Theodosius (テオドシウス, Teodoshiusu) is an artificial intelligence created by Dr. Brief who serves as a member of the Starchasers. He originally was programmed to operate within Ledas' gravity training unit, but later generations were upgraded to be able to pilot Mrovian transports. He existed mainly to provide intelligence reports to the members of the Starchasers about the planets they were traveling to, the bounties they were seeking, and any relevant information that would be useful for helping them capture those bounties. He is introduced in the West City Saga of Dragon Ball: Heart of the Dragon.

Personality[]
Theodosius is a rather dry artificial intelligence. He rarely expresses emotions, though he is loquacious when describing things, often to the annoyance of his teammates. He rarely second-guesses anyone, except when it could be life-threatening for them to not reconsider something. He is a thorough and fast-acting AI who is not prone to making mistakes. When he does make mistakes, he appears to emit a small amount of shame, though that may just be due to his programming.

On June 4th, Age 774, Bulma and Ledas set out on Ledas' gravity training unit to visit Planet Frieza 173. Bulma installed an artificial intelligence, Theodosius, into the computer to pilot for her. Theo indicated that the ship's fuel reserves were sufficient to reach their destination and set them off on their journey.
On June 6th, Ryori, Chiaki, Ledas, Hachi, Chiwan, Tabashi, Azashi, and Ippi entered Ledas' gravity training unit in Chiaki's backyard. Theodosius greeted them, asking if Ledas wanted to train or return to Planet Frieza 173. When Chiwan asked where that planet was, Ryori tried to lie that Theo was malfunctioning, but Ledas firmly told them the truth. Chiwan wanted to see Earth from space first, so Ledas gave the command to Theo. Everyone strapped in to their seats and the AI piloted the ship into the sky.
In orbit around Earth, the kids unbuckled from their seats, Hachi falling to the floor and vomiting profusely. Ledas asked Theo to clean it up. The AI sent out a pair of CLEAN-BOTs to deal with the mess. Everyone moved to the looking window. Chiwan teared up, overcome with emotion. Ippi recorded a video for her TikTok. They were struck by how bright Earth was in the sea of black. Ledas told them that it was one of the most vibrant planets he'd ever visited. Ryori didn't want him to say that, but Ledas rebuked him, stating that their friends knew Ledas had a spaceship, so they had to expect he'd been to other planets before. He wasn't going to treat them like they were stupid.
Chiwan realized Ledas was an alien. Ledas said to him they were the aliens. Chiaki asked if he was Goku's son. Ledas knew Goku but wasn't related to him. He explained they were Saiyans. He recounted how Planet Vegeta had been destroyed by Frieza, thus they had come to Earth to find a new home. Ledas said he loved the climate of Earth. Chiwan hugged him, empathizing with him for losing his homeworld. She said Earth could be his new home and he was welcome to live out his life with them. Hachi called her cheesy for saying that, but she didn't care.
Ledas asked them where they wanted to go next. Tabashi suggested Jupiter. Ledas ordered Theo to take them there.
On June 20th, Anraku and his girlfriend took a ride on Ledas' gravity training unit. Theodosius prepared them for takeoff, but they were nevertheless nervous. Once in space, Anraku's girlfriend threw up all over the floor. Theo directed her downstairs to the shower while CLEAN-BOTs removed the mess. She ran off. Anraku moved to the looking window, taking pictures of Earth from space before following her to the shower as Theo set off to Jupiter.
That night, after Anraku and his girlfriend returned, Ledas trained on his ship at 450g. After finishing, he went downstairs, grabbing a bottle of kiwi juice as he prepared to take a shower. He noticed a torn condom wrapper at the end of the bed. Annoyed at Anraku, he asked Theo to initiate a deep clean and replace the sheets as he walked off, incinerating the condom wrapper with a ki blast.
Chasers Can't Be Choosers[]
In the first scene of chapter 1, on June 25, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa visited the Moxabalan Asteroid Belt. This was three days after capturing their first bounty together, Lily-Livered Lugabalos, who had commanded a bounty of ₩7,500,000. Theo informed them that the asteroid belt contained many restaurants. In celebration of their recent success, Ledas asked him to consult Space Yelp and take them to the highest-rated restaurant. Theo piloted them to the parking lot of Salty Salpico.
In the second scene, a few minutes later, Theodosius tracked Akashiyaki through space. Beelzebub was at the command console, watching this go down while Carawa played on his Switch on the couch and Ledas and Ryori set up the massage table. Theo stated that Akashiyaki was headed to Chelbalos, which was located 5.3 light-years away. He estimated they'd reach the planet in approximately four hours.
Beelz asked for a rundown of the planet and a close-up of Akashiyaki's ship. Theo provided the close-up. Beelz told everyone else to remember what that looked like. Ledas was nonchalant, soaking in his massage, barely paying attention. Ryori found that most endearing. Theo gave them a run-down of the planet, noting that the city of Torgbos was a dry town. Halcuria, the only other city on the planet, was a casino town that featured many bars and Nil lounges.
In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, while searching for Akashiyaki in Torgbos, Ledas received an update on his datapad that stated ₩500,000 had been added to the octopus' bounty due to an incident at a nearby restaurant called Blowback’s Soup and Chowder Emporium. Ledas flew over to the restaurant, Theodosius guiding him via the datapad. Later, when the group left Chelbalos, Beelzebub booted up Theo as they took off, asking for them to be taken to the nearest planet. Harbolian was located 2.4 light-years away and had a sizeable population, so they set their sights there.
In the second scene of chapter 3, on June 26, Age 776, Ledas, Ryori, Beelzebub, and Carawa entered the Great Palgam Bocchi Festival on Harbolian, which was in full swing and packed with people. During the festivities, Beelzebub ran across rival bounty hunters Cavatel and Saccottine again, fighting them off (and eventually killing them). Ledas watched the fight, not noticing Akashiyaki slip away from his grip until after Beelzebub won the fight. Ryori knew Ledas had been distracted by watching the fight. The bounty must have just gotten away.
They heard a roar in the sky and watched Akashiyaki's ship disappear into space. Ledas threw the capsule containing his spaceship, and the group quickly ran inside. Theodosius appeared at the central console. Beelzebub ordered him to pursue Akashiyaki at once. Theo took command of the ship. They took off, leaving Harbolian, and pursued Akashiyaki through space.
In the first scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed on Dalon IV after following Akashiyaki to the city of Whalupalavu. Theo provided support for Beelzebub, Ledas, and Ryori in their Bluetooth communicators. Ledas used him to get info about the Great Tataboan Hotel. In the second scene, Theo helped Ryori translate the menu at Tabo Kavor Ablorne so that he and Carawa could order.
Country Matters[]
In the first scene of this story, Bulla and Chari took refuge in Ledas' gravity training unit. Theodosius greeted them. Chari requested bots to dry the two of them off and a bed for them to sleep in, all of which Theo provided instantly. After Bulla accidentally broke Chari's nose and Olivien arrived, the boy ordered Theo to bring him bandages and tissue paper so that he could clean his sister's face. He then ordered Theo to prepare glasses of water for the girls so they wouldn't get hangovers in the morning. Afterwards, Theo powered down, though he continued to monitor Chari and Bulla's vital signs.
