The History of the Decline and Fall of the Planet Trade Organization is an expansive historical look at the Planet Trade Organization's final years. It consists of a collection of first-hand accounts of those serving in the organization, and details many of the political and militaristic actions taken during the vast empire's fall. Because of the nature of these accounts, and with the territory of the Planet Trade Organization being as large as it is, there is rarely a unifying villain or plot. This history is published in six volumes, with each volume beginning a new important phase of the fall of the greatest, most expansive empire to ever exist in the Dragon Ball universe.
Volume I[]
Volume I consists of accounts leading up to Frieza's departure to Planet Namek. 20 chapters.
Volume II[]
Volume II consists of accounts starting post-Namek. This section begins the period of time where Cooler took sole reign of the Planet Trade Organization. Several soldiers of King Cold persist, and their accounts confirm that he was killed on Earth with Frieza during this volume. 20 chapters.
Volume III[]
Volume III consists of accounts of what happened after Cooler left for Earth and never returned. Nitro, the brother of Cooler and Frieza, tried to rule as a galactic king during this time as the surviving members of his family, imperial governors, and military generals from the other regions of the former Planet Trade Organization desperately fought with one another to gain power and wealth. 25 chapters.
Volume IV[]
Volume IV consists of accounts documenting Icer's rule of the Planet Trade Organization up until its total fracturing in Age 777. In this volume, empires will rise and fall, galactic trade routes will be destroyed, and trillions of lives will be lost. This volume, the last in the series, shows not only the fall of the Planet Trade Organization, but of order in general within the universe. 30 chapters.
