Salty Salpico patrons[]
In the first scene of chapter 1, on June 25, Age 776, when Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa entered Salty Salpico, they noticed a few customers inside. Three frog-faced aliens were singing karaoke. Others were seated at tables (some were passed out), while the remainder were at the bar being entertained by the Heolik bartender. After Akashiyaki entered the establishment and stole food from several people, they grew pissed, one following him to the bar to cuss him out.
Salty Salpico employees[]
In the first scene of chapter 1, on June 25, Age 776, when Beelzebub, Ledas, and Ryori entered Salty Salpico, they noticed several employees inside. A Heolik was entertaining the customers at the bar while a Faerin man acted as Beelzebub, Ledas, and Ryori's server. He carded both of them. Ryori presented a fake ID that stated he was twenty-two years old (he had used his age adjuster for the picture). The Faerin had never seen a human before, so he allowed Ryori to drink. He took Beelzebub's Demon Realm driver's license and was shocked to learn he was apparently 2515 years old. The server was ready to call shenanigans until Beelzebub informed him he was a demon.
Halcuria space port attendant[]
In the first scene of chapter 2, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed at the Halcuria space port in Chelbalos. A port attendant tried to get them to pay the docking fee, but Ledas returned the spaceship to a capsule and refused. When the attendant insisted they pay, Beelzebub used Stone Spit to turn the man into stone, promising to reverse the process after they left the planet.
Halcuria residents and visitors[]
In the first scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, there were many residents and visitors in Halcuria as Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa traversed the city. There were loads inside the Flying Aces casino as well. When Cavatel and Beelzebub fought outside of the casino and began destroying buildings, the nearby bystanders fled in panic, many screaming.
Cavatel[]
In the first scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ryori, and Carawa entered the Flying Aces casino looking for Akashiyaki. Inside the casino, they got distracted by a VR video game setup, with Ryori playing Lot Lizard Simulator 14 and Beelzebub playing Local God of a Medium-sized Backwater World. Carawa took videos of them playing with Ryori's phone. Just then, Cavatel and Saccottine, a pair of bounty hunters, came over and began playing the game with Beelzebub. Beelz grew annoyed, as they were far better than him. After losing the game, Beelzebub was ready to leave when Cavatel bet him ₩40,000 to play again. His pride couldn't allow him to sulk off, so he tried to beat Cavatel again. Of course, he lost, which was to be expected. Saccottine offered him double or nothing on another game, but he refused to play anymore, as he had noticed Ryori had drifted over to the slot machines and needed to stop him from blowing all their money.
Later, Cavatel and Saccottine overheard Beelz and Ryori discussing their plan to capture Akashiyaki and came over. Cavatel had heard of Akashiyaki before, declaring he would catch the thief. Beelzebub told him to buzz off. Cavatel was most surprised that Beelz was a bounty hunter. Ryori told them Beelzebub was the Prince of the Demon Realm, but they didn't seem to believe him. Neither side backed down, so Beelzebub threatened to kill them if they didn't leave him alone. Cavatel was unfazed, agreeing to fight Beelzebub to the death.
Beelz threw himself at Cavatel, destroying a slot machine. They began to fight, at which point the floor manager, flanked by a large group of security guards, confronted them, demanding they leave the premises, as fighting was not allowed. Beelzebub apologized and left the building, Ryori and Carawa on his heels.
Outside, Cavatel and Saccottine confronted him again. Cavatel reminded his companion that he was about to use his ace move, Paralyzing Resonance. Beelzebub had no clue what that was. His fight with Cavatel commenced at once. Ryori filmed it on his phone while Saccottine and Carawa watched. Cavatel's speed took Beelzebub by surprise, allowing him to land several blows. As Beelzebub grew into the fight, he began to put Cavatel on the defensive. Just then, Cavatel used his Paralyzing Resonance, which was a kiai-style attack, to paralyze Beelzebub. While Beelzebub was paralyzed, Cavatel hit him several times.
