Tresparson (ツレスパルセン, Tsuresuparusen), is a human who comes from West City. He joined the New Red Ribbon Army at the age of 24 after being recruited by Oscalpano for his engineering and creative skills. He was transferred to the Crimson Fingers to monitor the Makyan presence in the region. He worked there for the rest of his life. He is featured as a secondary character in Monkeyboy's First Vacation.

Overview[]

Appearance[]

Tresparson is a light-skinned man of average height. He is somewhat heavy-set. Tres has brown eyes and is bald. He wears glasses and has a thick black mustache. Like all SAARO agents, he wears a black suit at all times when in public, often accompanied by black gloves and dark sunglasses.

Personality[]

Tresparson is highly motivated and skilled at robotics. He created the mechs he and Morucan use during Monkeyboy's First Vacation, assisting Zeshmedinokov and the other New Red Ribbon Army's technological division with his intelligence and expertise. He is quite the evil guy, taking part in the hunting and collecting of tourists and natives from the Crimson Fingers to give to Chervil's tribe. Many times, they used their mechs to abduct the people, showing he was just as depraved as Morucan. It should come as no surprise that the two are best friends. Tres is an arrogant elitist, believing fully in Nhobusa's vision for the New Red Ribbon Army. He is involved in taking over the world on a more macro scale by using his skills to develop technology and devices for his group. He (with minor input from Zesh) designed the intercontinental ballistic missile the NRRA used to shoot Ledas at the sun. Tres is a talker. He loves to use flowery phrases and uncommon words to show his intellect. He bosses Morucan around, as he thinks he's the smarter of the two and, therefore, the leader. One could say he has an inferiority complex given how he acts.

History[]

Monkeyboy's First Vacation[]

In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 10, Age 776, Ryori and Ledas arrived at the southern coast of Umihebiza. After exploring the immediate area, they flew to the center of the island, where Ledas had sensed faint power levels he'd assumed were humans. From a rocky overlook, they watched a procession of men making their way through the grass. Using his phone's camera, Ryori spotted the men in the back were chained together. They were being led by a pair of guys wearing suits.

From the other side, a host of skinchangers appeared, landing in front of the group, spreading out. Ledas noted with a certain level of panic he couldn't sense them. He prepared to confront them, telling Ryori he'd laid invisible ki traps around him so that if anyone came for him, he'd be alerted. Though he wasn't convinced that'd save him, Ryori was eager to see Ledas fight for real.

Ledas flew down, landing between the humans and the skinchangers, startling everyone. The men hauling the prisoners immediately recognized Ledas, freaking out. Ledas asked who the chained people were, but the men in suits wouldn't answer. A prisoner begged for Ledas to save him and his friends. Ledas noted that the other group was comprised of skinchangers. He resolved to deal with them first. One of the suited men thought he had no chance against them.

Ledas confronted the Makyans, challenging them to a battle to the death. Their group, led by Tarrago, took him on without flinching. With a punch, a tail blast to the shoulder, and a front-flip-kick, Ledas took out their leader, turning his attention to the lesser skinchanger. They charged him down. He dodged them with his eyes closed. When Tarrago rose again and fired a blast at him, he countered with a Kyorra Flash. Ledas' attack overwhelmed Tarrago, frying him to death. Enraged, his crew attacked Ledas. They put up little resistance, taking no more than a blow or two apiece before falling.

The suited men panicked, throwing capsules to the ground, revealing Battle Suits that they jumped into. Ledas was bored of them, and more importantly, freezing cold, so he air-dashed through their mechs, killing them before they could land a hit.

Trivia[]

  • Tresparson originally appeared in Three Foolish Monkeys. He was killed by Olivien in that story. After I non-canonized TFM, I repurposed the character for this story. I assume his appearance and limited revealed personality are the same in both stories.
