This page lists the minor characters introduced in Spindlerun: The Tale of Yajirobe. The characters are listed in order of introduction:

Butcher

In chapter 1, Yajirobe visited his favorite butcher shop and tried to get some free meat, as he had not enough money to buy any. The butcher was unwilling to give him anything. He also told Yajirobe that the Red Ribbon Army was coming to town soon, so he would be closing up shop until they left, as they were notorious for looting and stealing from stores wherever they went. Then, he kicked the begging boy out of his shop.

Orange Star City citizens

After being kicked out of the butcher shop, Yajirobe noticed that many people were out in the streets of Orange Star City, preparing to leave before the Red Ribbon Army arrived. When Yajirobe and the other samurai recruits returned to Orange Star City, they found it to be a ghost town.

When Yajirobe, Harotu, Brian, and Nameless Child 2 went to Orange Star City at two in the morning and stole a car, they were surprised to see how many people were out and about so late at night. Yajirobe almost hit several pedestrians as he drove.

After General Blue shot Nameless Child 2, Yajirobe and Harotu ran into a department store to hide. They found many other pedestrians hiding in there too. The adults, seeing the bloody children, came up to them and offered them aid. Several of them watched General Blue fight Launch outside of a restaurant, with Launch herself getting lost in the crowd after she sneezed and reverted to her blue hair form.

Red Ribbon Army

In chapter 1, the butcher told Yajirobe that the Red Ribbon Army was coming to town soon, so he would be closing up shop until they left, as they were notorious for looting and stealing from stores wherever they went. After the boy returned outside, he noticed that many people were out in the streets of Orange Star City, preparing to leave before the Red Ribbon Army arrived. Yajirobe thought to himself that not even King Furry's guards could stand up to the Red Ribbon Army. Their impending arrival greatly frightened him.

In chapter 2, General Blue and his men remained waiting in the town square hoping to get a call from their client. Blue noted that he had ordered his men to burn down three blocks of houses in retaliation for what the Iboinoshishi School recruits had done to him the previous day. These soldiers later accompanied General Blue to Igaron mountain where they executed the monks of the Solipsist Colony as their client had requested.

Later, General Blue noted that his legion had been hired by a third party for a mercenary job, and due to the money they were willing to pay, Commander Red had given the green light. After changing into a new set of clothes, Blue marched his soldiers into Orange Star City, hoping for a warm reception from its citizens. They were ambushed by Yajirobe and the other samurai recruits who threw some jabillo fruit at them as a distraction in order to steal General Blue's hat.

After that insolent display, General Blue shot at them with his pistol, causing them to flee into a nearby building. Blue then ordered Captain Dark to lead the heavy weapons division up to building and destroy it. All of Blue's soldiers were distracted by the destruction of that building, which allowed Yajirobe to run up to their ranks and snatch General Blue's hat, which had fallen off after one of the jabillo fruits had exploded nearby him. After General Blue's eyebrows were singed off by Harotu, the general did not let any of his soldiers get near him for several hours, which delayed the setting up of their base of operations for a day. Many of his soldiers attested to the fact that Blue spent the whole night crying about the damage to his face.

In chapter 3, after General Blue's karaoke machine malfunctioned (as Yajirobe had driven a stolen hovercar into it), several of his soldiers consoled him. Later, after Blue shot Nameless Child 2, two of his guards went with him as he chased down Brian. After Blue accidentally shot Hasky in the shoulder (she had been trying to kill Brian herself), the three ran past her as she collapsed in the street. However, as soon as they passed her, she shot both of Blue's guards, killing them and just barely missing him.

King Furry's guards

In chapter 1, Yajirobe thought to himself that not even King Furry's guards could stand up to the Red Ribbon Army.

Samurai recruits

When Yajirobe reached the Iboinoshishi School, there were many other recruits there, all boys and girls around his age. Soon after, a samurai named Kumo came out to greet them. Her attendants followed, asking everyone their names. Kumo led the children into another room deeper inside the compound and ordered them to fall into a pose and hold it until she returned. She warned that anyone who moved from the pose, or grew too weak to maintain it, would be asked to leave the school and never return.

Almost all of the recruits failed this test, leaving only Yajirobe, Brian, Harotu, Anders, and nine others. After fifteen minutes had passed, Kumo returned, telling the remaining thirteen children that they had completed their first test. She told them that it was now time to commence the second test. They would need to steal the hat of General Blue when he and his legion of Red Ribbon Army soldiers entered Orange Star City later that day. Seven of the recruits refused to do so, for they thought they would be killed. Only Yajirobe, Brian, Harotu, Anders, and two others attempted the second test.

Iboinoshishi attendants

These attendants aided Kumo in the entrance exam for the Iboinoshishi School. They took all of the recruits names. Later, the six remaining recruits returned to the Iboinoshishi school and gave Kumo General Blue's hat, which completed their second test. She did not congratulate them, but ordered her servants to show the boys to their dormitory so they could sleep.

