The Morizakura-gumi was a yakuza crime syndicate operating primarily out of the West City area. The gang was involved in numerous illegal activities, such as a black-market firearm trading, running illegal drug manufacturing and trading, extorting and blackmailing businesses and local city governments, as well as being involved in numerous racketeering operations. Following the collapse of the Chàoxing Gon in Age 752, Cardinal and the New Red Ribbon Army allied with this yakuza gang, financing much of their operations from that point on.
History[]
In November Age 752, the New Red Ribbon Army allied with the Morizakura-gumi following the fall of the Chàoxing Gon. Mokuzabe met with Silver, Glase, and Violet in Seikishi City to enjoy Korean barbecue together to celebrate their alliance. During the party, Violet killed Glase and attacked Silver and was shot several times for it. Afterward, the Morizakura-gumi protected the New Red Ribbon Army's drug shipments through Diablo Desert.
In December of Age 756, Cardinal sent sent Androids 11 and 12 to the Morizakura-gumi in Seikishi City to be worked on (with oversight from some of his associates), as well as the Dragon Radar. Cardinal offered the yakuza Ƶ100,000,000,000 if they could fix it, though he didn't tell them what the radar was for.
In Age 777, Yamaguchi, the current leader of the Morizakura-gumi, resolved to collect the Dragon Balls to wish for world domination. However, soon after, Cuber appeared, breaking through the walls of his secret lair to steal the three-star and five-star balls. Outraged, Yamaguchi sent two of his most powerful henchmen, Kosaburo Akagi and Kasumi Yamato, after Cuber. They were able to confront him while he was making his wishes, although the Saiyan easily killed them as soon as they attacked.
