Sharpner (シャプナー) is a Earthling that first appeared in Dragon Ball z during the Great Saiyaman Saga who attended Orange Star High School in Satan City. In Dragon Ball SF, Sharpner is married to Panchy and the father of Geno.

Great Saiyaman, World Tournament and Kid Buu Saga:[]
Sharpner first appears in Dragon Ball Z during the Great Saiyaman Saga. He is first seen along with Videl and Eraza as Gohan is introduced to the entire class. Later during gym, he witnessess Gohan unusual powers as they play baseball. he later advises to Gohan that he should join a club, but Gohan declines the offer.
During the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai, it is revealed that he is in love with Videl when he gives Videl some flowers and tries to explain his feelings. However his attempt fails when Great Saiyaman appears. shortly afterwards he makes serveral attempts to unmask Saiyaman but fails. Much later during the Tournament. he witnesses Videl's lost to Spopoivch and Gohan's true identity as he is revealed to be the Great Saiyaman and the Gold Fighter.

Sharpner was presumably killed when Super Buu annihilated all the humans on earth, though he was later restored to life with the Dragon Balls. He was seen giving up energy for Goku's Super Spirit Bomb, along with Erasa and the others at the school, all cheering for Mr. Satan, whom they thought they were giving their energy to.

During the 32nd Tenkaichi Budokai, As Maaku prepares to fight against Mongo a flashback sequence is shown. A flashback sequence, Show Sharpner and his family (Papera and Geno) observing the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai in Age 784. They witness Pan’s match against Wild Tiger.