When the Paralyzing Resonance's power waned, Beelzebub charged up to his maximum power and began to fight the shrimpy man again. He was about to overwhelm him when Cavatel used Paralyzing Resonance again. Saccottine jumped into the fight, slamming Beelzebub into the side of a building. As he struggled to get up, Beelzebub was hit with another Paralyzing Resonance. This one almost knocked him unconscious. Cavatel and Saccottine hit him repeatedly while he was paralyzed, draining his stamina. When he regained his movement, Cavatel just hit him with another Paralyzing Resonance (he was an unrepentant spammer) before punching him into a wall. Bystanders all around were fleeing in terror.
Cavatel threw Beelz onto the ground, forcing him to give up chasing Akashiyaki. Beelzebub pleaded for his life. Cavatel warned him not to pursue the octopus again, as next time, he wouldn't be so forgiving. The bounty hunters regrouped, thinking that Akashiyaki had already left the planet. They quickly flew off, hoping to catch him in the next world.
In the second scene of chapter 3, on June 26, Age 776, Ledas, Ryori, Beelzebub, and Carawa entered the Great Palgam Bocchi Festival on Harbolian, which was in full swing and packed with people. After they got their fortunes red, Cavatel appeared and flew into Beelzebub, kicking him into a fruit stand. Cavatel and Saccottine landed next to Ryori, Ledas, Carawa, and Akashiyaki. A lot of people ran off, fleeing the scene in a panic. Cavatel rebuked Beelzebub for continuing to pursue Akashiyaki, swearing he could kill him for his insolence. Beelzebub just wanted to fight him already. He was tired of hearing Cavatel speak.
They rushed at each other, Cavatel going on the offensive at first. Beelzebub took a battering, as Cavatel's speed and strength were superior. Nevertheless, he warned Ledas not to step in, claiming to have everything under control. Ledas grew impatient, though, as he considered the bounty hunters to be weak. Neither Cavatel nor Saccottine believed anyone on their team could best them.
Finally, Cavatel used his Paralyzing Resonance, which washed over Beelzebub. He and Saccottine relaxed, believing they had beaten Beelzebub. Just then, Beelz unleashed his Power of Darkness, powering up massively, and shattered through the paralyzing force, knocking Cavatel over. The skies darkened as he took on the form. Without wasting time, Beelzebub rushed at Cavatel, slicing his face open with his Darkness Scratch. The open wounds exploded seconds later, killing Cavatel.
Saccottine[]

Saccottine tried to avenge his friend, but Beelz quickly dealt with him by punching his claw through his chest.
Flying Aces floor manager[]
In the first scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ryori, and Carawa entered the Flying Aces casino looking for Akashiyaki. Beelz noticed an employee in a fancy suit and walked over to him to ask him about Akashiyaki. The man was the casino's floor manager. He explained Akashiyaki's game and showed the man a holographic projection of what he looked like. The floor manager recognized the octopus, saying he had created a commotion in the Spordadios restaurant on the third floor of the casino about three hours earlier before being chased out by security.
Later, Beelzebub and Cavatel began to fight, at which point the floor manager, flanked by a large group of security guards, confronted them, demanding they leave the premises, as fighting was not allowed. Beelzebub apologized and left the building, Ryori and Carawa on his heels.
Flying Aces security staff[]
In the first scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ryori, and Carawa entered the Flying Aces casino looking for Akashiyaki. After arguing over who would bring in the bounty, Beelzebub and Cavatel began to fight, at which point the floor manager, flanked by a large group of security guards, confronted them, demanding they leave the premises, as fighting was not allowed. Beelzebub apologized and left the building, Ryori and Carawa on his heels.
Peep booth enthusiasts[]
In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, Ledas entered the Old Timey Space Puritans’ Peep Booth and ran into a couple of guys in stall #11 who quickly rushed out.
