About the Comic[]
DBVS is a collaborative effort between long term manga partners Young Jijii and Omada Naoyuki. It provides a potential explanation (however farfetched) for how Goku Black achieved his Super Saiyan Rosé transformation in the anime.
It was originally designed to be a two book series, but has since extended to 3 volumes with plans to continue the concept at a later date.
Prologue[]
It's told from the perspective of Goku Black (from the TV anime) after his initial confrontation with Son Goku he is flung back into Future Trunks' timeline. After some deliberation he decides to travel to a different timeline using the ring of time he was given by Gowasu. This leads him to the GT timeline where he encounters GT Goku and decides to fight him in order to further his own evolution.
