The Piccolo's revenge arc is the Ninth story of Dragonball Revision and the last arc of the demon King saga. It features Goku and the other Z-Fighters joining the 23rd tenkaichi budokai in preparation for their inevitable rematch against the Infamous Demon King "Piccolo".

Story[]

News about the end of King Piccolo’s reign is spread across the country with Much celebration, although it came with a Price. Since Shenron is dead, Nobody that was killed in this era of nightmares cannot be brought back. Luckily, It seems that Goku has an idea that could help reverse the damage caused by the demon king. The main group drive towards the sacred land of Korin via Yajirobe hover-car. Along the way, Goku decides to explain about his plan to reach the Lookout and get Kami’s help. This shocks them quite a bit as they realize Goku has actually met GOD and seems so nonchalant about it. Sometime later, the group arrives at the sacred land of Korin.

Goku proceeds to climb up the tower at breakneck speeds and everyone follows behind, although it does appear to be very difficult for them. Eventually, the party reach the top of the tower and encounter Korin. He has a sneaking suspicion on why there are here and offers to help. Launch initially believes that Korin is Kami, But the fat cat debunks this and says that Kami is high above this place. Goku wonders if there's a way to reach the Lookout as his flying nimbus cannot fly everyone up there, which Korin confirms. He believes that there was some type of ancient rod created during the medieval period that could extend a very long distance, although he believes that Humans discarded that weapon centuries ago. Goku recognizes that his power pole can extend long distances and tries to reach for it, although it appears that he doesn't have it. Luckily, Launch had managed to salvage the power pole from that battlefield before they left and handed it to goku.

Korin is intrigued by their idea and asks Goku to demonstrate. He obliges and shouts “Power pole: extend”, causing the rod to extend half-way across the Atlantic ocean. Goku recalls the extended rod and shakes violently when the power pole returns to his hand. Korin remarks that the power pole must be a more advanced variation of that weapon and believes that it can do the job. He decides to guide everyone up to the peak of his tower and asks Goku to place the power pole within this centre-pier. He obliges and Shouts “Power pole: extend!”. All of his friends manage to grab the power pole whilst it moves upwards, until it suddenly stops with a loud “tang” sound being heard from above. The trip upwards isn’t very pleasant as they have to try their hardest not to get struck by lightning on the way up. Surprisingly, Yamcha's has actually having the easiest time in climbing the pole. Eventually, The group arrives on the surface of Kami’s domain and are quite surprised at its appearance. They also find it a bit hard to breathe due to the attitude, but it's nothing they can’t handle. Everyone is then greeted by Mr. Popo and Kami, With Goku introducing his friends to the godly figures.

Kami reveals that he already knew about their arrival and accepts their proposal to revive the dragon balls, but only under one condition. He sensed that Goku never truly finished off the Demon king and believes that Piccolo is close to returning, which shocks everyone. However, Kami isn't too worried as Goku's "Nuova form" should be more then enough to take him down. In fact, his condition is that he wants Goku to train upon the Lookout in order to control this power and defeat Piccolo in the 23rd tournament. Goku accepts the invitation and Kami agrees to revive the dragon balls. Mr. Popo brings out a jar containing a fixed stone statue of a dragon and Kami decides to showcase his craft. He raises a finger upwards and fills it with magical energy, before tapping the glass container with the energized finger. This causes the statue to slowly regain its Color before being enveloped by a bright light, with 6 streaks of light being sent off into the dragon balls down below.

Meanwhile at Kame house, Bulma notes that the Dragonballs have become active once more. She, along with the “Help” of Oolong, manage to gather the dragonballs. Unfortunately, they will need Goku in order to summon The eternal ragon due to him possessing a dragon ball and so they head on over to the sacred land of Korin. This takes a bit of a while and Kami admits that its certainly an awkward situation they got themselves in. He ponders for a moment and wonders if he could severe the 4-star dragon ball from the ritual, meaning that only 6 dragon balls would be required. Regardless, he teleports Goku back to the ground and the group summon Shenron. Bulma wonders how they should word their wish, with Yamcha deciding to wish for EVERYONE Killed by the demon king and his lackies to be revived. This ends up working as Krillin, Chiaotzu, Emperor shen and All of the other victims rising from their graves. For some reason, it appears that Roshi isn't getting up and dosen't seem to have been revived.