Torgbos residents and visitors[]
In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, there were many residents and visitors in Torgbos while Ledas looked for Akashiyaki. There were a good number of people inside Blowback’s Soup and Chowder Emporium, including an adult contemporary band. When Ledas pursued Shebal Kaum, he ran past dozens, if not hundreds, of people, particularly a large crowd at a farmer's market.
Naduno[]
In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, Ledas entered the Blowback’s Soup and Chowder Emporium after a report of Akashiyaki stealing food had been released a few minutes prior. At the front desk, he confronted a Jolean named Naduno about Akashiyaki. She refused to assist him, stating the store's policy did not allow them to cooperate with bounty hunters. After Naduno repeatedly refused to help, Ledas killed her with a Homing Finger Beam.
Urimis[]
In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, Ledas entered the Blowback’s Soup and Chowder Emporium after a report of Akashiyaki stealing food had been released a few minutes prior. At the front desk, he confronted a Jolean named Naduno about Akashiyaki. She refused to assist him, stating the store's policy did not allow them to cooperate with bounty hunters. After Naduno repeatedly refused to help, Ledas killed her with a Homing Finger Beam. He turned to her assistant, a Faerin named Urimis, and asked him about Akashiyaki.
At that moment, a distinguished gentleman at a nearby table berated Ledas, claiming he was polluting the place with his presence. Ledas threatened to kill him if he didn't shut up. The old man's female companion slapped his arm, telling him to shut up and stop making a scene. The man continued to mock Ledas, prompting the Saiyan to shoot a Lightning Strike across his body that destroyed all his fancy clothing. Aghast, the old man covered himself with the tablecloth and ran out of the restaurant, his girlfriend going with him.
Urimis confirmed Akashiyaki had been in the restaurant about ten minutes prior. After getting kicked out, Akashiyaki had apparently declared he would never come back to Chelbalos, which Ledas knew meant he had left the planet.
Distinguished gentleman[]
In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, Ledas entered the Blowback’s Soup and Chowder Emporium after a report of Akashiyaki stealing food had been released a few minutes prior. While he questioned the host, Urimis, a distinguished gentleman at a nearby table berated Ledas, claiming he was polluting the place with his presence.
Distinguished gentleman's girlfriend[]

Shebal Kaum[]
In the second scene of chapter 2, on June 25, Age 776, after Ledas interrogated the employees at Blowback’s Soup and Chowder Emporium in Torgbos, he left the restaurant. Outside, he prepared to contact Beelzebub and Ryori when a purple furball (by the name of Shebal Kaum) pickpocketed Ledas' spaceship capsule off him. Realizing what had happened, Ledas frantically pursued the beast. He chased him across Torgbos, through back alleys, rooftops, parks, streets, and even a farmer's market. Shebal tried to lose Ledas in the crowd, but that didn't work. Ledas caught up to him and took him out with a single punch. He retrieved the capsule and slung the furball over his shoulder, flying off, leaving a crowd of people startled.
Flying back, he contacted Beelzebub and updated him on Akashiyaki's whereabouts. He waited for them at the Halcuria space port, locking Shebal Kaum up in the meantime.
In the first scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed on Dalon IV after following Akashiyaki to the city of Whalupalavu. They had tracked Akashiyaki there. Ledas tortured Shebal Kaum in a prison made up of his own ki on the spaceship before returning it to a capsule in his pocket.
In the third scene, on July 2, Age 776, Ledas, Beelzebub, and Ryori brought Shebal Kaum and Akashiyaki to Galactic Patrol Penal Colony 114. They met with a Galactic Patrolman named Namazaka, who offered to pay the bounties. Namazaka seared a numerical tag on Akashiyaki's arm with a laser before releasing him to a drone that had descended from the hazy mist overhead. Akashiyaki threw himself to the ground, pleading with Namazaka to let him go. He told him about how Ledas and Beelzebub had stolen all of his money. The Patrolman wasn't hearing it, though, refusing to set him free. The drone took Akashiyaki up into the sky, no doubt to place him in a cell.
