Years later in the 799 Age, Mata and his team follow Cobra to Planet Zartar. While on the planet, Mata and his team are ordered to hunt down Trunks and the others and recover all seven of the Gold Star Dragon Balls. after Gohan and Piccolo's arrvial, Mata is defeated by Piccolo.