Back on the lookout, Kami can sense that all of Piccolo’s victims have been revived but also has to deliver the bad news. He reveals that Master Roshi has chosen not to be revived and will remain in otherworld, since he believes that he has nothing left to teach and that it's time for the next generation to take over. Goku is quite tearful about Master Roshi's decision and the others are also quite saddened, But they agree to keep Roshi's promise and Vow to protect their world from serious threats. Regardless, Kami offers the group to leave via Mr. Popo’s magic carpet as Goku begins his training. The Other Z-Fighters also return to their forms of Training. Yamcha and Krillin train together most of the time, but Yamcha usually trains by himself in the wilderness. Tenshinhan is also keeping up with his training and now benefits from it more since Launch is there as a sparring partner.

3 Years later, The 23rd tenkaichi Budokai officially commences. Launch is the first ones to arrive and have brought a little umbrella as it's currently raining. The time soon passes and everyone she are waiting for seems to be late, Which starts to test her patience. Shortly afterwards, Bulma and Oolong arrive on the scene in quite the hurry and they apologize for the wait as “traffic was killer”. Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Upa, Chiaotzu and Puar are the next Group to show up and also apologize for the wait since they grabbed some food on the way here. Tenshinhan, Chiaotzu and Puar still look the same as 3 years ago, but Yamcha has grown a full beard and Krillin is now grown up. They are very happy to see that (almost) everyone is here and are quite surprised with their growth. Regardless, Yamcha seems to notice that they are missing one more Person from their roster.

Just then, Bulma notices that a Young girl seems to be having trouble with catching her balloon. She also appears to be having some trouble herself until a rather tall man with a familiar voice manages to grab the balloon and hands it to the girl. This surprises the Group as a familiar person approach them and speaks up, Which confuses them as Upa asks for his name. The man realizes that they properly can't recognize him because of his Turban and proceeds to take it off, revealing that the tall man is actually GOKU. Everyone is quite stunned by his appearance and are very excited to see him again, with Krillin being grateful about his revival. Goku is curious on who the new girl is and Krillin introduces her to Mint, with Goku being happy for his best friend. Puar questions where Goku’s tail has disappeared and Goku proceeds to unwrap it from his waist, revealing that hes able to wear it like a belt now.

Regardless, Goku gets serious and reveals that there's a reason why he came to participate in the tournament, aside from really liking fighting. It Appears that Piccolo's is intending to fight in the tournament, which shocks everyone. Tenshinhan is a bit confused as Piccolo absolutely DESPISED martial artists and questions why Piccolo would even participate, with Goku believing that Piccolo wants revenge against him for his previous defeat. Launch realizes that it would be a catastrophe if anybody else finds out that the demon king is participating, with all of them agreeing to keep it a secret. Goku, Krillin, Upa, Chiaotzu and Tenshinhan all finish their sign-ups for the tournament as they wait for the actual event next morning. Krillin is a little confused on where they will stay for the night but Bulma reveals that she actually reserved a few spots for them at a nearby hotel.

In the hotel room, Goku is taken off all his thick clothing and reveals his new gi to the group. It appears to be an Primarily white Gi with a Black undershirt, A Hexagonal shaped Symbol with the Kanji for "GOD" on his back, a purple belt, Long white wristbands and his signature blue shoes. Krillin wonders if Goku decided to get a costume change to impress anyone in particular and Goku confirms that its actually just his new Training outfit to represent his new Master Kami. He'll be wearing this outfit for the entire Tournament.

The Next day, The elimination rounds Officially begin. The participating group (Goku, Yamcha, Krillin, Tenshinhan And Chiaotzu) take notice of Piccolo showing up. He appears to be wearing some type of white cape and a red turban as if to disguise himself. Piccolo notices the group and gives off an evil chuckle in their direction. Everyone is put on guard by his appearance and nod in agreement. Just then, a beautiful young woman with red hair taps Goku on the shoulder and Greets him with a loving smile. However, Goku doesn't seem to recognize this mystery woman and This makes her somewhat angry. She proceeds to leave without telling Goku who she is. Krillin is a bit distressed by her appearance and is now under the impression that Goku had spent the last 3 years hanging around women rather than training. Yajirobe, who is wearing a disguise, is also present at the tournament is is sneaking around in order to avoid Goku. Chiaotzu rigs the Numbers using his telekinesis per Tenshinhans request, which means that none of them have to fight each other in the preliminaries.

