This article, Tomoma, is the property of TitanXLV.

Tomoma better known by his codename Son Titan is the main protagonist in the manga Dragon Ball AX.

Tomoma's name is a pun on the fruit Tomato unlike other Pure Saiyans whose names are usually based on Vegetables

Appearance[]

Essentially, Tomoma is the spitting-image of his father, Elery, possessing the same spiky black hairstyle, dark-colored eyes, and facial features. However, he has, a kind demeanor, and a lighter-pale skin complexion from his mother, Aspara. Tomoma's most distinguishing physical characteristic is his hair, for the most part his hair resembles Son Gohan's hair from Dragon Ball GT, Tomoma was born with the signature tail of the Universe 7 Saiyans, which was long and prehensile with brown fur.  While it occasionally having it removed and later regrew it, by his late teens, it was permanently removed by his adoptive mom Paris to prevent his Great Ape transformation.

Personality[]

Though Tomoma is similar to Ace, however unlike Ace, he is shown to be more outgoing and talkative rather Ace being the more cold and reserved of the two, notes that his brother Royce passed to Chronoa stated that while Tomoma is outgoing and friendly he does have a problem with asking for help and being a team player.

Although he is apart of the Time Patrol and is proud to be one of the resident Time Patrollers, he formed his own sub-group called the Alpha Squadron (He didn't tell Chronoa why he just told Trunks that he feels Earth and its Allies could use a team of warriors who can help them fight the battles they can't) The team was approved by the Time Patrol High Council and the team was soon to be found.

While he spent most of his early life on Earth and around the Earthling's culture, he has many of the characteristics of the Saiyan's of the past, He is shown to be an aggressive but fast in battle like his brother Royce, a academic genius like Son Gohan, and a fighting prodigy like Son Goku. He is also noted by his adoptive parents Greg and Paris Klein to have been a calm and collective as a child, they even said its an extremely rare sight to see him lose his composure.

Biography[]

Background[]

Tomoma was one of the many beginner Time Patrollers. Each time, the Supreme Kai of Time and Elder Kai pick one to be an official Time Patroller, if he could pass the test that is. But until then, it was small time trip after small time trip.

Tomoma appears to have some history with Cumber or Shallot, as he became enraged when Fu mentions the Ancient Saiyans.

Pre-Time Patrol[]

Tomoma was born in Age 830, 93 years after Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza, his father Elery (Age 79) and mother Aspara (Age 78) (They were off the planet at the time of Planet Vegeta's Destruction on an assignment) decided it was time to continue their Saiyan bloodline, so Elery suggested that they go to Earth to create a child. So they have a child but due to their advanced age they decided to leave Tomoma in the care of two Earthling's Greg and Paris Arden. Tomoma spent many childhood years training under Greg to be a martial artist. Although he was a very skilled martial artist his mother Paris emphasized the importance of intelligence so she gave him the best education she possibly could. Greg and Paris found that his intelligence was beyond human capabilities. He graduated Orange Star High School at age 14 with a 6.1 GPA (one of the highest recorded GPA in Earth's history)

Empire City Arc[]

Long before Tomoma ever joined the Time Patrol or the Pride Troopers, Tomoma had found an interest in Martial Arts at a young age due to his older brother's influence, so Royce asked Tomoma's adoptive parents if he could bring Tomoma to a tour of his school: the Thunder Ninja Academy

After completing his training, Elder Kai sends Tomoma on a mission to Age 761.

Saiyan Saga[]

Raditz's Attack

On his trip to Age 761, he assisted Goku and Piccolo in a fight against Raditz, who was mysteriously powered up by a mysterious source. He successfully helped Goku weaken Raditz, prompting Piccolo to deliver the final technique, restoring the timeline. Tomoma made it back to Age 852, in which Old Kai congratulated him, though warning him that this job will get harder. Chronoa appears, and leads Titan back to Conton City, showing him the large hologram of Ace. Before taking on another Time Patrol, Chronoa directs Tomoma to check out the Time Patroller Academy and the Reception Area to take on a Parallel Quest where Elder Kai explains the fundamentals of Parallel Quests.

The Saiyan Threat

Back in the Time Nest, there is another problem in history,so Tomoma visits Age 762, during the battle with the Z-Fighters and Nappa & Vegeta. While Nappa is mysteriously powered-up, Tomoma helps Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and Gohan fight him. The Z-Fighters begin to sense Goku is arriving, but also sense another unknown evil person approaching him. Old Kai orders Tomoma to check on Goku, and it is revealed he is being held back by Turles, who has no place in this current part in history. Turles attempts to recruit Tomoma to his Crusher Corps but fails. Both Goku and Tomoma fight Turles while Xeno Trunks tells Tomoma that his partner, Ace is en route to his location. When he arrives, Turles retreats, and Ace goes after him. Goku thanks Tomoma, and they both return to the battlefield, where Gohan and Krillin are the only two Z-Fighters left standing. While Goku fights Vegeta, Tomoma fights Nappa. Tomoma fights Nappa back, while Goku lands a serious blow to Vegeta, who grows angry and prepares to use his Galick Gun. Goku collides with his Kaio-ken Kamehameha, while Nappa fires a Bomber DX at Tomoma. Tomoma blocks the attack and defeats Nappa with his Overclocked Flash, while Goku uses his Kaio-ken x4 Kamehameha, which overpowers Vegeta's Galick Gun. With him and his partner both cornered, Vegeta creates a Power Ball, and he and Nappa both transform into Great Apes while they are mysteriously powered-up. Chronoa comments that Turles slowing Goku down caused a lot of trouble as Nappa was not originally supposed to transform. When Nappa is defeated, Tomoma helps Goku fight Great Ape Vegeta, and Krillin and Gohan eventually return to help them. When Vegeta is defeated and his tail is cut off, he calls on his Attack Ball to retreat as Krillin weakly approaches him. Tomoma stops Krillin from finishing off Vegeta, and Goku telepathically tells Krillin to let him go so that Goku can fight him again one day. With history intact, Tomoma returns to the Time Nest

Trunks states it is good to have him back and Tomoma glances over to see Trunks and Ace standing at the top of the steps. Chronoa welcomes them back as well, with Trunks saying it was rough out there. He then apologizes as he informs her that he failed in his mission, but she tells him not to worry about it as if they were that easy to catch they would have gotten them already. Elder Kai however interjects stating a proper introduction for Tomoma, reminding Trunks of his manners. Trunks introduces himself and explains he oversees the Time Patrol before introducing his partner Ace. Trunks explains they have been using the scrolls to carry out special missions but there have been so may changes in history lately that they have been a bit shorthanded, which is why he has had to ask for help from him and Elder Kai. Trunks notes that Chronoa and Elder Kai have told him that he is quite capable and that he is a cut above the rest. He also notes to Elder Kai's embarrassment that Elder Kai admires his persistence and the way they keep finishing mission after mission. Elder Kai yells at Trunks to stop praising him and not to spoil their new agent, before claiming he never said anything like that and that has a long way to go as a recruit. However, Chronoa tells him not to listen to him and that it’s not true at all as he has been doing excellent work, only for Elder Kai to tell her to stop with the praising, before tiring himself out though he manages to change the subject by stating that history was somehow restored despite there being far too many anomalies and asks why all these people are starting to appear out of their proper places and times. Trunks says they got away this time, but they have seen things like this before and notes it is the pair he was chasing and that they have been enlisting villains from different timelines to sow chaos. Elder Kai asks who these villains he speaks of. Chronoa states they are denizens of the Demon Realm who have come from far in the future to steal energy from the past, the Demon Scientist Towa and her abominable creation the Demonic Android Mira.

Meanwhile unbeknownst to the Time Patrol in an unknown time and location, Turles and Slug are confronted by Towa, Mira, and the Masked Saiyan. Slug tells Mira not to order him around, as he is only cooperating to exact revenge on Goku. However, Turles manages to calm down the situation before it escalates into a fight. He then asks Towa if she brought the item he requested, Towa hands the two each a Fruit of the Tree of Might, with its effects amplified by exposure to the dark energy of the Demon Realm. Slug and Turles take the fruit and leave with Turles swearing to crush Kakarot. After they leave Mira notes that Towa should just reprogram those two but Towa states they are causing havoc fine on their own and notes she has everything well in hand, as the Masked Saiyan stands there silently.

After returning to the Time Nest, Elder Kai says he did good work and that time has returned to its natural course thanks to his efforts. He reveals they did some research and found out Turles and Slug are some dangerous criminals. He explains that Turles is one of the last remaining Saiyans who leads the Crusher Corps. in their devilry, while Slug leads an army of demons and has conquered several planets. Chronoa reveals that both Turles and Slug were defeated by Goku in different timelines, surmising they are out for revenge. Elder Kai states that Trunks has been chasing after them but hasn't been able to catch them yet. He notes  must be some way they can stop them and Chronoa says they must think, before noting that she has other things to do so he is on his own. Elder Kai reminds her they are supposed to be working together. Chronoa states she knows that but she is busy now as Tokitoki is going to lay an egg soon, so she must make sure everything is ready before it arrives. Elder Kai is elated by the news and congratulates her. Elder Kai explains that Tokitoki is a divine bird that manipulates time and that his eggs hold the time for a new universe. Chronoa states that to put it simply Tokitoki's Eggs have the power to create time itself which is why making sure Tokitoki produces healthy eggs is so important as it is one of her many duties as Supreme Kai of Time. Elder Kai is thrilled to get the chance to see the start of a new history. As Chronoa leaves, Elder Kai remembers they still don't have a plan, causing Chronoa to suggests they will just have to give them a pounding the next time they fool with history. Elder Kai reluctantly agrees though is disappointed that brute force is all they've got. He tells Tomoma he’s got it rough and to do is his best.

While Tomoma was being showered with compliments, Elder Kai yells at them to not spoil him. The group realize that Mira and Towa are behind everything, pulling villains from different timelines to use them to sow chaos and cause anomalies in history.

In an unknown time and location, Turles and Slug are confronted by Towa, Mira, and a Masked Saiyan. Slug tells Mira not to order him around, as he is only cooperating to exact revenge on Goku. Towa hands the two each a Fruit of the Tree of Might, with its effects amplified. Slug and Turles take the fruit and leave.

While Captain Ginyu has mysteriously powered-up, Goku and Tomoma fight him and Jeice; Captain Ginyu scolding Jeice for deserting his post in their fighting pose, as Jeice did not expect Captain Ginyu to return in another body. Trunks, in Ginyu's injured body, appears and helps Goku and Tomoma Fight Captain Ginyu and Jeice. When Captain Ginyu is cornered, he tries to change bodies with Goku, but Trunks gets in the way of it, gaining his body back.

Turles appears again and holds Goku in a Full Nelson, allowing Captain Ginyu to switch bodies with him. Goku, in Ginyu's body, along with Tomoma, fight Turles and Captain Ginyu. Captain Ginyu, impressed with Turles' actions, tries to recruit him into the Ginyu Force, but Turles declines. When Captain Ginyu is beaten, he tries to switch bodies with Tomoma, but Goku gets in the way, gaining his body back. Ginyu, in his original body, tries this again, but a Namekian frog suddenly appears beside Goku and Goku throws the frog in the way, prompting Ginyu to switch with the frog. Turles, realizing he failed, retreats, and Tomoma returns to the Time Nest.