Next up was Shebal Kaum. Namazaka seared a numerical tag into his arm as well. Shebal threatened Ledas, swearing that he'd come after him as soon as he got out. Ledas didn't care. Another drone descended from above and flew off with Shebal.
Harbolian residents and visitors[]
In the first scene of chapter 3, there were various natives and travelers of Harbolian lingering around. Several dozen were inside the Mollusk Munching Madness restaurant. Others were out on the street when Beelzebub and Ledas dragged Akashiyaki over to a space ATM and assaulted him. The events surrounding Akashiyaki were deeply troubling to the onlookers, causing many of them to speed-walk away in terror. In the second scene, thousands of people participated in the Great Palgam Bocchi Festival. A large slew of them ran away when Cavatel attacked Beelzebub. Otherwise, they enjoyed the various food vendors, Ulcerin's fortunetelling shack, the crocodilian Nil smoker's abode, the naked, painted dancers and musicians, the Metalman feeding area, and all the other attractions of the day.
Mollusk Munching Madness staff[]
In the first scene of chapter 3, there were many Mollusk Munching Madness employees out and about tending to the crowded restaurant. An older gentleman served as the waiter for Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa.
Kebab-robbed woman[]
In the first scene of chapter 3, after Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa entered Mollusk Munching Madness and decided to eat lunch, Akashiyaki unexpectedly entered the building. He wasted no time in snatching a bulocalamari stick from a woman. She was none too pleased with the theft. He ate it in front of her without a care in the world. Beelz leapt into the air, landing between the woman and Akashiyaki. Without mercy, he pummeled the octopus onto the floor and tied him up with ki-restraining space steel zip ties.
Ledas walked over, gleeful over the space woolongs they'd get for turning him in. Akashiyaki begged them to let him go. Beelzebub wasn't having it. The irate woman demanded that Akashiyaki pay for a new bulocalamari stick. She also wanted a refund in general because of the so-called terrible service. Beelz asked her to go away and deal with that herself, as she was a hideous swamp creature who was foul to look upon. After giving him a death stare, the woman marched off, screaming for a manager.
Crocodilian alien[]
In the second scene of chapter 3, on June 26, Age 776, Ledas, Ryori, Beelzebub, and Carawa entered the Great Palgam Bocchi Festival on Harbolian, which was in full swing and packed with people. They started off trying a bunch of the street food before Ledas spotted the shack containing a guy who could smoke a hundred Nil sticks at once. They decided to check it out. They had to wear gas masks, and it cost ₩1500 apiece to enter (they didn't bother buying one for Akashiyaki). They found a crocodilian alien inside. His snout was adorned with more Nil sticks than they could count. The guy didn't really do anything, though, except make repetitive poses, so the gang left.
Unnamed Metalman[]
In the second scene of chapter 3, on June 26, Age 776, Ledas, Ryori, Beelzebub, and Carawa entered the Great Palgam Bocchi Festival on Harbolian, which was in full swing and packed with people. They came across an area where people could feed a Metalman pails of lava. There was a burn unit and a children's burn unit for those who got a bit of lava on them. The group was not interested in participating.
Great Palgram Bocchi dancers[]
In the second scene of chapter 3, on June 26, Age 776, Ledas, Ryori, Beelzebub, and Carawa entered the Great Palgam Bocchi Festival on Harbolian, which was in full swing and packed with people. They watched a procession of naked dancers come down the street as music played. Most of them were women, which Beelzebub and Ledas enjoyed. Ryori found the display grotesque. They remained there until the dancers moved onto the next street.
Ulcerin[]
In the second scene of chapter 3, on June 26, Age 776, Ledas, Ryori, Beelzebub, and Carawa entered the Great Palgam Bocchi Festival on Harbolian, which was in full swing and packed with people. Ledas noticed a fortunetelling hut located nearby that he wanted to visit. Beelzebub said that fortunetelling was fake, which, of course, Ledas knew. He just wanted to see what nonsense the guy inside came up with. Beelzebub agreed to take part if they left the planet afterward. Ledas said they would.
