Obotchaman (オボッチャマン) is an android built by Dr. Mashirito. He is built using the plans for Arale Norimaki, but is designed as a male. Obatchaman appears in the final mid-credits scene of Meet the Norimakis running away from the wreckage of Yokashi's Shigai Valley home. Afterwards, he becomes a recurring character and is prominently shown as Arale's love interest.