Trunks is ashamed that he fell into Towa's trap, and he and Ace says will go after Towa and Mira, leaving Tomoma to repair history. Tomoma appears to help Nail in his fight with a mysteriously powered-up Frieza. Nail tells Frieza about distracting him, but Elder Kai and Supreme Kai of Time realize that Turles and Slug are getting the Dragon Balls. With Nail defeated, an angry Frieza heads towards the Dragon Balls. Turles confronts Gohan and the Dragon Balls, with Krillin defeated. Slug appears, and when Tomoma appears, the two agree to a truce and eat the Fruit of the Tree of Might to power up. Tomoma and Gohan fight the powered-up Turles and Slug. Slug, amazed at his power, tells Turles that he is next, but Turles tells him not to be too cold and they should stick together. Krillin wakes up, and Tomoma tells Gohan and Krillin to leave this to him, and they retreat with the Dragon Balls.

Turles and Slug realize the fruit they ate has been tainted by Towa's dark energy, and the two become empowered and transform into an even more powerful Villainous Mode. While Tomoma fights them both, Trunks and Ace appear. Trunks trusts in Ace to deal with Mira and Towa as Trunks helps Tomoma fight Turles and Slug. After the two are defeated, Trunks goes out to help his partner, and Chronoa tells Tomoma to go help Gohan and the others, as he are currently fighting Frieza. When Tomoma shows up, Frieza had already transformed into his Final Form, and has mysteriously powered-up. Tomoma helps Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo and Vegeta fight him as Goku should be arriving soon. Vegeta is then defeated by Frieza, and Tomoma fights him alone until Goku appears, who eventually hits him with the Spirit Bomb.

Piccolo is defeated and Krillin is killed by Frieza, and Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan. Together, Goku and Tomoma fight off Frieza, who eventually tries to destroy Namek's core. Suddenly, Cooler appears, and both him and Frieza in their Villanous Modes fight Goku and Tomoma. Cooler's appearance in this time proves that history has been completely altered. Eventually, Cooler transforms into his Final Form and Frieza into his 100% Full Power form. Cooler is defeated, and Frieza notices that Porunga has been summoned, but Goku blocks him. Goku thanks Tomoma but tells him that he wants to finish it himself. Tomoma complies and leaves. Elsewhere, Trunks is injured by Mira, and when Tomoma appears, Mira retreats. Trunks orders his Ace to chase after him, while he and Tomoma return to the Time Nest. The Masked Saiyan, watching from afar, also retreats.

Back at the Time Nest, Chronoa and Elder Kai congratulate him on defeating Frieza and Cooler. Elder Kai states he was surprised by Cooler showing up and Chronoa is amazed Towa and Mira could recruit such a powerful ally. Trunks suggests that Towa must have recruited him while the Time Patrol was tied up with dealing with Turles, Slug, and Mira. Elder Kai tells Trunks he did nice work as well and Chronoa asks where Ace is, causing Trunks to inform her that he sent him to chase after Mira. Trunks states that currently Tomoma lacks the strength to confront Towa or Mira yet, though tells them he must be prepared as he has may have to face them one day. Elder Kai says he's done enough for now and that they'll call him when they need help again. In Conton City, Chronoa gives Tomoma a Flying License which she reveals are only awarded to Elite Time Patrollers. She explains that this means he is now recognized as an elite member of the Time Patrol for managing to defeat both Cooler and Frieza. With his new flying license Tomoma is permitted to legally use Flight in Conton City allowing him to explore out of reach areas and access the Travel Shop robot in the Mushroom District which is located high atop one of the giant mushrooms.

Cell Saga

Android Warfare

In Age 767, Cell, in his Villainous Mode, has defeated Piccolo and Android 16. Android 17 charges towards him, but Cell uses Solar Flare to blind him and Android 18 and knocks them both out. Cell then absorbs them both one after the other, attaining his Perfect Form. Trunks, watching this from the scroll, realizes that Cell is not supposed to absorb them both at once. Trunks offers to help Tomoma as he is familiar with this part in history. The two travels to Age 767 during Piccolo's fight with Android 17. Tomoma helps Piccolo fight a Villainous Android 17. Their fight is interrupted by the arrival of a Villainous Cell, and the two fight him along with Android 17 and Android 18. When Piccolo is defeated, Android 16 advises the two to leave as he will deal with Cell. Android 16 is originally supposed to be equal with Cell, but since Cell has powered-up from Villainous Mode, Tomoma helps Android 16 fight him. Cell then sneaks behind Android 17 and absorbs him.

Trunks tells the others about Cell reaching his Perfect Form and opening the Cell Games, but notices one participant that should not be there: Mira. Trunks offers Tomoma his help. While the Cell Games commences with the fight between Goku and Cell, Mira is confronted by Trunks and Tomoma in another location. At the Cell Games, Goku has surrendered and calls for Gohan to fight. Towa then appears and disappears along with Mira. Trunks notices that Cell's power has shot up due to Towa's magic, and says he cannot help Tomoma anymore due to the present Future Trunks being at the Cell Games. Tomoma goes to the Cell Games and helps the Z-Fighters fight the Villainous Cell Jr. Eventually, Android 16 is destroyed by Cell, and Gohan transforms into a Super Saiyan 2. While Gohan fights Cell, Trunks tells Tomoma to dispose of the remaining Cell Jr.

Suddenly, a wormhole appears in the sky, and a group of Metal-Coolers confront Tomoma, saying He will also participate in the Cell Games. Chronoa advises Trunks to help Tomoma, saying if he goes through the wormhole, he won't be seen by Gohan and the others. Trunks does so and after the Metal-Coolers are defeated, He retreat into the wormhole. As history is repaired, Gohan is left to fight Cell. The wormhole leads to Planet Namek, where Tomoma is confronted by more Villainous Metal-Coolers. Trunks soon arrives to help him, saying he programmed a self-destruct sequence in the Big Gete Star's computer. Trunks and Tomoma hold off the Metal-Coolers until He/They are all destroyed.

Trunks returns to the Time Nest while Tomoma returns to the Cell Games to help Gohan fight a Villainous Cell, who has returned in his Super Perfect Form after self-destructing himself. Gohan and Cell collide with their Kamehameha attacks, with Gohan overpowering Cell and destroying him. With history restored, Tomoma returns to the Time Nest.

Trunks is recalling the events in his alternate timeline, having discovered the dead body of Future Gohan and becoming a Super Saiyan. Even that time in history is being altered, Chronoa asks Trunks if he understands, as this is a sensitive time in history from him. Tomoma arrives to help Future Gohan fight a Villainous Android 16, who should not even exist in that timeline. When he is defeated, He are then confronted by Mira. Trunks, growing impatient and worrisome, appears in his Super Saiyan form, despite Chronoa and Old Kai telling him not to. When Mira is defeated and retreats, Future Gohan meets Trunks and asks if he is from the future, realizing that Future Bulma managed to build her time machine and tells Trunks he is proud of him. Future Gohan says that the Androids are attacking the city, and Trunks says he will go with Gohan to fight, knowing history would change for the better if he does. Chronoa pleads for him not to as Trunks would change the entire course of history and that he is acting out of emotion. Future Gohan realizes that since Trunks is all grown up, the future turns out to be safe, and his final fight with the Androids has a purpose, telling Trunks not to abandon Tomoma as his friend. Trunks tries to follow Future Gohan as he flies off, but Tomoma stops him. The two returns to the Time Nest, and Chronoa thanks him for being there to stop Trunks. Trunks takes a break as Old Kai offers to watch over the scrolls in his place.

When the present Future Trunks returned to his alternate timeline after the Cell Games, he is confronted by the Villainous Android 16. Even though Future Trunks is supposed to be more powerful than him, he is having trouble, and Tomoma appears to help him. Eventually, a Villainous Future Cell appears, in his Perfect Form, having absorbed the future Androids. Future Trunks is surprised at this and due to his knowledge, Future Cell realizes he went to the past. When Future Cell and Android 16 are defeated, Future Trunks says it's finally over, and turns to thank Tomoma, who had already returned to the Time Nest. Trunks appears and apologizes for his actions, thanking Tomoma for stopping him.

A Desperate Future Saga[]

Main article: A Desperate Future Saga

Xeno Trunks is looking at the scroll of Age 780 of his alternate timeline and watches the final moments of his mentor Future Gohan and his discovery of Gohan's dead body and becoming a Super Saiyan. Elder Kai says he hasn't seen Xeno Trunks, so Tomoma goes to look for him and finds him looking at the scroll. Xeno Trunks explains he was looking at the scroll that holds the history of his era. He explains that in his timeline everyone was wiped out by 17 and 18, even Future Gohan who was the last to go. He notes that if his mother hadn't invented the Time Machine then he and everyone would have met the same fate as Future Gohan. Elder Kai walks in having overheard their conversation and notes that he can't say he approves of a machine that can fiddle around with history, an assessment which Trunks agrees with knowing full well the dangers such technology holds. Elder Kai however notes there is little point crying over spilled milk as his use of the Time Machine is a part of the official history thanks to Chronoa's benevolence as she chose not to erase the timelines created by Future Trunks or Cell's use of the Time Machine.

Suddenly they notice a change in the same scroll and Xeno Trunks notes they have to act fast. Chronoa appears and asks Trunks if he understands what this means, as this is a sensitive time in history from him and that its is dangerous for him to intervene as the last time Towa altered his timeline he almost faded from existence narrowly surviving thanks to Ace (as well as the "assistance" of certain stranger). Trunks confirms he does and hands the scroll to Tomoma leaving his timeline's fate in his capable hands. Tomoma arrives to help Future Gohan fight a Dark Future Android 16, who should not even exist in that timeline as he was never activated. Unlike his counterpart Dark Future 16 is fixated on eliminating Future Gohan and willing to kill anyone who gets in his way. When he is defeated, they are then confronted by Mira. The two return to the Time Nest, and Chronoa thanks him for being there to stop Trunks.

When Future Cell and Android 16 are defeated, Future Trunks says it's finally over, and turns to thank Titan, who had already returned to the Time Nest. Trunks appears and apologizes for his actions, thanking Tomoma for stopping him.

Afterwards Chronoa, Elder Kai, and the Tomoma decide to give Xeno Trunks some space and watch from the Time Vault's balcony as Trunks views the scroll for Age 780 and notices that the original history has been slightly altered as Future Gohan tells the Androids that he will never die as even if his body breaks someone stronger will rise up in his place, referring to his student Trunks, an event that was not present when he first looked at the scroll. Elder Kai notes the minor change and Chronoa states that it will disappear after she puts the scrolls together but wonders if she should just leave it as is and Elder Kai agrees that they might as well let that one slip by as ultimately Future Gohan chose to accept his fate and out of respect for Trunks.