The elimination rounds begin with Goku, Who is put in a rematch against King Chappa like the previous tournament. This calls the attention of His friends, Piccolo and the mystery girl to see his increased strength. King Chappa prepares to attack yet Goku stands completely still, which actually intimidates King Chappa. The group notes that Goku seems to have a clear mind and King Chappa feels that Goku is practically in-control. He charges forward to deliver a powerful Punch, but Goku moves incredibly fast out of the way. With that, he simply defeats King Chappa with one tiny little chop to the neck. This doesn't come as a surprise to his friends and the Mystery girl, although Piccolo is rather intrigued with Goku’s strength.

Tenshinhan, Goku, Yamcha, Piccolo and the mystery girl have all passed onto the next round. However, it appears that Chiaotzu was brutally defeated by none other than… Mercenary Tao. This reveal shocks Goku as he presumably killed him and especially Tenshinhan as this monster assassin is responsible for his past. Goku explains about his previous encounter with the Mercenary and Tao likewise reveals his resurrection. He had been salvaged by a former red ribbon scientist known as "Dr. Gero" and was transformed into the world's first cybernetic assassin. This had greatly extended his life and strength as he seeks vengeance against Goku.

Throughout the elimination rounds: The heroes (except Chiaotzu), Piccolo and Cyborg Tao all progress to the semi-finals. Many fighters were wounded during their battles with the demon king as well as the cyborg assassin and were carried out by stretchers. Yamcha is actually blitzing through his competition using his surprisingly enhanced reflexes and Strength. He soon is matched against the masked Yajirobe in the Final match and they begin an Intense clash. Yajirobe is actually able to keep up with the wolf warrior and lands some good blows, But Yamcha is able to outmatch him and Rings out Yajirobe with a swift kick. The Z-Fighters even have a surprise reunition from the fiery grown woman known as "Chi-Chi", who is the daughter of the Ox-king over by fire mountain.

Goku nor the others seem to recognize her at first until he says her name, which makes some of the group reminisce about the dragon ball search. They are quite surprised that Chi-Chi now towers over them at 6'10 despite being the same height as Goku when they were kids, with Chi-Chi shyly revealing that it must be her genetics since both of her parents were very tall compared to the average person. She decided to join the tournament as she recently learned about it and it seemed quite fun, although she did end up losing against some clumsy guy named Hero. Regardless, She has a cheeky smile with Goku and claims that she'll cheer him on. Goku is a bit confused as Chi-Chi leaves, but Krillin seems quite jealous that Goku is getting all the hot chicks.

Goku, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, Chi-Chi, Cyborg Tao, King Piccolo and the mystery girl have all passed onto the proper tournament rounds. The tournament announcer seems to be quite scared upon recognizing that THE demon king is amongst their ranks, although he just simply chuckles at the announcer's fear. This Group proceeds to Draw lots on the quarter-finals matches are decided: Tenshinhan/Tao, Goku/Anonymous, Krillin/Ma-senior and Hero/Yamcha.

The group decide to inform Bulma and the others about their progress in the tournament. They are very much concerned for Krillin and Ten’s matches, although Goku believes otherwise. Before the true tournament can begin, Goku and Krillin share their experience of Korin and Knowledge about the senzu beans. It appears that everyone has access to 3 senzu beans each. Launch adds that they invited Yajirobe to this blasted tournament yet he hasn’t shown up, although Goku replies that Yajirobes not the fighting type. The tournament announcer calls for the participants as the matches are set to begin. They decide to inform Bulma and the others about their progress in the tournament. They are very much concerned for Krillin and Ten’s matches, although Goku believes otherwise.

Quarter-Finals round 1: Tenshinhan VS Mercenary Tao.

Mercenary Tao is quite confident with this match and intends to put down Tien for good the same way that he did for his parents. A Brief flashback occurs as Tenshinhan remembers the day of his parents deaths. It turns out that Tenshinhans parents were Murdered by Tao because they were associated with Governmental Officials in "Super-Germany", who were responsible for the economic Crisis of Tao's home-land in Serbia during the the early 20th centaury. Tenshinhan is initially silent at the mention of his parents, but claims that he has nothing to do with any of that and Tao should let go of his grudge.

