New Arcose is a free world. It was conquered and then sold by the Planet Trade Organization to an undisclosed buyer.
History[]
New Arcose was the planet that the Saiyans conquered for the Arcosians. After the Saiyan, King Vegeta, conquered his homeworld, Planet Vegeta, the Arcosians took notice of the warrior race. They requested the Saiyans' help in finding a new homeworld (for their old one was no good anymore), offering them technology and space ships in trade. The Saiyans agreed and conquered a planet for them, which was then renamed "New Arcose". The planet, a temperate, medium-sized rocky world, was easily conquered. Much of the landscape was left intact after the Saiyans conquered the place, although the cities and towns of the native sentient species were destroyed.
New Arcose was given to the Arcosians, who were really just members King Cold's species. They did not actually need a new homeworld, for Old Arcose was still completely habitable. They lied about their story in order to test the strength of the Saiyan race. Once they deemed the Saiyans power enough to join the Planet Trade Organization, they sold New Arcose on the galactic planet market and absorbed the warrior race into their group.
Currently, New Arcose is in the possession of an undisclosed buyer. He uses the planet as a vast manufacturing and trade hub with millions of slaves working in factories. The factories have polluted the planet's oceans, and most of the forests have been cut down. New Arcose is covered in a layer of smog, which envelops its surface. Currently, the landscape is almost exclusively sandy deserts and acidic oceans. Because the smog prevents New Arcose's star's rays from penetrating through to the ground, the planet is also very cold (forcing artificial heat to be employed in the factories) and always stuck in night.