Majin Buu Saga[]

Decisive Battle with Majin Buu

Supreme Kai of Time announces that Tokitoki has finally laid its egg, explaining to Trunks and Tomoma that as Tokitoki controls time, its eggs mark the dawn of an entirely new timeline. Chronoa calls for a celebration, offering to cook, but Trunks, knowing she is a terrible cook, stops her by asking if he can celebrate later. Chronoa agrees as Trunks' partner is not with them. In an unknown time and location, the Masked Saiyan gives Towa Babidi's Energy-Suction Device full of energy, which Towa uses to empower Mira and the Supervillain Broly and Janemba standing behind him.

In Age 774, a Villainous Broly appears while Goku is fighting Majin Vegeta, and Tomoma appears to fight Broly. When Majin Vegeta knocks out Goku and begins to fight Majin Buu, Tomoma defeats Broly and helps Majin Vegeta as Majin Buu enters Villainous Mode. Majin Vegeta knocks out Trunks and Goten, telling Piccolo to leave with them. As Tomoma returns to the Time Nest, Majin Vegeta blows himself up with the Final Explosion.

Tomoma later arrives to help Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks and Piccolo fight a Villainous Super Buu. When Gotenks defuses, Tomoma fights Super Buu as Old Kai says that Gohan will soon arrive after his full potential has been awakened. Gohan arrives and Tomoma helps him fight Super Buu, but suddenly Supervillain Broly appears. Tomoma fights Broly to prevent him from interfering with Gohan's fight. When Broly is defeated, the group learn that Vegeta is unable to return to Earth because he is being held up in Hell. This is an anomaly in history as Vegeta cannot come to Earth to eventually fuse with Goku. Tomoma leaves Gohan to fight as he makes his way to Hell to help Vegeta.

Tomoma goes to Hell and sees Trunks defeated by Supervillain Janemba. Trunks offers to help but cannot due to Vegeta being in the vicinity. Vegeta then appears and helps Tomoma fight Janemba. Vegeta destroys Janemba with a Final Flash, and thanks Tomoma, who had already returned to the Time Nest. As Trunks is resting, Titan must fight in his place. Tomoma then arrives to the final fight with Kid Buu in Age 774, helping Vegeta fight Supervillain Kid Buu while Goku charges the Super Spirit Bomb. Vegeta recognizes him from their encounter in Hell and wonders about his sudden appearance before noting it is not important, recognizing that if he's there he is willing to fight and to give him a hand as they need to buy time before telling them not to mess it up. Mr. Satan helps to convince the people of Earth to lend their energy by claiming he is the one fighting Buu. With the Super Spirit Bomb fully charged, Goku tells them to get out of the way which Vegeta is able to do on his own thanks to Tomoma’s assistance in fighting Buu. Goku uses it and destroys Kid Buu while stating he hopes Buu comes back as a good person, restoring history.

Battle of Gods Saga[]

God of Destruction's Anger

In Age 774, while Mr. Satan, Goku, and Vegeta rest after the battle with Kid Buu, the Future Warrior observes from the distance as they are contacted by Elder Kai and Chronoa. Elder Kai states it looks like things are back to normal, while Chronoa reveals that Trunks is awake and fully recovered. Xeno Trunks then drops some startling information as he states their was another person with Janemba in Hell and that they should be somewhere nearby. Tomoma notices the Masked Saiyan who runs from his hiding place behind a rock causing him to give chase. However when he finally catches up to him, the Masked Saiyan travels through time taking Tomoma with him.

In Age 778, the God of Destruction Beerus is talking with Goku after their fight about Goku absorbing the power of the Super Saiyan God. Their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of Titan and the Masked Saiyan. Trunks notes the Masked Saiyan is Mira's ally and decides to capture him and find out where his masters are hiding. Elder Kai notes Titan has leaped into a wild age of history pointing out that the person Goku is fighting is none other than Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7. Goku notes it is so strange but the guy in the mask seems familiar to him. Beerus notes it is very rude to barge in like that and ponders whether he should destroy them. Chronoa quickly intervenes by contacting Beerus and begs him to hold off on that. Beerus asks who is contacting him and Chronoa states its been awhile before revealing it is the Supreme Kai of Time. She explains that they are after some folks who are messing with space-time and asks if he could spare a minute or two... or even three. Beerus recognizes it is Chronoa and says he doesn't know what she is going on about but to make it quick and Chronoa says they will do that. She orders Tomoma to go and take care of business so as to not upset Lord Beerus. Chronoa however notes they are taking too long as Trunks notes the Masked Saiyan is really strong and gets the feeling he has seen him somewhere as well. Chronoa states they don't have time for speculation and to just knock him out already, as Beerus grows impatient, causing Chronoa to ask for just another second. Goku starts to feel pumped up watching and asks if they mind he joined in, but Beerus says that is nonsense reminding Goku that he still has a "date" with him, causing Chronoa to ask if she is the only sane person left. She notes things are getting silly and decides she will have to roll up her sleeves and whip out something special. Trunks asks what this special something is that she has planned. While Chronoa and Trunks go off to prepare Chronoa's secret solution to their current problem Tomoma manages to partially shatter his mask. Trunks recognizes the Masked Saiyan, revealing he is none other than Goku's father Bardock explaining Goku's feeling the Masked Saiyan felt familiar to him (implying Goku apparently has some subconscious memory of his father despite his amnesia of his life as Kakarot due to his head injury).

Mira then appears and fights Tomoma noting that he has grown stronger since their last fight and wants them to show him what they've got intrigued by his power. Seeing Mira has shown up Trunks tries to join in too, but Elder Kai tells him to cool his jets as he knows he is not allowed in this bit of history as it could cause Goku to ask too many questions. Goku points out that there is another one appeared and notes it must make Beerus pretty steamed. As Beerus notes he is running short on patience and wants them all to leave (presumably out of respect for Chronoa), Mira tells him to stay back and be quiet. Both Beerus, Trunks, and Elder Kai are taken aback by Mira daring to mouth off to Beerus with Elder Kai calling him an idiot for foolishly talking back to Beerus of all people, something Elder Kai himself learned the hard way 75 Million years before. Beerus notes Mira has a big mouth and asks if he is really willing to pick a fight with a God of Destruction. Mira then notes that he could care less who Beerus is as he happens to be enjoying his fight with the warrior and notes he won't allow any distractions. Beerus finds Mira's audacity amusing noting it has been a while since he had met someone stubborn enough to ignore him. Beerus says he will watch a little while longer just because he admires Mira for having the guts to stand up to a God of Destruction, to Goku's amazement. Elder Kai notes that its a good thing Beerus is amused as for a minute there he thought Beerus would end the universe right then and there because of Mira's stubbornness.

However eventually Beerus loses his patience and states he has half a mind to destroy them all right there. However Chronoa sends in her surprise: a case full of pudding cups that the Future Warrior gives to Beerus. Chronoa says Beerus can have that pudding if he doesn't destroy everything. Beerus accepts the pudding and offers everyone some. Goku, Whis, and Tomoma accepts, while Mira and Bardock retreat as Mira finds Beerus' friendly attitude a buzzkill. Beerus and Goku eat the pudding, but find it disgusting as Chronoa says she made it herself which stops Whis from reaching for one of the cups when Chronoa reveals this fact fully aware of what a horrible cook she is (implying her poor cooking is infamous among the gods). Beerus grows extremely furious and powers up, and Whis asks Tomoma to help with subduing him noting the last time Beerus was this angry he destroyed two suns. Whis takes the time to admonish Chronoa for her role in upsetting Beerus though she is oblivious to his criticism even taking it as a complement forcing Whis to make it clear to her that it was not meant to be taken as such. Goku notes to his disappointment that he is unable to fight and Whis explains that after eating Chronoa's pudding it is no longer possible and to just rest awhile. Whis notes how capable Tomoma is and that such a level of strength is rare even among Saiyans. He asks if he is looking for work and notes he has what it takes to be a candidate for the next God of Destruction. However Chronoa tells him to stop as she can't have him waltzing in and stealing Time Patrol personnel, causing Whis to note it is such a pity. Eventually they tire Beerus out and he calms down while Goku notes his stomach cramps are gone too. Chronoa apologizes and offers to make Beerus a special lunch as an apology though Beerus tells her not to even dare making another meal for him before asking if she is trying to kill him before stating he will have no more of her cooking before returning home with Whis as he has worn himself out. Tomoma bows his head goodbye to Beerus and Whis, before Goku thanks Tomoma as Earth is safe and notes he is not sure why he is here but is thankful all the same. Back in the Time Nest, Trunks says he did great work out there and notes they were really on the brink of disaster. Chronoa states she didn't expect them to run into Lord Beerus and that they really cut that one close. Elder Kai however can't resist pointing out it was thanks to Chronoa's cooking. Chronoa however states it wasn't that bad and that things would have gone a lot worse without her pudding. However Trunks notes that Mira and the Masked Saiyan Bardock got away in the end. Elder Kai notes they will definitely try something different now that they have discovered how they operate, wondering what they will try next time.

Resurrection 'F' Saga[]

The Emperor's Return

Tomoma arrives in Age 779 to help the Z-Fighters fight the resurrected Frieza and his henchmen. Together with Jaco, Tomoma fights off several of Frieza's henchmen in their Villanous Modes. With the defeat of his henchmen, Frieza himself fights Tomoma. Goku and Vegeta then arrive and Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan Blue while Frieza transforms into Golden Frieza. The sheer pressure from their power levels cause interference in the Time Nest's communication as Tomoma helps Goku fight a Villainous Golden Frieza. Eventually, a Villainous Metal-Cooler appears to help Frieza, and Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan Blue and joins in the fight. During the fight, Chronoa appears to ask for Beerus and Whis' help as Mira and Towa are attacking the Time Nest, enticing them with cream puffs. He agrees and leave. With Frieza defeated, he quickly destroys the Earth but not before Trunks appears to save Tomoma.

While Beerus and Whis are in the Time Nest, Chronoa says that Towa impersonated her to lure them away from Earth, so that Whis could not perform a Temporal Do-Over to restore Earth as he did in the correct history. Whis, Beerus and Tomoma return to where Earth is supposed to be, and Whis performed a Temporal Do-Over, rewinding time to right before Frieza blew up Earth, allowing Tomoma to stop him. Goku thanks Tomoma , and he, Goku and Vegeta begin to fight Supervillain Golden Frieza and Metal-Cooler. When the two are defeated, Goku offers to help Tomoma should he ever need it, and Tomoma returns to the Time Nest.

Beerus is annoyed by Towa's actions, asking to destroy the Time Nest. Whis, learning of Tokitoki's egg hatching, says he will not allow Beerus to do so, offering to spar with him to relieve stress. Whis then offers Tomoma to join them. While Tomoma and Beerus fight with Whis, Whis draws his symbol on Beerus' forehead. Beerus leaves to go wash it off as Tomoma fights and defeats Whis alone. With Beerus content, he and Whis leave everything to them and they leave.

