Planet Frieza 223 is a Planet Trade Organization-controlled world. It is in Lord Frieza's territory.

History[edit | edit source]

Planet Frieza 223 was a dry world located in Frieza's territory. It was a mostly arid, desert-like world, though it had small patches of tropical forests and small polar icecaps. It was claimed by Frieza, and he sent a detachment of Saiyans to conquer it for him. Frieza didn't want the planet for himself, so this planet was always meant to be sold on the galactic market. Layeeck took his son Ledas to the planet for the boy's first mission. There, Ledas, Layeeck, and his team destroyed the native population and their territories with relative ease. The team was forced to transform into Great Ape to conquer the planet, however. Once the group had eradicated the native species and vaporized their many towns and cities, they left the planet.

Afterwards, it was given a single outpost and much of the world was used for rare mineral mining. This planet had large deposits gold, silver, and cobalt on it, making it one of the more valuable mining worlds in Frieza's empire.

Notable facts[edit | edit source]

  • This is the first planet, aside from Planet Vegeta, that Ledas had ever been to.
  • Ledas killed his first alien on this planet.
  • This planet's appearance was largely based off of the appearance of New Arcose in the Dragon Ball Z anime.
