Planet Frieza 256 is a Planet Trade Organization-controlled world. It is in Lord Frieza's territory. It is located in Universe 6 and Universe 7.
History[]
Universe 6[]
Frost kidnapped Dr. Rota and brought him to this world for treatment, as he didn't want anyone to know that he needed medical attention. Rota successfully treated him for a parasite in the small of his back. Afterwards, the two left the world and never returned.
Universe 7[]
Planet Cooler 256 was a dry, windy, desert-like planet. It was inhabited by a race of peaceful aliens who were just beginning to develop atomic energy power when Prince Vegeta and Ledas were sent to conquer it for Lord Frieza. They easily destroyed all of the inhabitants and vaporized their cities. However, afterwards, the two Saiyans were attacked by several aliens sent by Zarbon to test the boys. After an intense battle, they were able to kill the aliens.
After they left the planet, Frieza ordered it to become a refueling station for space pods and larger ships alike. It maintains a modest garrison to protect the fueling lines.
In Age 778, Somen visited this world and found a guy who had crash-landed in the dunes. The alien was busy having sex with his android companion, so Somen left.
Notable facts[]
- The space pirates think that this planet is uninhabited because there is only one (relatively) small palace and a small garrison of soldiers on the planet. As such, they never decided to raid the world. Had they known that there was a wealthy alien vacationing on it, they would surely have attacked.
- The sand winds on this planet can reach up to 200 miles per hour, which will damage normal buildings. The natives and the alien buyer were forced to construct special buildings with protective guards to combat the wind.
- In Universe 6, this planet appears to be abandoned, though it is not part of Frost's Empire.