With things calm, a little too calm, the group decide to investigate Bardock's disappearance from the original timeline and save him from Towa's mind control. Trunks and Tomoma travel to Age 737, moments before Frieza destroys Planet Vegeta. Before Bardock is killed by the attack, he is sucked into a wormhole. Towa and Mira appear, and Trunks and Tomoma chase them. He arrives at Earth in an unspecified point in time, and Towa appears along with the masked Bardock in Villainous Mode. Villainous Mira appears to help Bardock. When He are both defeated, Bardock's mask is shattered, and Towa traps Trunks and Tomoma in a wormhole slowly sucking them into a separate dimension with no way out. He is saved by Bardock, who woke up and pushed them out of the wormhole by blasting them. Bardock, free from the mind control, traps Mira in a full nelson. Due to Bardock gaining power from being under Towa's control, Mira is unable to free himself from Bardock's hold. Bardock powers up, telling them to never underestimate the power of a Saiyan, and he drags Mira along with him into the wormhole leading to the separate dimension. Towa then reveals her trump card, Ace wearing a mask and being under Towa's control. Trunks and Tomoma are forced to fight the mind-controlled Ace. When the mind-controlled Ace is defeated, Towa decides to start a clean slate, making Ace vanish out of thin air, along with the memories of him vanishing from everyone's minds. Trunks and Tomoma return to the Time Nest with Bardock's broken mask as their only clue, not remembering Ace.

Warrior from the Demon World Saga[]

Trunks puts the pieces together and begins to remember back when he wished for Ace to appear in Age 850. Before he could do so, Towa appears and quickly destroys Shenron. Due to this change in history, the Time Nest begins falling apart. Tomoma quickly travels to that point in time and prevents Towa from destroying Shenron, beginning to fight her as the Trunks from that timeline helps him. After Towa is defeated, she disappears, and Tomoma returns to the Time Nest. Towa suddenly appears in the Time Nest, knocking down Chronoa and taking Tokitoki's egg. Mira then appears and fights off Trunks and Tomoma. When Mira fires a Ki blast to finish him off, he is saved by Ace who takes the attack. Mira and Towa jump into a wormhole, and Tomoma jumps in after them, after being inspired by his predecessor.

At the ruined city in the unspecified point in time, Tomoma fights the Villainous Mira. During the battle, Mira begins to overheat from his immense power, and he grows insane. Towa tries to calm him down but fails and is forced to help Tomoma subdue him before his core overloads and destroys the entire universe. When Mira is defeated, Towa tries to take out his core to repair it, but Mira stops her and grabs her by the throat. Mira betrays Towa and says he has grown past her schematics and proceeds to absorb her into his being, along with the Tokitoki egg she is holding, attaining his true form. With Mira too powerful, Old Kai pleads for Tomoma to retreat, but as Mira attacks Tomoma, he is saved by the arrival of Goku.

Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan Blue and helps Tomoma fight Mira, explaining that Whis brought him to this time and he is glad to be able to repay the debt he owed Tomoma. The two fight a long and fierce battle against Mira. Eventually, Mira's power begins to fluctuate. Seeing an opening, Goku uses Dragon Fist on Mira, and yells for Tomoma to finish Mira off with his own Super Kamehameha. As Mira is being destroyed, he laughs and wished he could have fought more, asking Towa to forgive him.

Epilogue[]

At the Time Nest, history has been restored and things are once again peaceful. Whis, Beerus and Goku prepare to head back to their era, but not before participating in a huge banquet in Conton City to celebrate the return of Tokitoki's Egg and the Time Breaker's defeat. Elder Kai ends up accidentally bumping into Beerus while reading one of his Dirty magazines. Beerus is at first angered that someone would interrupt his snack time but calms down when he realizes it is Elder Kai. Elder Kai acts friendly towards Beerus but is peeved by the God of Destruction's presence as he still holds a grudge against Beerus for sealing him in the Z Sword. However, Beerus overhears Elder Kai grumbling to himself under his breath and tells Elder Kai not to complain to himself loud enough that Beerus can hear him. Beerus then decides to simply destroy Elder Kai for annoying him, but fortunately Whis arrives with a plate of food, diffusing the situation. Meanwhile Chronoa summons Shenron at the behest of Tokitoki to wish up a feast, after dissuading Chronoa from cooking it herself by successfully arguing that there are too many people to cook for. Elder Kai however objects to using the Dragon Balls to order take out, but Beerus reminds him it is a festive occasion. Chronoa then wishes for a feast that will leave everyone full and satisfied which Shenron easily grants. At the banquet, Beerus tells Whis to try some of the sushi, only to find that Whis is sitting at another table with Goku, Chronoa, Tokitoki, and Elder Kai.

After the banquet, Goku asks who he think is stronger between Tomoma and Ace, causing Trunks to remind Goku that he has been at it longer than either of the them, but Elder Kai reminds him that Goku defeated Raditz despite the latter’s higher power level. Whis suggests the two fights and compare the results to settle matters and Goku eagerly agrees, as he hopes to join in, but Beerus tells him to sit back and watch. Goku complains, but is admonished by Trunks for his immature behavior, causing everyone to laugh. The results of the two young Saiyan’s battle is left ambiguous. But its stated by Ace even though he is the more experienced fighter Tomoma has far greater potential than him

For his role in the Time Breaker's defeat, Tomoma is given the title Conton City Hero and his holographic statue appears in the center of Conton City's Recreation Plaza.

Battle With Universe Six Saga[]

Tomoma is informed by Capsule Corp robot Spots of a new time distortion. He meets up with Trunks, Ace, Chronoa, and Elder Kai inside the Time Vault and are informed that a history change has occurred during the Tournament of Destroyers which takes place a year earlier in Age 779 instead of Age 780 like in the original history. Elder Kai and Chronoa then show them the Time Scroll for Age 779 which shows Beerus, Whis, and the rest of Team Universe 7 waiting for Goku and Majin Buu to show up, only for Beerus and Whis to decide to leave them behind when He fail to show up on time. Chronoa and Elder Kai task Ace with finding Goku, causing Trunks to ask if he will be looking for Buu, but Elder Kai tells him not to bother as Buu never fought in the Tournament as he failed the written exam in the original history and tell Trunks to help the Hero search for Goku. Meanwhile Tomoma is selected to join Team Universe 7 to ensure Universe 7's victory and fix any further changes during the tournament.

In Age 779 on the Nameless Planet, Piccolo is about to face Botamo in the first-round due to Goku's absence, just as Tomoma appears. Beerus yells at Tomoma for getting in the way, but Chronoa contacts him and explains that she selected him to join Team Universe 7 since they were two fighters down. Champa is furious at the sudden last-minute addition, but Beerus reminds him of his already unfair advantage and he reluctantly agrees. Vados however points out Tomoma must take the exam first. While Piccolo faces off against Botamo, Tomoma takes the exam under the watchful eye of Vados. Elder Kai apologizes for forgetting about the exam, causing Chronoa to admonish him for forgetting something he had witnessed firsthand. Elder Kai complains that he can't remember everything, causing Chronoa to state she hopes she never gets old, only for Elder Kai to remind her that they are only 1000 years apart in age. Trunks interrupts the argument by asking if he should turn off his communicator while they are arguing, causing Chronoa to apologize to Trunks and Tomoma for distracting him. Eventually Piccolo defeats Botamo just as Tomoma finishes the exam which he passed, allowing him to officially join Team Universe 7. At about the same time, Ace arrives with Goku. Beerus inquires as to Goku's whereabouts and Goku apologizes stating that he thought the tournament was on a different day and it is revealed that Tomoma and Trunks located him training on King Kai's Planet. Champa is once again angry at the sudden appearance of another fighter, but Beerus states reminds him that it is now a fair fight and rhetorically asks if he has a problem with fighting fair, which Champa claims he is fine with playing fair. Vados however reminds everyone that Goku will have to take the exam, forcing him to leave the fighting to Tomoma and the rest of Team Universe 7 for the time being. Champa decides to match the next match a team match to spice things up and tells Cabba to team up with Frost. As a result, Tomoma and Piccolo confront Final Form Frost and Cabba in a team match. Elder Kai notes that Frost shouldn't be fighting in his Final Form yet, causing Chronoa state that He will just have to be prepared for any other changes that might pop up. Frost is cordial and respectful towards Tomoma, causing Beerus to state that though Frost looks like Frieza, he couldn't be any more different.