The fortuneteller's name was Ulcerin. He charged ₩7500 per customer. Before they entered the building, Ledas asked them not to help Ulcerin with his readings or tell him anything he says is wrong. Only then could they understand the depth of his nonsense. Ulcerin was a fat man who wore an extreme amount of jewelry. He had a partially absorbed parasitic twin poking out from his stomach. The head could blink and open its mouth, but it could not talk. It watched them.
Ryori went first. Ulcerin told him he could become a fashion and adult content photographer if he reached his full potential. Otherwise, he would be a construction worker or mass-production sculptor. Ledas stepped up next. Ulcerin stated that if Ledas was lazy and did not reach his potential, he would amount to nothing more than a bartender and part-time gloryhole operator. If he did achieve his goals, he could become a galaxy-renowned space opera singer. Ledas thanked him for the reading, lying that becoming a singer had been his life's dream. Finally, Ulcerin gave Beelzebub his reading. He believed Beelz was an addict who would have to sell his body on the street to pay for drugs. If he achieved his full potential, however, he believed Beelz could become a middle manager at a fast-food restaurant. They thanked Ulcerin and left.
Outside, the trio had a bemused conversation about how wrong the fortuneteller had been.
Dalon IV residents and visitors[]
In the first scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed on Dalon IV after following Akashiyaki to the city of Whalupalavu. There were many residents and visitors in the docking area as well as the city itself. Many of them were terrorized when Ledas and Beelzebub chased Akashiyaki through the streets. A group of them made fun of Beelz and Leeds after they let Akashiyaki get away from them inside a restaurant. In the second scene, later that day, many guests and employees were in the Tabo Kavor Ablorne restaurant that Ryori and Carawa visited. Some of them were amused when Akashiyaki collapsed after consuming a Bitrex-enhanced Bhourven wing.
Whalupalavu port attendant[]
In the first scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed on Dalon IV after following Akashiyaki to the city of Whalupalavu. They entered the docks, where many employees and travelers were. Beelz asked a nearby employee if she knew where Akashiyaki had landed, showing her a model of the ship on his wrist-pad. The dock attendant found that question highly inappropriate and refused to answer. Ledas said they were on official Galactic Patrol business and showed her a hand-drawn bounty hunting license, but the attendant didn't care, as she stated Dalon IV's government didn't recognize the Galactic Patrol's authority. Ledas conjured an Ice Cannon, threatening her life if she didn't take them to the ship.
The attendant capitulated at once, escorting them to the proper hangar after consulting her datapad. Without a second thought, Ledas destroyed the ship with a Kyorra Flash. The boys shared a gleeful moment, knowing Akashiyaki was stranded on the planet. Ledas and Beelzebub were eager to begin hunting the octopus man, while Ryori and Carawa were more interested in tasting the local cuisine. They decided to split off. Beelz and Ledas shot off into the air, leaving the others behind.
Crying woman[]
In the first scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed on Dalon IV after following Akashiyaki to the city of Whalupalavu. They had tracked Akashiyaki there. While searching the city, Ledas and Beelzebub noticed a woman, covered in ink and on her knees, crying by a pool. She revealed Akashiyaki had stolen her Syfilunga Mimosa drink before ranting about how he'd torn her dress. She demanded that the constable (whoever that was) refund her for her dress. She told them which direction Akashiyaki had run off to before demanding a refund for her drink as well. Having heard enough, Beelzebub spat on her, turning her to stone. Ledas didn't think that was necessary. Beelz said there was a fifty-fifty chance he'd turn her back after they left the planet.
