Spike returns in Dragon Ball AF as one of the villains controlled by Demon Puppeteer, Mr. Wages. Mr. Wages controls Spike and sends him out to fight all the strongest fighters. He fights Yamcha and Tien whom before request for Super Saiyan strength from Jamie to which he grants and they transforms into Super Saiyans and then Ascended Super Saiyans, they fuse into Ascended Super Saiyan Tiencha and manage to defeat him. Spike was later placed onto the Demon Fusion tablet with Dabura where they both become Diablo.
