The Lookout Crew were the leaders and protectors of the universe, sworn to protect the universe from harm and destruction. As time passed the Z-Fighters died out, so the Lookout Crew was formed and as the New Z-Fighters. They took their place as the protectors of everything, their successors. The LCrew's successors were the Neo Lookout Crew.
Throughout the history of Earth, the Z-Fighters once protected it. Now, over 250 years after the end of Dragon Ball GT, many of their descendants and much more live on to form the crew. Since the crew was created on 8 May 1040, many have died and many have replaced them; either their children or just anyone. They have lasted for nearly 100 years and faced many great universal threats and have went through many things. There have been hundreds of members in its lifetime, all each diverse in their own way. The universal protectors live on. The multiverse had a great reboot/retcon in Age 1125 following the defeat of Ninthalor during the Great Universal Revolution, serving as the catalyst that ended the Lookout Crew's reign after 85 years as protectors of the multiverse.

After the Z-Fighters disbanded and most of them died off in the hundred years following Dragon Ball GT, Earth and the universe was left without sufficient protectors. Goku Jr. was soon born and became a great influence on Earth, and helped usher it into a whole new age of modernism and thinking. As the Age 1000s approached, long after GJ's death, tensions began boiling around the universe as new threats began popping up rapidly. On 8 May Age 1040, coincidentally, a group of very powerful warriors from very different backgrounds, met on the Lookout. They realized their uniquity and decided to form as a group to help protect Earth.
Over the course of 85 years, long and full of many struggles and adventures, crew members came and went, and they became increasingly stronger and stronger. Once SSJ4 level, they were now on universal level and more. They gained free access to Other World due to needing it so much. Many of them ascended to Godhood. The LCrew became a very dominant, influental, and prominent figure across not only the universe, but the entire multiverse. After playing a key role in the Great Universal Revolution in Age 1125, they disbanded as a group and went on their own paths, as individuals, but their legacy would live on..
