Thinking back on everything that had happened, the young queen of thieves sighed. She had finally gotten her revenge. But now, she had no idea what to do. Seeking her revenge was her life. Raising many of the felines, becoming a tomb robber, meeting Bakura and Sekhmet, and what had happened last night were all caused by her need for revenge. But what was there left? A rustle came from the reeds as Bastet and Diabound suspiciously climbed toward the others and Sekhmet gave her sister a knowing smirk. She giggled to herself. Bastet was hilarious when she was embarrased.
Bakura stared at his queen. He was also amused. He never knew that Diabound had feelings toward the goddess. But there was something about the Thief Queen that made him think of that playful girl he had known in Kul Elna. She looked up. "What?"
"You just remind me of this girl I knew. She was like you, minus the love of violence and scars, and she had light gray hair instead of white"
"Wait. Did she have a brown furry belt?"
"How did you know?"
"She was scared that you would be afraid she might be a demon." She shifted closer and purred into his ear."I was afraid."
Purring in reply, Bakura whispered "Well, if you are, you're my demon."
"So what do we do now?"
A little, white, fluffy cat with two wings and a snake tail bounded behind Bastet, trying to keep up."We could follow their example and start a life together." They leaned closer.
"Hate to say it, but it isn't going to happen."
Alert, the King and Queen of Thieves turned to the source. The queen stepped up. "Is that a challenge?"
The black haired warrior stepped up. "It is."