However, when Tomoma starts to get the upper hand, Frost reveals his true colors by using his Secret Poison on Tomoma, disorienting him and knocking him near the edge of the ring. Just as Frost is about kick the dazed Tomoma out of the ring, Piccolo manages to block Frost's attack, preventing his teammate from being disqualified by ring out. Tomoma recovers from the poison and engages Frost in combat once more. However, Jaco having seen Frost's poison needle informs the referee that Frost is cheating by using a weapon, causing him to be disqualified. Cabba is stunned that Frost would resort to cheating and demands an explanation. Vados then reveals that it is simply Frost's true nature and reveals his status as the secret leader of space pirates. Frost laughs and admits that he has been starting wars in Universe 6, ending them publicly, and profiting on the rebuilding, something which his is unapologetically proud of, causing Beerus to state that he's not too different from Frieza after all. However, Vegeta tells Tomoma not to let Frost get off so easily with a disqualification and that people like Frost need to be ground into the dirt. As a result, Tomoma continues to fight Frost despite his disqualification. Frost asks if he is sure he still wants to fight, as he will gladly use his poison on him. As Cabba had been fighting fairly against Piccolo, he is exempt from being disqualified and continues to fight Piccolo as their battle is still unresolved. Meanwhile Goku manages to finish his test and Beerus asks if he passed, causing Goku to sheepishly confirm he did but only barely, causing Beerus to remind him that he would have destroyed him had he failed. Goku asks when he will get a chance to fight, and Beerus tells him he will get his chance soon and to just sit back and wait. Tomoma manages to defeat Frost shortly thereafter. Despite Frost being defeated and disqualified, Champa is not impressed by Tomoma’s strength and sends Hit in to team up with Cabba. Before the match can commence, Vegeta asks Piccolo to tag out so he can deal with Cabba, which Piccolo agrees to. As a result, the third round consists of Vegeta & Tomoma vs. Cabba & Hit. Goku is excited to see what Hit is capable of, causing Whis to explain he is the strongest assassin in Universe 6, which makes Goku eager to fight him. Vegeta demands Cabba transform into a Super Saiyan, but Cabba reveals that he is unable to transform and asks Vegeta to teach him how to, stating that he needs to become stronger to save his family back home on Planet Sadala. Vegeta however refuses and transforms into a Super Saiyan, admonishing Cabba for daring to call himself a Saiyan after asking an opponent in the middle of a tournament and attacks Cabba. Trunks taken aback by the brutality of his father's attack and Beerus hopes that Vegeta remembers that killing will get him disqualified. Cabba attempts to give up, but Vegeta swears if he gives up now he will kill him. He then threatens that after the tournament he will destroy Planet Sadala himself and slaughter a of Cabba's family and loved ones. As Vegeta stands over Cabba charging a Big Bang Attack, Cabba raises to his feet and angrily tells Vegeta to leave his planet and family alone, transforming into a Super Saiyan, like in the original history. Vegeta then reveals that he was helping Cabba unlock it the whole time and states that Anger is the first step to becoming a Super Saiyan. Vegeta then tells Cabba to test his new power on Tomoma and then transforms into Super Saiyan Blue to fight with Hit. Elder Kai curses Vegeta for always doing whatever he wants, but Chronoa states what's done is done and tells Tomoma to leave Hit to Vegeta and go fight Cabba instead. Cabba is in awe of his newfound power and realizes that Vegeta said all the horrible things to him to stir up feelings of rage and desperation with in him. Cabba says he will remember what Vegeta taught him and fight with everything he has. Trunks is impressed that Cabba possesses such power even though he only a fledgling Super Saiyan and concludes that Cabba is a well spring of raw talent. He tells Tomoma he can't imagine how strong Cabba will become so he will have to watch him carefully. As Cabba and Tomoma fight, Beerus recalls that there was one more fighter on the other team. Whis explains that Magetta withdrew to Beerus' shock. Whis then explains that Champa apparently called Magetta a “ usless Tin-Can”which caused Magetta to lose his will to fight and went home. Whis explains that Metal man can be quite sensitive and crumple up at the slightest insult. Beerus is taken aback but concludes that it's one less fighter for them to worry about. Eventually Tomoma manages to defeat Cabba, however Vegeta is not so fortunate as Hit manages to defeat him in battle. To make matters worse, Tomoma finds out that Hit is now under the influence of Dark Magic and obtains the Supervillain Mode power up gaining its telltale black/white aura and glowing pink eyes. Goku is amazed that Hit is strong enough to beat Vegeta. With Vegeta and Cabba knocked out, the referee calls for Monaka to step out onto the stage, causing Beerus to worry. Goku wishes Monaka good luck and tells him he has been looking forward to seeing him fight. However, Whis finds that Monaka had fainted which he attributes to all the excitement. Beerus tells Goku to fight in Monaka's place, though Goku asks if he is sure that he wants to save Monaka for last, causing Beerus to reply it is best to save the best for last, as it keeps things exciting. However, Goku is reluctant to join the fight as Universe 6 is down to their last fighter and that it would be super disappointing if it ended too soon, but Beerus tells him to let him worry about that. Vegeta having recovered from his battle, notices Hit's power level went up even further, and Piccolo reveals that Hit is growing stronger as he fights. Suddenly, Cabba and Frost jump into the ring both possessed by Dark Magic and in Supervillain Mode. The referee announces it is pandemonium and Champa wonder what the heck has gotten into them. Beerus tells them to stop as they already lost. The sudden melee causes Goku to get excited to fight and even wants Monaka to join in, so it is 3-on-3. Champa takes advantage of the situation by stating that if the fighters agree to it then it is not against the rules and declares it a good old-fashioned battle royal. Goku tells Monaka to join in but Beerus declares that Monaka withdraws and explains that one on one matches are fine but in a brawl like this Monaka would kill everyone, though Goku is somewhat skeptical. Beerus orders Goku to get in the fight and win, though Whis states that beating 2-on-3 won't be easy. Elder Kai tells Tomoma it’s his cue and tells them if He beats Cabba and Frost, it will be back to Goku against Hit, just like it should be. Trunks realizes that Monaka is useless in a fight which Chronoa confirms and that he was just someone that Beerus had brought along to motivate Goku and the other members of Team Universe 7. Elder Kai states that playing tricks like that is a naughty habit, even for a god, causing Beerus to sneeze (due to Elder Kai talking about him), causing Whis to ask if he had caught a cold. Beerus replies by saying he thinks that someone has been talking about him behind his back and says he will make a note to destroy them, causing Chronoa shriek in fear, though Elder Kai insists that Beerus couldn't have heard him. Hit is surprised that Goku's is capable to overcome his Time-Skip but states he will just have to improve further. Goku states it is too bad as he was doing his best to improve so he could fight against Lord Beerus and then powers-up with the Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken. Goku reveals he had been saving it to fight Lord Beerus to Beerus' shock, causing Whis to ask if he is sensing a tinge of fear coming from Beerus, which Beerus denies. Eventually Tomoma manages to damage Frost enough for him to start returning to normal, causing Elder Kai to tell him to keep on attacking and Cabba starts to resist mentally after Tomoma manages to damage him enough, causing Chronoa to tell them to hurry up and finish Cabba off to return him to normal. After defeating both Cabba and Frost, Champa cheers Hit on and Beerus threatens that if Team Universe 7 loses after all Tomoma's meddling, he will destroy the Time Nest for good causing Chronoa to reassure him that he won't lose and to calm down. Eventually, Tomoma does enough damage to Cabba, Frost, and Hit to restore them to normal. Having restored history to it proper course, Tomoma jumps out of the ring, causing Beerus to yell at him and asks if he wants him to destroy him, though Chronoa tells Beerus to just wait a little longer. Chronoa then explains that the truth is Tomoma wasn't just a stand-in for Buu and that he is there on a Time Patrol mission and that Tomoma’s work here is done, and the rest is up to Team Universe 7. However, Beerus says that can wait as Universe 7 is about to win. Champa taunts his brother over Tomoma being disqualified by ring out, causing Beerus to growl at his brother, forcing Whis to tell Beerus to take a deep breath and calm down. Beerus calms down and thanks Tomoma for his help and that it was some terrific fighting. Tomoma takes one last look at Goku and gives a nod, before returning to the Time Nest in Age 852. Hit calls Tomoma a nuisance, causing Goku to tell him not to insult him. Hit says that they seem tight and Goku confirms it calling by Tomoma his friend before using the X10 Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken to power-up further while Hit responds with Pure Progress and the two clashes, leading to Goku blasting Hit into the air with a X10 God Kamehameha.

Tomoma is greeted back at the Time Nest by Chronoa, Elder Kai, Tokitoki, Trunks, and Ace. Chronoa says that everything has returned to normal. Trunks said he didn't expect Goku to jump in their, but it seems He have restored the time and explains that Team Universe 7 ended up winning the fight after He left. Elder Kai however points out the Universe 6 fighters were scary. However, Chronoa finds the idea of a tournament like that as being fun and even suggests the Time Patrol should hold a tournament of their own and bring fighters from all over time. Elder Kai however furiously calls Chronoa a fool and to think about what would happen to history then. Despite Elder Kai's valid point, Chronoa calls him a party pooper causing Trunks to laugh at Chronoa and Elder Kai.

Afterwards, Trunks asks everyone if their recent mission seemed strange, Goku was missing and then just as He fixed things, he showed up and everything went crazy and suggests that it was like someone planned for all that to happen, though he hopes it is just his imagination.

"Future Trunks" Saga[]

Warrior of Hope

Tomoma finds a Capsule Corp Robot named Culina in the Time Nest who informs him that he has a new mission. In the Time Vault they are greeted by Elder Kai who asks where Trunks is, though Chronoa states she set him on another mission as it would be a bad time to run into a problem like they did before, as Elder Kai informs Titan that the history change involves a piece of history closely connected to Trunks. He explains that the future timeline had finally found peace after being ravaged by the Androids, when it was beset by a tragedy. Chronoa tells them to look at the scroll which shows the change they are talking about.

In Age 796, Future Trunks is preparing to flee in the Time Machine when suddenly his Time Machine mysteriously stops working as its systems emit the same energy as a Time Scroll with a history change. As he tries to get it started, he notices a shadowy figure with glowing red eyes appears in the smoke. The smoke clears, and he sees Goku Black charging a Black Kamehameha. Black states this is the end for him then fires his Black Kamehameha which destroys both Trunks and his Time Machine. Goku Black smiles as his eyes glow and he is surrounded by dark energy.

Chronoa reveals that in the original timeline Trunks should have used his Time Machine to go and get help from Goku and the others, but that man showed up and destroyed the machine before Trunks could use it changing history. Elder Kai is dismayed they are dealing with time travel again and states he does not approve of Trunks' use of it even when it’s an established part of history. Chronoa explains to Tomoma that unlike the time scrolls and machine used by the Time Patrol, Trunks' time machine creates more timelines, however she notes that Trunks going to the main timeline is a part of the correct timeline, so they have no choice but to protect it. Elder Kai asks if they saw the face of the one who attacked Trunks and explains he is Goku Black. Though he notes that while Black looks like Goku his heart couldn't be more different and that he's wiped out gods and mortals from every universe, a truly terrifying foe to say the least. Chronoa states there is no need to panic as they won't be alone out there. Ace walks in and Chronoa explains that since Trunks is away they have arranged for Ace to be Tomoma’s partner for this mission. Tomoma and Ace are both ready to work together. Chronoa orders Ace to go to Age 796 and make sure Trunks flees in the Time Machine while she orders Tomoma to go to the past in the main timeline when Trunks meets up with Goku, at which point Goku Black will be transported to that period by his Time Ring due to the time distortion caused by the Time Machine. Elder Kai states that their mission is to stop Goku Black before he changes history as he had in the altered timeline of Age 796. Chronoa tells them both good luck and to keep Trunks safe. Ace manages to stop Goku Black from destroying the Time Machine allowing Trunks to escape to the main timeline. Titan watches from behind a building at the Capsule Corporation as Future Trunks talks to Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, and his younger counterpart. Elder Kai states Goku Black should be arriving any minute and asks if they see anything. Chronoa then informs them that Goku Black is traveling through time and asks of they are ready. Suddenly a fissure in timespace opens and Black emerges. He activates Supervillain Mode power up causing Goku to respond by transforming to Super Saiyan 2. Black wonders where he is before noticing Future Trunks and Goku. SSJ2 Goku tells Black he heard he's strong and to show him what he's got, which Goku Black agrees to saying it would be an honor as he has been wanting to fight Goku too. Trunks asks how he got to the main timeline, and Black explains that he took the same route as Trunks that was created by the Time Machine. Elder Kai informs Tomoma that Black has a Time Ring, which means if they aren't careful, he could follow them anywhere through timespace and that they need to wear him down enough so that he won't be able to pursue them immediately, then come straight back to the Time Nest. Goku asks who Tomoma is and wonders if he came from the future with Trunks. Kid Trunks recognizes Tomoma as a Saiyan and wonders if Bulma and Vegeta had a secret child. Goku Black notes that the pain there are causing him is only making him stronger, causing Goku to state he is starting to creep him out. Black soon notices that his Time Ring is reacting to Tomoma’s presence and wonders about who Tomoma is. Suddenly a wormhole opens and starts sucking Goku Black in as Goku Black notes that the time distortion is restoring itself back to normal, though he resists being sucked in long enough to destroy Trunks' Time Machine with a ki blast before being completely sucked in. Future Trunks is devastated by the destruction of his time machine, before Goku asks about Tomoma, though Trunks has no idea who he is.