Mercenary Tao remains confident and rushes towards Tien, but soon finds himself quickly outmatched. Tenshinhan is able to block Tao's striking blows and retaliates with twice the force. Despite this, Cyborg Tao is able to land a few decent hits and slowly turns the match in his favour. Tenshinhan isn’t about to give up and Lands a Powerful uppercut to the assassin, which knocks him into the sky. Tenshinhan then uses his telekinesis to bring the assassin back to his level and then leaps onto him. Tien then grabs Tao's head and performs an aerial front flip before slamming Tao into the ground. Tao is able to recover and decides to rush in for another attack, But Tenshinhan quickly evades and lands a devastating kick to his arm. Tenshinhan then proceeds to land a flurry of punches to Mercenary Tao and then uses a devastating finishing punch to Knock the cyborg assassin back.

Tao is quite enraged that this weakling is holding his own against his cybernetics. He won’t stand for this and decides to reveal his ace attack. He rips off one of his mechanical hands and reveals a cannon underneath. This causes the announcer to claim that Tao is disqualified for using weaponry, but the mercenary doesn't care and tells them to shut up or he’ll kill them. Tao then locks onto Upa’s heart with his eye piece and then fires his Ultimate technique: the super dodon wave. Tenshinhan remains calm and simply uses a powerful Kiai to destroy the attack before it strikes him. The Assassian is caught off-guard and fires the another super dodon wave prematurely, With everyone watching in a mixture of terror and awe.

Tenshinhan then proceeds to race forward and smacks the attack away, before striking Tao in the gut with a devastating gut punch. Tenshinhan grabs Tao by his arm and flings him out of the arena, with the local cops arresting the Assassian. Tenshinhan feels happy that he defeated the Opponent who took his parents away, but he also feels that its a new start for him as he moves further away from his Initial goal of becoming a mercenary under emperor shen.

The announcer then reveals that the next match between Goku and “anonymous” is set to begin within 5 minutes. It's explained that this mysterious Red-haired girl has chosen to withhold her name. Anonymous does seem to be somewhat furious at Goku yet still wishes him good luck on the match. Meanwhile, King Piccolo watches the battlefield from above and seems curious on how Much that little runt (Goku) has grown since their last battle.

Quarter-Finals Round 2: Goku vs "Anonymous"

The two fighters step onto the stadium ring. The woman appears to be quite cross with Goku and he believes that she has him mistaking for someone else, but she knows that she’s looking at the right person. Neither Yamcha, Krillin or Launch know who this woman is. Bulma doesn't seem to recognize her either and Oolong doesn't really care. The announcer introduces both fighters and exclaims that the match can begin. The Red-haired girl bows in respect and a confused Goku follows, before they get into different battle poses. The woman then charges towards Goku with surprising speed before delivering a barrage of kicks and chops, which He manages to avoid with little difficulty.

The woman then charges towards Goku with surprising speed before delivering a barrage of kicks and chops, which He manages to avoid with little difficulty. Goku continues to ask if they have met before and The woman confirms his question. She asks if He even Remembers THEIR Friend “Android 8” and Goku is taken aback, Wondering how she knows of eighter.

Krillin becomes sure that Goku actually knows her, But still cannot put a finger on her identity. She claims that she has been waiting and Goku asks “what for?”. They take their battle into the air and Goku continues to dodge her barrage of attacks, although he also fails to recall about the special promise she mentioned. They return back to the ground and an Agitated Goku questions what exactly he promised. The woman reveals that He had promised to see her and Eighter again yet he never did. Goku is quite shocked about this reveal and begins to think, which allows him to recall his time with a red-haired girl in that… Snow village? Krillin gets angry that Goku had supposedly become really close friends with such a cute girl. He manages to recall that he did actually make that Promise to Eighter and recognizes that a red-haired girl was there as well, but he cannot recall her name.

The woman is glad that he at least remembers the Promise and agrees to reveal her name, but Goku will have to defeat her in the battle first. This satisfies Goku as he was getting tired of the waiting game. The woman giggles and says that he is sorely mistaken if he believes that He’s already won. She prepares to continue her attack against Goku, although she is not ready for his next move. Goku smiles and throws a Punch forward, creating an Invisible shockwave that Knocks the woman straight out of the ring. She ends up bashing her head against the stadium walls and falls to the grass in a daze, which makes Goku the winner of this round. This shocks Everybody in the tournament arena and even gets King Piccolo's attention. Krillin wonders what on earth had just Happended as he saw that Goku barely even moved an inch, although Yamcha believes that Punch must’ve caused a big shockwave that knocked her back.

