The Outbreak Saga is the fifth saga in Dragon Ball Full Potential and the third saga in the Outbreak Group.

Plot[]
The saga starts when Future Trunks beats Vegeta during the end of their fight. Then, a huge cloud filled with what Goku senses as a negative energy and darkness surrounds the field, flowing from the Lake of Hell. After a few seconds, a being named Outbreak is formed. He then starts to fight the Saiyans, who are the only ones of the tournament that can even hold their own against the being.The being then begins to shape-shift and tricks the Saiyans for a long time, transforming into illusions to confuse its opponents.
Outbreak manages to escape Hell by going through the Lake of Hell, which means that only Trunks, Goten, and Gohan (he decides not to though, since he is still hurt from the fight with Vegeta) can follow him. They manage to hold their own against him before Outbreak starts to smile as he sees that the Sun is starting to go down, meaning that it has something up its sleeve.