Tomoma returns to the Time Nest, where he is congratulated by Elder Kai and Chronoa. Elder Kai notes that though the Time Machine ended up totaled, it is okay as it occurred in the original timeline and Chronoa adds that the correction was a success as Bulma would fix up Cell's Time Machine for Future Trunks, Goku, and Vegeta to use. However, Chronoa soon notice another scroll showing a history change. Elder Kai asks if she is sure and Chronoa notes it is from after the point in which Bulma had repaired Cell's Time Machine when Trunks took Goku and Vegeta into the future. Elder Kai notes that it was in the future timeline when Future Zamasu showed up. Elder Kai explains that Zamasu was once an apprentice Supreme Kai who used the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku after he noticed how much power Goku had and became Goku Black. He then explains that Black teamed up with the Zamasu of Trunks' timeline, so they could work together to rid the universe of humanity. Elder Kai notes that while he may have only been an apprentice, he doesn't like the idea of sending them to deal with the gods' mistakes, but notes they are the only ones they have capable of stopping Zamasu. Both are sent to Age 796 where they join forces with Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta in confronting Goku Black. Vegeta recognizes Tomoma from the previous battle with Black. Black notes that no how many fighters join in the results will be the same. Goku offers to join in, but Vegeta tells he doesn't need any help and for all of them to stay out of his way, causing Elder Kai to note how scary Vegeta can be, before stating it isn't the time for that as Goku Black is strong enough but he keeps getting stronger now. Chronoa states they both know what to do and to concentrate on holding off Black. Goku Black is impressed by the power of both warriors and decides to show them something as a reward., leading him to transform into his Supervillain Mode Empowered Super Saiyan Rosé form. As Goku Black babbles on about the beauty of his new form, Goku notes he has no clue what he is talking about and notes Black is a real creep. Black notes his Time Ring once again reacting to Tomoma's presence and states he knew there was something familiar about him and what wonderful fortune it is for him, though before he can say anything further Vegeta tells Black to shut up as he's the one Black is fighting. Black however states that Vegeta's part is long over and that he is nothing but a warm up. Black defeats Vegeta, and reconsiders stating that warm up was too strong a word and compares him to an appetizer of vegetables. He also states it is time to relish the main course, however Future Zamasu appears and states that will be enough as he will no longer suffer Black's irresponsible actions and reminds them of their deal that Future Zamasu will be the one to finish off Goku. Elder Kai identifies the newcomer as Zamasu and Chronoa tells Tomoma and Ace to focus on Black while Goku and the others deal with Zamasu. As they continue to fight Black, Elder Kai tells them Future Mai managed to rescue Vegeta, while Goku and Trunks managed to get away from Zamasu. Chronoa tells them to find an opening and come back but to remember that both Future Zamasu and Black have Time Rings. Tomoma and Ace manage to elude Black and he notes Future Trunks and the others got away but Future Zamasu is unconcerned noting they will be back and they will finish them off when they do. Black asks what they should do about their other problem referring to the two warriors, though Zamasu states that will require patient thought, and notes there is no sense in rushing when one is dealing with time travelers which Black agrees, showing they are both aware of their ability to travel through time.

Back at the Time Nest, Elder Kai welcomes him back and admits he is glad to see that he is alright. Chronoa tells him that he did great and that she wishes she could tell him to rest up but unfortunately another change occurs. Chronoa states that she imagines that Future Zamasu and Black are behind this new change too. Elder Kai tells them he'll be in for some more hard fighting, so tells him to let them know when he is ready to go, giving him some time to prepare for his next mission.

After preparing Tomoma returns to the Time Vault, where Elder Kai informs his next destination is when Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks returned to the future timeline. Chronoa notes that Zamasu and Black haven't disappeared, and the situation looks grim. Chronoa states in the proper timeline Goku and the others survived and came up with a plan to defeat the two. Elder Kai notes that it will be tricky to get away from them this time now that they are even more powerful. He tells them to do their best to keep Zamasu and Black busy. Back in Age 786, they find that both Goku and Vegeta have already been defeated leaving only Trunks to stand up to Supervillain Mode empowered SSR Goku Black and Future Zamasu. Elder Kai notes the strange energy emanating from them before noticing Goku and Vegeta have already been defeated. Chronoa tells them not to worry as their partner the hero will make sure Goku and Vegeta survive. Elder Kai tells them to work with Trunks to hold off both Black and Zamasu. Zamasu and Black explain their rational behind the Zero Mortals Plan, though Trunks states it is nothing but senseless slaughter. However Black states that Trunks' sins are far more severe than theirs, with both Black and Zamasu pointing out that Trunks' misuse of the time machine. Black states that by saving Goku from dying of Heart Virus he allowed Black to steal his body in the unaltered main timeline. Zamasu notes that the one who created their current situation was Trunks himself, and it is the result of human pride. Trunks notes that he only wanted to save everyone, though Zamasu states that time is the realm of the gods and that the only thing awaiting one who trespasses into that realm is a swift death, failing to realize his own hypocrisy as he and Goku Black have both misused the Time Rings and murdered their fellow gods, as well as the fact that Chronoa is the god who ultimately rules over time and space. However, Trunks' anger causes him to transform into his Super Saiyan Rage form. Super Saiyan Rage Trunks states they can call him a criminal if they want but he has a sentence of his own for Black. Black and Zamasu are shocked by Future Trunks' increase in power. Super Saiyan Rage Trunks thanks Tomoma for their help but states that stopping Zamasu and Black is his job and tells him to head to his father's time and find a way to defeat them. However, Chronoa tells him to hold on a little longer as Ace is just coming to help Goku and Vegeta. Ace manages to get Goku and Vegeta away safely and Chronoa informs Tomomathat Ace managed to get them back to the time machine safely. Elder Kai tells Tomoma to leave the rest up to Trunks and hurry on back.

Infinite History Saga[]

Main article:Infinite History Saga

A new Time Rift appears in the Time Nest next to Chronoa's residence along with a Partner Customization Robot. This rift leads to a new story mode called Extra Story during which the events of the Infinite History Saga takes place.

After accessing the rift, Tomoma will find himself walking down the Time Nest's footpath when he encounters Demon God Demigra for the first time. Tomoma prepares for a fight but strangely Elder Kai walks up to him and asks why he is standing there in a fighting stance unconcerned by Demigra's presence. Ace and Trunks: Xeno join him and Trunks: Xeno refers to Demigra by the title Supreme Kai of Time explaining everyone's odd behavior as Tomoma had apparently entered an altered history where Demigra became Supreme Kai of Time instead of Chronoa and leads the Time Patrol. Demigra reveals he summoned them as Tokitoki has gone missing. Trunks: Xeno notes he has been too hard on Tokitoki implying Demigra still abuses Tokitoki and Elder Kai notes Demigra's evil nature pointing out Demigra's evil laugh when he laughs off their concerns. Elder Kai suggests they call Tokitoki which Demigra, Trunks: Xeno, and Elder Kai do. Tomoma is the only one who realizes this history is wrong before noticing the Time Vault show signs of a massive history change and is about to go critical. Just as it seems Tomoma and history is doomed; a strange swordsman walks out of the Time Vault and reveals he is responsible for the alterations to history and reveals he apparently plans to absorb them. Drawing his sword, the enigmatic swordsman says bye-bye to Tomoma as his blade emits energy causing a flash of white light.

Suddenly Tomoma finds himself standing in the Time Nest with Chronoa, Tokitoki, Elder Kai, Trunks: Xeno, and Ace staring at them inquiring if he is alright seemingly unaware of what Tomoma just experienced. Chronoa and Elder Kai assume he was just daydreaming and Chronoa tells him to pay attention as they are dealing with a serious situation. Chronoa explains dangerous new Time Rifts have appeared that have brainwashed all the Patrollers sent to investigate them. Trunks: Xeno explains that he and Ace have their hands full keeping the afflicted Time Patrollers contained thus they are unable to check the rifts. Chronoa and Elder Kai assign Tomoma to investigate the matter as his experience with Time Rift anomalies and altered histories should make him invulnerable to the brainwashing. Trunks: Xeno however questions the wisdom of sending him in alone noting the rifts are unlikely to be natural and that whoever is behind them is probably behind the alterations made to history after Towa and Mira's death in Age???. However, Chronoa reveals that was the first thing to cross her mind before revealing she discovered the rifts have started effecting Conton City's residents and surmises that someone from a different timeline won't be affected like the locals before calling to Goku (Tomoma's Master) to enter the Time Nest. He is surprised and happy to see him. Chronoa reveals she recruited Goku so there wouldn't be any issues working together as partners. Trunks: Xeno however worries it might alter history further but Chronoa reveals the rifts are separate from their current history so it’s safe. After Tomoma talks to Goku Chronoa and Elder Kai show them to the first Rift which has been transported to the Time Nest to protect Conton City's residents from being brainwashed. However, since all the investigation teams were brainwashed they have no idea what is inside the rift and Tomoma is warned to be ready for anything. Chronoa and Elder Kai will observe their progress from the Time Nest as usual.

Inside the rift, Tomoma and Goku find themselves in a void like space which Chronoa notes resembles the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Tomoma is overcome by the oppressive atmosphere causing Chronoa and Elder Kai realize it is where Whis sent Goku and Vegeta to train to master Godly ki which allowed them to attain Super Saiyan Blue. Elder Kai tells Tomoma and Goku how to control their ki to acclimate themselves to the divine energy that permeates this space which he quickly masters. Tomoma and Goku then witness God-like Saiyans Goku and Vegeta sparring with a shadowy figure the two Saiyans believe to be Whis. However, Tomoma is shocked to discover the shadowy figure is the mysterious swordsman from before. Elder Kai and Chronoa though unable to see his true form can tell he is an imposter posing as Whis. The imposter fights Tomoma and Goku during which the imposter recognizes them as Time Patrollers and introduces himself as Fu.

Fu claims he is not suspicious but Elder Kai retorts that is what a suspicious person would say. Chronoa accuses him of creating the rift and demands he free their Patrollers. However, Fu reveals he is not responsible and notes that altering history within the rift is safe as it is not connected to the history record in the Book of the Beginning and the End. Chronoa notes he is correct but stops herself from suggesting that altering history in the rift would be okay, asking how he knows that fact as it’s not common knowledge making Chronoa even more suspicious of Fu. Goku and Vegeta interrupt the fight and ask who the pair are and why their fighting Whis still unaware he is an imposter. Fu in his guise of Whis convinces Goku and Vegeta they are sparring partners he summoned which Goku and Vegeta by as both are eager to fight them after seeing them face off against the Whis imposter. Elder Kai notes both Saiyans have mastered Godly ki greatly increasing the power of their Super Saiyan forms and are close to acquiring Super Saiyan Blue. Chronoa notes that restoring the proper history should weaken the rift which should happen if they can get both to transform into Super Saiyan Blue. Fu reveals he came to study this historic moment but found the whole process boring and decides to spice things up by exposing the two God-like Super Saiyans to a large amount of Blutz Waves. Chronoa begs him to stop realizing what he is planning.