Goku comes over to see if the woman is okay and helps her stand up, although she is still a bit dizzy. The woman states that Goku has gotten a lot stronger than she had ever expected and is glad that she got to reunite with him. Regardless, she decides to keep her own Promise and reveals that she is actually… SUNO!

Goku’s friends don’t seem to recall any person called that. Bulma does recognize that name from what Goku told her about a previous journey in jingle village. Goku finally remembers their earliest adventure in Jingle village, which included: Her saving Goku from the dreadful cold, Defeating those red ribbon soldiers, his infiltration of Muscle tower and their skating lesson with Eighter. He also remembers that he actually did make that Promise and apologizes for not fulfilling it. Suno waves off his concern and says that there is another reason for why she came to see Goku once more, which causes her to blush slightly. Goku is a bit curious about her reason and Suno looks over to the left, Which reveals that Eighter and her parents are in the crowd as well. Suno holds out her hands towards them and Eighter tosses what appears to be a Bouquet of flowers towards her, which she manages to catch (with some difficulty). Suno then presents the flowers to Goku and Asks one very important question: “will you... marry me?”.

Goku stares at the flowers with a blank expression for a few seconds and then looks at Krillin, Asking what she means by marriage. This question causes everyone to comedically fall to the ground in great annoyance. Goku is quite distressed by their sudden reaction as he believes that marriage is some sort of food, although Krillin manages to get up and exclaims that it means “his life is over”. Launch growls at Krillin’s statement and further comments that Goku would have to spend the rest of his life with Suno if he chooses to accept her proposal. Goku begins to understand what she means. Suno says that Goku doesn't have to accept her proposal if he wants and Goku thinks for a brief moment... Before saying that he will defiantly marry her. Suno rejoices with Goku's decision and the audience cheer for the new couple. Goku’s friends are shocked. Suno states that she loves him and hugs onto Goku’s arm tightly, which annoys him as the concept of love is completely foreign to him. As she begins to dote on her new fiancé, The announcer hails the unique event as a first in the history of the tenkaichi Budokai. Krillin cracks up, saying that its not fair that GOKU of all people gets married before him.

As they walk back to the contestants room, Goku notes that it's rather hard to walk with Suno holding his arm tightly. She meekly apologizes and awkwardly lets go of his arm. His friends arrive and Suno reintroduces herself to the group. Just then, the announcer reveals the next match. It seems that Krillin will be going up against “Ma senior”, who is really THE Demon King piccolo. Goku warns Krillin to take this opponent very seriously and not to waste time.

Quarter-Finals Round 3: Krillin vs "Ma Senior".

As he enters the ring, Krillin believes that he doesn't feel right with his next opponent. King Piccolo floats down onto the tournament ring and refers to Krillin as “Small fry”. He allows Krillin to start the fight whenever he is ready and Krillin doesn't intend to hold back anything.

Krillin gets into a weird battle position and Unleashes a double Tsuhikidan, which Piccolo effortlessly dodges. However, Krillin reveals his newest trick and redirects his energy beams like Homing shots towards the demon king's son. This quite surprises him as he just barely manages to destroy the energy beams with his eye lasers. Krillin uses this opportunity to Jump upwards and strike the demon King's son with a Punch. He recovers and attempts to land a punch himself, but Krillin quickly uses an after image technique and disappears from his vision. Krillin then reappears Behind Piccolo and slams him towards the Ground with a mighty kick. Piccolo manages to halt his velocity In mid-air and secretly admits that this opponent is stronger than the Original thought. He lands back on the ground and prepares for their next exchange.

Krillin lunges towards Piccolo and he effortlessly dodges his first attack, But Krillin is somehow able to keep up with his movements. King Piccolo is quite surprised as he now works to defend himself from Krillin’s attacks. They return into the air and exchange blows, with King Piccolo managing to Kick his opponent towards the Tournament ring. Goku is worried that Krillin might fall out of the ring. However, Krillin proves him wrong by firing a small energy sphere backwards and using the Slight momentum to Bounce off the tournament walls, allowing him to avoid the grass and land back on the ring. As an apology for underestimating Krillin, Ma Senior decides to show off his own training and reveal a portion of his true power. Launch and Suno initially believe it to be a bluff Yet Goku warns his friend to keep his guard up, sensing that its not a Bluff. For his part, Krillin can tell that something is about to come for him.

