Locke's Ruse (ロックの策略, Rokku No Sakuryaku) is a move used by The Benefactor. When using it, he throws his hands out and scatters energy into the air, creating a black fog, which slowly gets thicker as time goes on. Any being caught in the fog will be drained of their energy. The Benefactor will be able to absorb some of the energy drained, though not all of it. One notable feature of this attack is that anyone who has their energy sucked out will not feel the effects unless they try to power up, meaning that this attack is quite stealthy, apart from its appearance.
