says that his power is still increasing, and Tien and Yamcha just landing nearby, and a nervous Yakon, Olibu and Anaro watch as, with a crack, Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan 2: Power-Weighted. Cell seems surprised, and Vegeta smirks. Suddenly, Vegeta punches Yakon in the stomach with tremendous force, starting the battle. Yakon bends over in pain after a mighty punch from the Super Saiyan 2: Power Weighted State. Vegeta draws his arm back and hits Yakon again, sending him flying. As Yakon hits the ground, Vegeta walks calmly forward. Takon jumps back up and glares at Vegeta. Vegeta asks Yakon if he sees his power, and Yakon smiles and says that Vegeta is not weak after all. Cell then throws a punch at Vegeta, but Vegeta grabs it and throws Yakon to the ground. Cell attempts to get up, but Vegeta lifts his leg and kicks Yakon to send him flying through a mountain, Vegeta proclaims this Transformation is better then Goku's Super Saiyan 3. Yakon smirks, saying that he isn't even trying saying that this is first form.
Yakon's Second Form.
Yakon, laughs at finding someone stronger than him, swings his tail at Vegeta, but Vegeta easily jumps over it and tries to send Yakon flying with a kick, but he missing and Yakon then follows up with a massive kick to Vegeta's stomach, shattering his armor and followed by an elbow smash that drives Vegeta into the ocean. Yakon yells, he needs to use his Transforming Ability to go his Second Form. Yakon is still cursing the fact that he hasn't reached his Second but Vegeta floats down to him, intrigued. Vegeta asks if Yakon meant what he said that if he obtained his 2nd Form, Olibu and Anato step back as Yakon strikes Vegeta in the eyes, temporarily blinding him and kicking him away, before he absorbed some of ki. Yakon prepares to unveil his next transformation, claiming that they will be the first to ever see it. As Olibu, Anato, Trunks and Vegeta watch, Yakon begins to transform into his second form. Spikes grow from his back, his spikes on his shoulders and arm recede, the armor on his shoulders grow, and his tail disappears, plus his head gets longer. Trunks calls Yakon a monster.
Vegeta does not think that Yakon has changed much, but Olibu says to himself that his power is much greater now. Yakon decides to resume the battle, and charges towards Vegeta. Vegeta flies into the air to dodge. Yakon gives chase, and Vegeta dodges again, stating that he still has the advantage in speed. However, Yakon quickly gets in front of him and unleashes a barrage of Kiais. Vegeta is unable to dodge them due to the speed of the blast; Piccolo senses Vegeta's struggle. Yakon connects with an elbow to the Vegeta's Face, then slams him down into the ground. Vegeta manages to fly and avoid a third strike, taking the battle to the air, but Yakon teleports above him, quickly axe handling and slamming back down to ground, Vegeta and Yakon finally begin round two of their struggle as Vegeta starts by attempting to perform a heavy kick which Yakon manages to block with his hands. Vegeta attempts to retaliate with an elbow attack, but Yakon manages to block that too with his right forearm. Yakon then kicks him into the air, then flies up behind him, to hit him with an elbow smash to his back, driving him into the ground and knocking him out of the Super Saiyan 2: Power-Weighted state and unconscious.