King Piccolo demands that Krillin leaves the tournament, although Krillin refuses. He taunts Krillin with villainous laughter and Krillin unleashes a furious barrage of attacks against King Piccolo, although It proves futile as piccolo effortlessly dodges. Krillin attempts one last strike in his anger and The demon King's son simply punches the bald man in the Gut, before landing a powerful spin-kick that knocks him just to the edge of the arena. Piccolo stands menacingly and Tells Krillin that He won’t Kill him as of yet, but “reassures” that Pain is on the way. He begins to charge some type of attack and then Punches forward, which actually causes his arms to extend forward. He grabs Krillin from across the stadium ring and pulls his arm backwards, allowing him to land a Mighty Punch on Krillin that nearly sends him crashing into the tournament walls.

Krillin barely manages to recover and Kicks off the tournament walls into the sky, Before firing a powerful Kamehameha. However, it just hits an Afterimage and Piccolo slams Krillin back onto the ring. Piccolo grabs the exhausted Krillin by the scruff of his neck and Chuckles slightly. He admits that Krillin was a worthy foe, although he is only standing in the way. With that, Piccolo throws Krillin up into the air and leaps above him before smacking Krillin back to the ground like a volleyball. Krillin is beaten and Exhausted, Yet he still finds the energy to continue standing. He chuckles a bit and decides on forfeiting the match, With his two friends Goku and Launch helping him back to the contestant room. Piccolo stares at the group and admits (to himself) that he may have overestimated his ability to conquer the world so easily.

Quarter-Finals round 4: Yamcha vs Hero.

The Final match of the Quarter-finals would be Yamcha vs Hero. Yamcha is quite confident in his victory due to hero’s unassuming appearance, Promising to Hold back to avoid a Violent beatdown. he allows Him to attack First and easily dodges the clumsy chop, But is Kicked by accident when Hero trips. Yamcha believes that it was a fluke and Launches himself at Hero, Who clumsily dodges the attack and Inadvertently makes Yamcha slam his head onto Hero’s shoulder. Flustered by Hero’s extreme Luck, Yamcha begins to get serious and Lands a Powerful Blow onto Hero. He decides to also get serious as the two fight with a flurry of Punches Until Hero elbows Yamcha in the stomach and Knocks him down. Surprisingly, Yamcha is able to get up and Leaps backwards before propelling Himself on all fours towards Hero. This catches him off-guard as Yamcha lands a flurry of blows on the Man with incredible speed, Which amazes everyone in the stands. Eventually, Hero decides to use his own Ki sensing to detect Yamcha's movements around him and counter-strikes/Dodges accordingly.

After all psychical attacks fail to connect, Yamcha has to resort with to the Spirit ball. Hero manages to dodge most of the attacks but gets caught in the increasingly fast attacks, Having to act fast. He decides to rush through the attacks and knocks Yamcha cleanly out of the ring.

Semi-Finals round 1: Goku vs Tenshinhan

The next match pits Tenshinhan against Goku. The crowd grows anxious as they are aware that these two formidable fighters had faced each other in the last tournament. King Piccolo is somewhat curious about this next match, seeing that this could be a great way to observe the fighters and study their move sets. Goku and Ten promise each other to not hold a single thing back. The two fighters make a dramatic entrance by flipping onto the Arena and now the match can begin.

The two fighters lunge towards each other and engage in an intense battle, which appears to be surprisingly equal. Tenshinhan manages to headbutt his opponent into the walls and Goku easily recovers By bouncing from the arena walls, which he sues the Momentum to land a Kick on Tenshinhan. The three-eyed warrior fires of a dodon ray and Goku simply deflects it, but Tenshinhan sees it coming and re-deflects it back at Goku. The duo constantly deflect the dodon ray Like a Tennis ball until It becomes too fast and Goku is forced to avoid it. Tenshinhan then lands a devastating gut Punch and Knocks Goku down to the ground. Goku swiftly recovers by performing a leg sweep that knocks Ten off his feet and follows up with a powerful butterfly Kick, sending Ten flying away. He quickly recovers and the two continue to spar for a short while. The two warriors then surprisingly punch each other in the face at the same time and then backflip away from each to gain a safe distance.