Suddenly, Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta are transformed directly into Super Saiyan 4 completely bypassing Golden Great Ape. They mistake the form for a new godly transformation while Elder Kai notes it is the wrong transformation. Chronoa reveals it is now virtually impossible to restore the original history to weaken the rift while Fu wishes Tomoma luck against two Super Saiyan 4s. As Chronoa begins to despair knowing it is impossible to restore the original history even if Super Saiyan 4s are defeated, Fu reveals he can absorb energy of the changes he makes revealing to Tomoma what happened to the Supreme Kai of Time Demigra altered timeline. Tomoma wins the battle causing Fu to absorb the history change energy. Tomoma, Goku, and Fu then appear in the Time Nest. Fu reveals that absorbing the energy caused the rift to disappear and the Time Patrollers it brainwashed should be free. Fu takes an interest in Tomoma's immense power and asks for a sample of his blood but disturbed by the odd request he refuses though Fu expected as much. Fu offers to help him in exchange for helping him alter history of the remaining rifts for his experiments though gives them time to think about it before fleeing as Chronoa comes racing out of the Time Vault followed by Elder Kai who struggles to keep pace with the ageless Chronoa. Chronoa is frustrated when she fails to catch him while Elder Kai comes up behind her coughing and wheezing from running after her in his old age.

While discussing Fu, Chronoa reveals they have no information on him or his motives. Elder Kai concludes Fu may have been telling the truth about someone else being behind the rifts. They debate about Fu's power to absorb rift energy as it would require the Time Patrol to aid Fu in altering history of the rifts which goes against everything the Time Patrol stands for creating a moral dilemma as the rift's history is safe to alter, though they are unsure if Fu can be completely trusted. Chronoa decides to leave the decision up to Tomoma as to whether that take Fu's offer or not as there are still more rifts to deal with.

Rycon's Rampage[]

Main article Rycon Saga

Tomoma was doing Parallel Quests when he received a call from Trunks: Xeno to report back to the Time Nest as soon as he was finished. Tomoma returned to the Time Nest where Chronoa informed him of a new change in history this time it wasn't a Time Breaker or even a Demon Realm inhabitant.... It was the Legendary Super Saiyan 4 Rycon who has a secret mission to eliminate all Saiyans as vengeance for his mother and father's deaths. Tomoma is tasked with sending back to his Planet. Chronoa sends Tomoma back to Age 780 after the Universal Conflict while he arrived minutes before Rycon attacked Earth, Elder Kai still tells him to be careful not to do anything that could affect history. Rycon arrives on Earth to find Goku and Vegeta flying to the scene (as they were alerted by Dende) and Rycon sees Goku and Vegeta. Rycon fights Super Saiyan 2 Goku and God-like Saiyan Vegeta. Gohan shows up at the scene only to find Goku and Vegeta defeated Tomoma shows up just as Gohan is ready to engage Rycon and asks Gohan to let him help, so Rycon yells to get their attention  saying that he likes the duo, and demands that they fight him and to show he’s serious he raises his power and destroys the outer shirt part of his Gi, Gohan powers up to his Ultimate form and Rycon yells to Tomoma to power up to his strongest form. And Tomoma knowing that Rycon is far weaker than his strongest form he transforms into a Super Saiyan 2 that has the power of Super Saiyan Blue. Rycon is amazed at Tomoma’s display of power stating that he can’t sense Tomoma’s power at all. And Tomoma says that he is in a world of power he’ll never know. So Tomoma and Gohan engage Rycon. The battle with Rycon continues with Gohan putting his full power into his attacks and Tomoma attacking him with Ki Blasts. Tomoma believes that he might have to call his team to assist him. With Gohan defeated and Tomoma on the brink of death all hope seemed lost….. and then the Planet was being shaken by a wild flow of power, the Supreme Kai even said that he hasn’t felt power like this since Goku first obtained Ultra Instinct -Sign-. Tomoma then rose to his feet in a form he hasn’t used in a long time: Super Saiyan 3 and with a serious look and demeanor he flew as fast as he could to Rycon and punched him as hard as he could and while it didn’t do any serious damage it was an effective blow. Tomoma then engages Rycon who powers up to full power to deal with what he calls an insect, Rycon powers up to Super Saiyan 4 so he could be equal to Tomoma, but Elder Kai says that his Super Saiyan 3 is having a unique effect on Tomoma’s Saiyan Power and is causing his overall power to skyrocket. And Tomoma delivers a massive Galick Gun which leaves Rycon in a fatigued state and as he clenches his left arm he teleports away he says: IT’S NOT OVER!!! Goku recovers and thanks him for his help. And Tomoma returns to the Time Nest where Chronoa congratulates him on his successful mission, but she notes that Rycon is still out there.

Planet Sadala Saga[]

Main Articles: Yamoshi, Super Saiyan God

A short while later while attempting to find where Rycon went, Chronoa informed Tomoma that there was an urgent mission that she needed done. It concerned the original Super Saiyan God Yamoshi, in the original timeline Yamoshi vanished after his power ran out. But after Fu granting Yamoshi more power he was able to complete his mission. Before Tomoma leaves she informs him to not use his Godly power or Super Saiyan (due to the forms not yet being used) but only use Kaio-Ken. He then travels back to 238 BA and witnesses Planet Sadala in complete chaos with Great Apes wreaking havoc on small villages. But then all of a sudden he sees six Saiyan performing the Super Saiyan God ritual, and then Yamoshi soars into the sky with his new power and rushes at the Great Apes being able to defeat seven of them in under a minute, but then notices Tomoma and invites him to join in (then Chronoa tells him to jump in) he then powers up Kaio Ken x3, he fights the Great Apes enough to make Yamoshi use up his Blue power and power down to God, then all of a sudden a Great Ape punches him and he vanished into thin air. With the timeline back to normal Chronoa tells him to head on back. He then teleports back to the Time Nest, where Chronoa congratulates him on his mission but warns him they still need to find Rycon.

Far Future[]

In Age 1000, The Time Patrol still flourishes thanks to the constant amount of new Patrollers who come in. But people like Ace and Trunks have since died of old age, Tomoma is still alive (thanks to his Healing Factor) however has since retired from fighting but has passed on his training to the new generation of fighters. He now lives on his own planet. Away from Earth and has become the strongest Saiyan in recorded history. To the Time Patroller's who came after him he is considered to be the Legendary Super Saiyan due to his accomplishments and his immense influence he had on the world around him.

Masters[]

Tomoma has trained under various historical characters from heroes, villains, and even divine beings. His masters are from all over Dragon Ball history like Whis and even Goku is very interested in training with him

Supreme Kai, I see in that young Saiyan what all masters dream of, raw untamable power.

~ Whis when telling Chronoa about how powerful Tomoma is

Instructors

List of Masters

Piccolo - Can be found near the entrance to the Time Nest and will offer to train Tomoma. Piccolo says that he knows Gohan trained him, so Piccolo started training the same way he training Gohan. According to Piccolo, Tomoma has immense latent potential he wonders if his new student has more potential than Gohan himself

Vegeta - Appears on a hill north of the Recreation Plaza where he will offer to train Tomoma. He teaches Tomoma his signature moves: the Galick Gun and The Final Flash. Vegeta said he was asked by Trunks to train Tomoma in the same way he trained him. But Vegeta seeing how much more powerful Tomoma is than Trunks was, he trained him harder. When Tomoma manages to achieve Super Saiyan as a result of Vegeta's training the latter calls Tomoma his greatest student, and that he is proud of how far he has come and hopes to see him grow the same way him and Kakarot (Goku) did.

Beerus - After completing the Battle of Gods Saga of the main story, Beerus will appear on the roof of Orange Star High School. He explains that he was asked by Elder Kai to help train members of the Time Patrol and decides it would be a good way to kill time, however he reveals that none of the Time Patrollers who tried managed to pass his test and were completely hopeless with no talent what so ever, though he thinks Tomoma might have a chance.  Tomoma asks Beerus to be his instructor, Beerus will start to refuse when he changes his mind, saying that if he claims to only take one student at a time, he can refuse requests to train other Time Patrollers.

Goku - After completing the main story, Goku will appear near Grandpa Gohan's house in the Bamboo Forest of Conton City. He will tell Tomoma that Chronoa asked him to train him but had no idea it would be Tomoma. Having heard everything about him from Chronoa, Goku is eager to train him as he will finally get a chance to fight Tomoma. Though Chronoa had already vouched for his strength, Goku states that he must test Tomoma to see if he is as strong as the Chronoa says, resulting in Goku's Initiation Test.

Bardock - Bardock is found near in the valley behind Grandpa Gohan's house standing near the lake in Conton City. Bardock is at first confused where he is and although he is currently nursing an injury, he offers to teach Tomoma one of his techniques leading to Bardock's Initiation Test. Afterwards Bardock prepares to leave, having fulfilled his end of the bargain but Tomoma silently insists he stay and train him more, so Bardock decides to put Tomoma through what he called Bardock's boot camp.

Whis - Whis can be found near Grandpa Gohan's house stand in front of the giant roasting fish in the Bamboo Forest district in Conton City. After the Future Trunks Saga, after reaching Level 90 and with Whis the Super Saiyan God transformation can be acquired by speaking to him.

Hit - Hit the assassin can be found in the middle of the World Martial Arts Tournament Arena in Conton City. Though Hit finds the idea of a Saiyan wanting to train under an assassin like him ridiculous, he will oblige them leading to Hit's Initiation Test. Completing the test will allow to Tomoma to train under Hit to learn various Time-Skip based skills. Tomoma had to pass all 6 Advancement Tests and graduated to to the Super Class to train under Hit.

Zamasu - Zamasu is found on a hillside overlooking the Dragon Ball Pedestal. He is disgusted by the mortal Tomoma and threatens to kill him. This leads to Zamasu's Initiation Test to train under him in which Tomoma must survive fighting against the immortal Future Zamasu and mortal Goku Black until the time runs out as Zamasu's health regenerates due to his immortality. After surviving his test, Zamasu is surprised to sense a faint amount of Godly ki coming from him and learns he works for the local Supreme Kais. He decides he will be of some use and he pledged his allegiance to him he will allow him to live, considering him to be a useful tool. His first two lessons resemble the Time Patrol Academy's Challenge Quests as they require him to uses the Super Skills he teaches in combos successfully to complete them. After completing his second Lesson, Zamasu makes Tomoma sit for 24 hours as he performs an initiation ritual to officially recognize him as his disciple. During his more straight forward final lesson, he teaches him his Ultimate Skill as a gift and welcomes him to godhood, though Zamasu realizes Tomoma was only playing along to learn from him and decides to punish him for his blasphemy, noting that he had made the same mistake of not immediately expunging mortals from existence as the other gods had failed to do but plans to correct his mistake by eliminating him, forcing Tomoma to use the skill to defeat him completing his final lesson.

