The Star Team (originally Alpha Team) is an all-human special forces unit. They were founded on Age 741, the same year the Earth Defense Fighters were founded. The Star Team consisted of the Strongest Humans on Earth. From Age 741 to 772 there were a total of 20 members that joined and 6 that were KIA. The Star Team were the first enter and the last to leave. They mainly took on higher threat levels like: Piccolo, Frieza, Hanasia, and Miller. They also represent the United Earth Alliance. The original Leader was Mercury from 741 – 749. With the expansion of the Star Team, they were divided into two teams. Star Team Alpha and Beta. Kendra was Leader of Star Team Alpha from Age 749 - 760, while Yamcha was Star Team Beta. Yamcha soon became Leader of Alpha from Age 760 onward while Chi-Chi leads Beta.
