The Schools of Martial Arts in Dragon Ball Keisho 継承 (ドラゴンボール継承, Doragon Bōru Keisho), are the three major dojos that martial artists of Earth choose to continue the warrior's path through. Each school has their own unique styles and philosophies and are rivaled against each other, with top prodigies of each school typically clashing against each other in editions of the Tenkaichi Budokai, the most prestigious martial arts tournament on the planet. Each school has their own primary dojo location and a "Hermit", the term for the school's master and figurehead responsible for the growth of all enlisted martial artists.

The average age of these schools tends to be in the teenage to early adult years, although some students may be even younger, some even reaching into the single digits.

TurtleSchool

Turtle School[]

The Turtle School is a martial arts school founded by Master Roshi and is now currently led by Master Kashi. The Turtle School heavily focuses on a strict routine that ensures maximum discipline, with members of the dojo all abiding by a dress code of an orange gi uniform. The dojo also heavily focuses on signature techniques such as the Kamehameha.

Their headquarters are located at Kame House, a residency on an island in the South District of Earth. The most notable members historically are Son Goku, Krillin (who Master Kashi is a descendant of), and Yamcha. The current most notable members are Kenji, Mina, and Bruce Kanji. Out of the three major schools, the Turtle School is the most historic and has been a staple in the martial arts world for several centuries.

CraneStyle

Crane Style Dojo[]

The Crane Style Dojo is a martial arts school founded by Tien Shinhan and is now currently led by Master Iguru. The Crane Style Dojo heavily focuses on adaptability and surprise in battle, with most techniques forming around the possibility of confusing or catching an opponent off-guard.

Their headquarters are located at Eagle's Den, a large compound of temples surrounding Eagle Waterfall of East District. The most notable members historically are Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu. The current most notable members are Kenju Zu, Kai Satori, and Tokiro. Out of the three major schools, the Crane Style Dojo is the most feared as its' members are by far the most unpredictable in battle, with morality not being an avid part of their philosophy.

WolfStyleDojo

Wolf Style Dojo[]

The Wolf Style Dojo is a martial arts school founded and led by Master Renji for the first portion of the series. The Wolf Style Dojo is seen as the most "free-form" out of the three styles, fighting in what is known as the "Okami Jinsoku-Ryū", a style heavily based on the art of reading an opponent and waiting for the right opportunity to strike, favoring quick precise strikes over brute strength. Specific techniques are not taught, with each student expected to find their own way.

Their headquarters are located at a large group of temples on Korogaku Island, an island a few miles away from Papaya Island. The dojo is the youngest of the three major schools, forming roughly fifty years before the events of Dragon Ball Keisho. The current most notable members are Jin Judoka, Sei-Sen, and Hoshi. After the events of the Jinryu Saga in Dragon Ball Keisho, the dojo's new leads were the top students Jin Judoka and Sei-Sen.
