Raditz is a mid-class Saiyan, the biological brother of Goku and the eldest son of Bardock.

Raditz's appearance consists of extremely long, spiky black hair with a prominent widow's peak, brown and black-coloured Battle Armour in the same style as the rest of Frieza's soldiers, with boots, armoured gloves, white bands around his left arm and left leg (red in Anime), and a scouter that is blue.

After being revived by Towa and was given a new outfit which consisted of brown-tipped boots identical to the boots worn by Xeno Vegeta, brown and black-coloured armoured gloves resembling the cuffs of Xeno Vegeta's gloves, black pants, brown and black-coloured armour also similar to Xeno Vegeta, and white bands around his arms.

While posing as a Double Agent after he "defected" from the Time Breakers; he began wearing an outfit more akin to the Battle Armou worn by Frieza's soldiers in Age 780. However, following his true defection and his desire to train until the day he could face-off against Goku; Raditz began wearing a brown and black variation of the armour worn by Vegeta complete with the Time Patrol symbol.

Raditz was the first target of Demigra's distortion which he intended to use the energy to free himself. Raditz was defeated and killed by Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon.

He was later revived by Towa and recruited into the Time Breakers. Towa later met with him along with Nappa, Past Vegeta, Past Ginyu, Future Slug, Slug, and Slug after Mira and Towa introduced themselves to Dial and Vegeta. Slug was able to receive the power that he once had when he and Katas were one while Past Ginyu was able to gain full access to Goku's body abilities and power. Along with the final wish to give everyone except Slug the ability to overpower True Form Frieza.

Past Ginyu, Past Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz were later all at Towa's Hideout being trained by Mira (Dragon Ball Advanced). The harsh training was able to help them prove even beyond what they were expecting and even more so when Mira managed to get them angry enough to transform into Super Saiyan

He was personally trained by Mira along with Nappa, Turles, and Slug and as a result of the training - Raditz became just as powerful as Semi-Perfect Cell. However, after a wish granted to Mira - his power surpassed Super Perfect Cell.

Super Saiyan

Thanks to rigorous and harsh training from Mira as well as intense rage at Mira threatening to destroy Planet Vegeta before he, Nappa, Past Vegeta, and the original owner of Past Ginyu's body were born which prompted them to transform into Super Saiyan. However, the cost of using Shocking Surge Rush is that Raditz will experience a cardiac arrest quicker than the standard Surge Rush state. The aura gains red bio-electricity streaks and the aura's radiance becomes more rapid.