Jiren - After Jiren found out about Tomoma, Chronoa wanted Jiren to train him and he agreed as he wanted to teach his own student just as his mastertaught him. Jiren told Chronoa to transport Tomoma to the Pride Troopers HQ in Universe 11. Upon arriving Tomoma bowed to Jiren as most Time Patrollers saw him as a great historical figure. Jiren told Tomoma that he knew Son Goku trained him and he said that his training his far harder than Goku's so he told him to forget anything that Goku taught him. Jiren literally trained Tomoma from the basics again, He taught Tomoma some of his signature moves such as the Power Impact, and the Power Rush. At the end of his training with Jiren, Jiren made Tomoma a honorary Pride Trooper. Whis noted that Tomoma's Ki became a lot more intense.

Power[]

Tomoma seems to be quite powerful, being able to take on most enemies with ease. Tomoma also seems to get many comments on his power throughout the story, mostly commenting on how his power is impressive, even godly entities such as Beerus and Whis stated that Tomoma is quite powerful and are impressed with his strength. When Tomoma attained Super Saiyan Blue, Whis mentioned that his power has surpassed the middle tier gods.

Even at a young age Tomoma was noted by his adoptive father Greg to be already stronger than him as he was able to defeat him when he was 7. While his power is off the charts, Paris says that his intelligence surpasses both his parents. (It should be noted that Paris has a Master of Science degree)

Tomoma’s power has impressed Whis to the point where he offered Tomoma to be the next candidate to be the next God of Destruction for Universe 7, meaning that Tomoma is on par with Beerus in terms of raw power. Whis even agrees to Chronoa's request to train Time Patrollers mainly so he can have the opportunity to train Tomoma as he had done previously with Goku and Vegeta both of whom Whis also considered potential God of Destruction candidates.

Tomoma was also able to kill Final Form Mira with a Kamehameha, which is quite impressive since Mira in his Final Form was strong enough to hold his ground and push back Full Power Super Saiyan Blue Goku. This means that Mira in his Final Form is at the very least on par with the power of Super Saiyan Blue, which may imply Tomoma is as well.

Zamasu was able to sense the ki of a god from Tomoma , meaning that Tomoma has Godly ki, this also very remarkable since before he completed his Divine Training, Tomoma was able to obtain Godly ki without having access to any Godly transformations. (Such as Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, Rose) However, Tomoma is quite capable of obtaining the powers of the gods that are derived from deities and mortals with godly transformations, Tomoma has even gain a level of power rivaling the gods themselves according to Whis upon reaching Patroller Level Z+ and completing Whis’ training Tomoma is able tounlocks the Super Saiyan Blue transformation for himself. At the end of the Infinite History saga, Tomoma can defeat Super Saiyan Blue Goku and then later Goku in his Ultra Instinct state to a standstill with some of Fu’s energy, stunning everyone.

Perhaps his most impressive feat of power is being able to fight evenly with Broly and a Full Power Jiren in a three-way fight while only in Super Saiyan and was able to come out of the fight with a small bruise, which shocked Fu as he had no idea Tomoma was capable of such power.

Goku also seems to be quite intrigued by Tomoma’s strength, and so is Chronoa.

Tomoma's Energy Barrier blocking Goku's Super Kamehameha

Barrier – A technique where energy is thrust out from the body in the form of a barrier with great force. The barrier can be used to both defend against oncoming projectiles and to expand and damage its surroundings. The barrier possesses twice the defense that Android 17's has, allowing him to use the barrier to completely nullify attacks from people who are equal to or lesser in power to him. During the Infinite History Saga, Tomoma displays great control of it and able to use it for more the blocking moves such as trapping people inside of it limiting their movements or wrapping it around his hands to boost his attacking power.

Saiyan Power - As a Saiyan, Tomoma possesses the Saiyan genetic trait that allows his power to continue to increase as he fights and rise dramatically after recovering from near fatal injuries.

Regenerative Healing Factor - An extremely rare trait among Saiyans, Tomoma can heal and regenerate all physical and mental harm to himself instantly. Any damaged area or lost anatomy will be completely restored with no lingering side effects in seconds, even forcing objects embedded out to heal properly. Even if he clinically dies, he can quickly resuscitate himself, making him near-immortal.

  • Ageless Longevity - Tomoma's healing factor keeps him from aging beyond his physical prime, having remained virtually unchanged despite being almost twenty two years old, he still looks like a teenager potentially able to live forever. In addition to prolonging his life, his overall health, prowess, and condition remain at its peak.
  • Disease/Contaminant Immunity - Tomoma is virtually immune to all viruses, diseases, and most poisons or toxins. Only the most potent of chemicals will affect him and only for a brief period before returning to normal.
  • Enhanced Vitality - Tomoma exhibits inexhaustible drive, willpower and stamina, able to continue his exertions far longer than any normal human while showing no signs of weakening or exhaustion. He is highly accustomed to pain, able to withstand most levels of it while only slightly fazing him. He also has great endurance, having continue fighting effectively after suffering several critical wounds while his healing powers were suppressed and likewise survives being shot with Death Beams by Frieza (who at the time was stronger than him).
  • Environmental/Weather Adaptation - Tomoma is able to survive and adapt to any environment or weather conditions without changing shape to adapt. Tomoma is able to survive at any temperature without discomfort. He can wear minimal clothing in sub-zero temperatures without any harm.
  • Psionic Resistance - Tomoma is extremely resilient, if not immune, to all but the most powerful of telepathic manipulation. As when he fought Hearts said that he couldn't read his mind.

Electrokinesis- Tomoma uses Alteration-type ki manipulation technique to alter his Ki into the shape of Lightning although he doesn't use it often when he does he uses it through his sword to give it more power. Tomoma can also manipulate his body's Bio-electricity to fire bolts of lightning through the palms of his hands.

Godly Ki - While its not clear when he was able to attain this level of power, Future Zamasu was able sense the ki of a god coming from him after he manages to survive his Initiation Test though states that it is faint during the test. Tomoma acquired this ability from training under Chronoa and Elder Kai (as well as other divine beings such Beerus and Whis). During Zamasu's final lesson, Zamasu welcomes the Tomoma to godhood (the state of being gods, but as Zamasu's Attendant.) After he completed his training with Whis, he spoke to him and he notices that his power has increased to the point that it may have even surpassed the gods themselves. He rewards his efforts by teaching him how to transform into Super Saiyan God. Then through Goku and Vegeta he learned how to mix his Godly ki with Super Saiyan which allows Tomoma to transform into his Super Saiyan Blue form allowing him to utilize the form's Godly ki.

Forms and Transformations

Super Saiyan

Tomoma is an extraordinarily powerful Saiyan so he is capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan. This form drains ki, but raises all stats, lowers damage taken, and makes it so all skills no longer consume ki but instead slows how much ki is generated from attacking and ki charging skills. Tomoma learned how to transform by defeating Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta.

Super Saiyan 2 - A powered up version of Super Saiyan. The version raises Tomoma’s power even higher and adds a Plasma Aura while slowing the generation of ki more than the basic Super Saiyan form.

Super Saiyan 3 Tomoma

Super Saiyan 3 - A more advanced version of Super Saiyan first unlocked by Goku while training in King Kai’s World. This version Tomoma’s hair grows out, gains a Plasma Aura, and raises his power even higher than Super Saiyan 2 while slowing the regeneration of ki more than Super Saiyan 2.

Potential Unleashed

After Tomoma completed his training with Chronoa and Elder Kai, Chronoa suggested that Elder Kai unlock Tomoma's potential. Elder Kai said that his ritual is the reward for Completing his training. So Elder Kai normally taking roughly a day to perform and complete the ritual by him, Tomoma's exceedingly immense dormant capacities required Elder Kai to continue for several more hours. Once finished, Tomoma was instructed to power up as if to transform into Super Saiyan - but to throw in a kiai while doing so. Upon doing so, Tomoma's form remained unchanged. Elder Kai then explained that he had harnessed so much power naturally, he didn't need to transform.

Elder Kai says It's might greatly exceeds the full power of Super Saiyan Blue Goku.

Super Saiyan God

Because of his Divine Training with Whis, Tomoma has achieved Super Saiyan God. Making him the Fourth Super Saiyan God after Yamoshi, Goku, Vegeta.

Beerus says that he is far stronger than Goku’s Super Saiyan God.

Super Saiyan Blue

Tomoma completed his training with Whis. Whis then taught the Super Saiyan God form to Tomoma , Then through additional training with Goku and Vegeta he learns how to mix his Godly ki with Super Saiyan which allows Tomoma to transform into his Super Saiyan Blue form allowing him to utilize the form's Godly ki.

Whis states Tomoma’s power now is beyond that of other gods in this state.

"Surpass your limits to protect those close to you! You will become more powerful than Super Saiyan Blue, but will also use much more Ki!"

— Time Patrol archives description

Tomoma achieved this form after Vegeta said that he was impresses with his immense growth and that he finds with only fair to teach him a power beyond even Super Saiyan Blue: Super Saiyan Blue Evolved, noting it is teaching him an even greater evolution. The form, while more powerful than Super Saiyan Blue, requires more ki to maintain it.

Super Saiyan Blue (Evolved)- 35% increase to damage across all stats, ki constantly drains but with minimal ki return per strike. Automatically reverts to base form if ki drains completely while transformed

Super Saiyan Rose

According to Future Zamasu because Tomoma has Super Saiyan Blue, he has the potential to transcend into Super Saiyan Rose if he has the position of a God (in the case of Tomoma : a God of Destruction). Zamasu states that if he was to gain Super Saiyan Rose his power will far exceed Goku Black's. Tomoma although wants to be a Destroyer he is yet to make his decision to transcend into true Godhood

When asked, Whis also claims that Tomoma could potentially surpass all 12 Destroyer Gods with said form

Equipment

Scouter

Time Machine

A Time Machine built by the Future Capsule Corporation. It is a redesign of the model used by Future Trunks, as the original time machine had a flaw in its design that produced alternate timelines, though with input from Chronoa a newer model was created that lacks this flaw and thus are safe for use by the Time Patrol. This Time Machine is used to access timelines that cannot be accessed via the time scrolls such as Time Fragment timelines featured in Parallel Quests. They are also used to transport Dragon Balls during Quests that involve collecting Dragon Balls. Tomoma uses the Time Machine mainly during Parallel Quests which can be accessed from the Reception Area.

Crimson Thunder

A sword given to Tomoma by Trunks: Xeno for both being his first student and graduating his Kikoukenjutsu Sword School. Just like Trunks, Tomoma can generate Ki though his sword. Through special modifications with help from Chronoa and Bulma, Tomoma’s sword can enhance his already immense power, can focus Tomoma’s advanced Electrokinesis, the inside of the hilt and blade contains Godly ki, holds a small amount of nanites that can shape the sword into different shapes controlled by Tomoma’s scouter, Due to it being of Godly origin the sword can only be sensed by Tomoma’s fellow Deities. In addition to all the special modifications, to prevent it from being stolen, Chronoa placed a special enchantment that prevents anyone that isn’t either a Deity or Tomoma himself from wielding it.