Zar-degar masseuse[]
In the first scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed on Dalon IV after following Akashiyaki to the city of Whalupalavu. They had tracked Akashiyaki there. Shortly after, Beelzebub spotted Akashiyaki in a nearby resort getting a massage from a Zar-degar woman. They decided to land and sneak up on Akashiyaki. Akashiyaki was so focused on instructing the masseuse where to massage him that he didn't notice Beelz until he was right next to them. In a panic, Akashiyaki shot up and ran off, accidentally hitting the masseuse aside and knocking her into the pool.
Unnamed waiter[]
In the first scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Beelzebub, Ledas, Ryori, and Carawa landed on Dalon IV after following Akashiyaki to the city of Whalupalavu. They had tracked Akashiyaki there. After finding him, Ledas and Beelzebub chased the octopus man into a nearby restaurant. Akashiyaki snatched a stick of butter from a waiter who was carrying a basket of bread, causing the man to fall over.
Tabo Kavor Ablorne waiter[]
In the second scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Ryori and Carawa stopped by the Tabo Kavor Ablorne restaurant for a bite to eat. The place was packed. Carawa ordered an ultra supreme supillo smoothie with whipped cream while Ryori got Bhourven wings in a medium spicy sauce with a side of space celery. Theo helped Ryori translate the menu, allowing him to order without inconveniencing the waiter. Not long after, the waiter returned with their food and drinks. Ryori wondered what the appropriate tipping amount was, as he wasn't sure about the alien customs.
Rowdy table of young men[]
In the second scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Ryori and Carawa stopped by the Tabo Kavor Ablorne restaurant for a bite to eat. The place was packed. Carawa ordered an ultra supreme supillo smoothie with whipped cream while Ryori got Bhourven wings in a medium spicy sauce with a side of space celery. Theo helped Ryori translate the menu, allowing him to order without inconveniencing the waiter. The table next to them was filled with a rowdy group of young men who were talking about buying pheromone strips from Zubal (a galactic warehouse) to get their girlfriends to put out more.
Woman and infant son[]
In the second scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Ryori and Carawa stopped by the Tabo Kavor Ablorne restaurant for a bite to eat. Shortly after they received their food and drinks, Akashiyaki entered the restaurant. He immediately walked over to a woman at a booth with her infant son and stole her bowl of soup, slurping up over half of its contents in one go. She was disgusted and demanded he pay for a new bowl. Akashiyaki didn't respond, instead moving on to his next victim.
Rithjilg[]
In the second scene of chapter 4, on June 28, Age 776, Ryori and Carawa stopped by the Tabo Kavor Ablorne restaurant for a bite to eat. While waiting for their food, they watched the Telepathic Karaoke Championship Age 776 finals between Rithjilg and Ziuhbanerk, who were Mrovians.
Ziuhbanerk[]

Namazaka[]
In the third scene of chapter 4, on July 2, Age 776, Ledas, Beelzebub, and Ryori brought Shebal Kaum and Akashiyaki to Galactic Patrol Penal Colony 114.
Namazaka offered them ₩14,725,050 in total for the bounties, although he asked them for their organization's name first, as he needed to document the transaction on his datapad. Beelzebub explained that they didn't have a name yet. The last penal colony had paid them in cash. That wouldn't be possible here, as Namazaka's prison was cashless. Ledas and Beelzebub argued about the name for a minute before Namazaka informed them that if they didn't have a name, he couldn't pay them. He was about to go on break as well, so they had to decide then and there.
Ledas complained about chasing Akashiyaki across the stars without getting paid. That gave Ryori an idea—they could call themselves the Starchasers. At first, Beelzebub and Ledas weren't too sure, thinking it was a tad lame. When Namazaka threatened to walk out on them, Beelz gave in, agreeing with Ryori. While Ledas didn't like it, he agreed to go along with the if it meant getting paid.
Namazaka added them to the database and transferred the money into their account, congratulating them for becoming an officially recognized bounty-hunting team. While the money was good, Ledas still couldn't help but feel peeved, as he considered Starchasers to be a lame name. He knew that despite Ryori's contributions toward that, he'd be going down on him later that night.