After mutual congratulations, Tenshinhan states that he has mastered a crucial skill and Suddenly takes off with extreme speed. Goku is surprisingly able to Track him and follows him high above the surface. Ten is quite impressed with Goku’s ability but finds him to be somewhat slow. A Quick battle ensues in an equal battle Until Ten manages to elbow Goku in the back of the Neck, knocking him down to the tournament surface. When they land, Tenshinhan lands a mighty kick to the face. Goku lunges in with a Super god fist straight to Tenshinhans face and Follows up with a Rock, scissors N’ Paper technique. Tenshinhan recovers and manages to strike Goku right in the gut, which almost knocks him out of the ring. However, Goku manages to recover by rapidly spinning himself back onto the ring. Both warriors acknowledge the others strength and ten assures Goku that he will win, with Goku responding that he is a tough challenge.

Before they continue, Goku requests a second to take off some of his clothing. Everyone initially believes that Goku is going to relieve himself from the heat. Goku struggles to take off his shirt at first and after he does, it somehow makes a slight dent in the floor. Tenshinhan is suspicious and goes to Pick up Goku’s shirt, although it appears to be quite heavy. Goku soon takes off his boots and wristbands, which reveal that he was wearing weighted clothing. His shirt, Boots and Wristbands all equal to 120kg. Krillin, Launch and Suno are quite stunned with Goku’s abnormally weighted clothes. Tenshinhan is amazed that Goku was wearing this DURING their intense match and hasn’t broken a sweat yet, With Goku revealing that he uses them as a part of his training. Goku is enthralled and showcases his incredible speed by performing various attacks in rapid succession as well as bouncing around the arena at Subsonic speeds.

In response, The three-eyed warrior decides to hold nothing back. Tenshinhan lunges forward and attempts to strike, but All of his attacks are effortlessly dodged. He does manage to land two hits before Goku manages to Block his next barrage, although its starting to become harder. Ten is about to attack with a machine Gun punch, but Goku races away and distracts him with after-images. Tenshinhan has a little trouble finding Goku yet he manages to catch the real Goku and is about to attack, but his pants suddenly fall down and making him trip. This makes him quite confused and embarrassed as Goku holds up Tien's belt. It appears that Goku used the distraction to take his belt without noticing with his incredible speed.

Tenshinhan attempts to snatch his belt back, although he keeps tripping up in the process as his pants repeatedly fall down. Ten is embarrassed and Launch is agitated with her friends (as well as the whole crowd) laughing at him. Goku then returns an angered Ten’s belt and He puts it back on. With that, the battle can properly continue. Tenshinhan prepares a fantastic attack and plans to use his “twelve eyes” in order to properly see Goku. Tenshinhan charges his newest technique and suddenly glows like fire, with Ten splitting into two Ten’s. Then, they split themselves again and now there are 4 tens. He simply calls this stunning move: the "Multi-form" technique.

It quickly becomes a battle of four versus one, with Goku struggling against the assault from all four tens. Goku manages to speed away from them and returns to Kick them all in the face. To counter, The four tens rush to the corners of the ring and unleash simultaneous Buster cannons towards Goku. The four attacks appear to be a direct hit in the middle of the ring, with a small crater being left behind from the explosion after the dust clears. Tenshinhan is concerned that he may have Killed Goku, but Its quickly revealed that Goku had escaped from the blast by jumping into the sky. Goku is unable to move fast in the air and the Ten’s use this opportunity to fire energy beams from their third eyes. The attack hits Goku and he crashes into the stage head-first, but he manages to tank the fall by going into his super form at the right moment. Ten is amazed with Goku’s endurance and he lightly chuckles. Goku says that he has found 2 flaws with Ten's move, which confuses him. King Piccolo smirks once he believes that he's found Goku’s weakness as well.

The tens repeat their last move in order to prove Goku wrong, but Goku uses a solar flare to Blind all of them at once. He states that Tenshinhans eyes are great but he relies on them way too much. Whilst disorientated, Goku uses his incredible speed to land a flurry of attacks from all directions that Knocks all Ten’s into a single file line. Kami is connected to the dragon balls, thus they would disappear with his death. Kami laments that Piccolo's existence is his fault and that he is no longer worthy of being earth's guardian. Bulma then speaks up and says that its because of their adventure for the dragon balls and meeting all of their friends that the world is now at peace, which is logic Kami accepts.
