Ohano's is a two-story pub on the island of Hosomaki in the Crimson Fingers (located in the far south of the world). It has been owned by Yasahiro Ohano since Age 741. The bar has twenty-four beers on tap as well as fully-functional kitchen. Mr. Ohano employs 19 people, making it one of the largest businesses on the island. The bar's hours are from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. It mostly serves sailors from the Crimson Fingers, many of whom only return home in the wee hours of the morning. The bar has several pool tables, a professional dart board, and a jukebox. Many of the paintings featured around the bar were drawn by Mr. Ohano's son-in-law, Takebashi Hareki.
History[]
During Blue Wolf, Wolfe and his surviving Wings visited Ohano's in Age 747, ordering food and drinks as well as playing pool and darts. Mr. Ohano talked to Wolfe about the Skinchangers' treasure supposedly buried in Umihebiza. After their conversation, Wolfe thought that the legend was not based in reality and not worth pursuing. The bandits were kicked out a few hours later for throwing darts at the patrons.
Ohano's was featured several times in Monkeyboy's First Vacation, which took place in Age 776. Shoekki and Ryori were Mr. Ohano's grandchildren, so they were allowed to order anything from the bar for free (this was also the case for Jia and Ledas, since they had come with them). They hung out in the bar mostly after 10:00 a.m. so that they could have the place to themselves The day after the Kureinai Natsumatsuri (June 13th), they spent the majority of the day in Ohano's recovering from partying the night before. Whenever Ledas was in there, he often ordered enough food for like ten people just for himself, while Shoekki loved to get free shots of liquor.