In chapter 2, when Yajirobe, Brian, Harotu, Anders, Nameless Child 1, and Nameless Child 2 woke up, the attendants took them to the dining hall and served them breakfast. After Elijah dueled with Anders, the attendants rushed out to the training grounds and, in panic, took the boy away on a stretcher. Later, six attendants accompanied Elijah and the recruits to the southern bridge in Orange Star City. They removed some rubble from the bridge before the group used it to train on. Once they were finished, they returned back to the Iboinoshishi School.

While Yajirobe, Brian, Harotu, and Nameless Child 2 trained in chapter 3, the attendants watched them but did not intervene or instruct them in any way.

Anders

Anders was one of the children who came to the Iboinoshishi School hoping to train to become a samurai. He, along with the rest of the recruits, attempted to complete the first test, which was maintaining a pose for several minutes without moving (until Kumo, their instructor, returned). Seven of the recruits refused to do so, for they thought they would be killed, but Anders agreed to attempt the second test.

The group of recruits soon returned to Orange Star City, finding it to be a ghost town. They wandered about, searching for the army. Eventually they heard the sound of marching soldiers approaching. Brian pointed out a house nearby that was owned by Mr. Parroda, who had several jabillo trees. He explained to the others that the jabillo fruit would explode if thrown at somebody and thought they should use that against General Blue in order to knock off his hat. The group quickly agreed to this strategy, and so Brian, Anders, and the two nameless children ran over to Mr. Parroda's house, jumped the fence, and grabbed some jabillo fruit.

They waited for the soldiers to come marching down the street, getting into position a few houses away, before throwing their jabillos. The fruit exploded, but did little damage to the soldiers, angering them more than anything else. General Blue shot at the four of them with his pistol, causing them to flee into a nearby building. Blue then ordered Captain Dark to lead the heavy weapons division up to building and destroy it. While the building was being leveled by the soldiers, Anders and the two nameless children fled out of a back door, gaining enough distance before the house exploded to save themselves. The six boys regrouped several blocks away, and Yajirobe proudly presented Blue's hat to them.

They returned to the Iboinoshishi school soon after and gave Kumo the hat. She did not congratulate them, but ordered her servants to show the boys to their dormitory so they could sleep. Later on, the Daimyo Elijah went to the dormitory to look upon the sleeping recruits with his own eyes. They each had a bunk bed, and all of them sans Brian were sleeping on their bottom bunk.

In chapter 2, Yajirobe, Brian, Harotu, Anders, Nameless Child 1, and Nameless Child 2 began their training at the Iboinoshishi School. When they woke up, the attendants took them to the dining hall and served them breakfast. As they ate, the group conversed about their harrowing mission the previous day. Harotu proudly recounted how he had saved Brian from General Blue. Brian gave Yajirobe credit for running so fast to get his hat.

Not long after, Elijah entered the dining hall and everyone went quiet. The daimyo introduced himself and after Brian told him that they were expecting the man to train them, he told them to follow him outside for their first session. Once outside, Elijah ordered them to show him how skilled they were in the art of sword fighting already. He gave them wooden sticks that had been carved in the likeness of katanas. He told them he could not trust them with real swords yet, which was disappointing to the recruits.

Anders was paired with Yajirobe. Their fight did not last long, as Anders disarmed Yajirobe with little effort and bragged that he was the greatest of the recruits. Elijah told them to stop after that, calling forward the three best duelers in his opinion - Brian, Harotu, and Nameless Child 1. This outraged Anders, for Brian had lost. He challenged the daimyo to a duel to show off how good his sword fighting skills were. Elijah accepted, telling them that he was always obligated to duel when challenged, no matter the competition. Anders then charged down Elijah with his bokken, but the daimyo jumped over him and then kicked him in the chest with a single toe. The boy dropped to the ground, not even able to scream, and appeared to have been severely wounded. He did not make another sound, but blood flowed from his mouth. At that moment, Elijah's attendants appeared and, in panic, took the boy away on a stretcher. Nobody at the Iboinoshishi School ever saw Anders again.

Nameless Child 1

Nameless Child 1 was one of the children who came to the Iboinoshishi School hoping to train to become a samurai. He, along with the rest of the recruits, attempted to complete the first test, which was maintaining a pose for several minutes without moving (until Kumo, their instructor, returned). After fifteen minutes had passed, Kumo returned, telling the remaining thirteen children that they had completed their first test. She told them that it was now time to commence the second test. He told them he could not trust them with real swords yet, which was disappointing to the recruits.

Nameless Child 1 was paired with Nameless Child 2. Nameless Child 1 beat Nameless Child 2 in their fight. At that moment, Elijah's attendants appeared and, in panic, took the boy away on a stretcher. Nobody at the Iboinoshishi School ever saw Anders again.

Elijah then told the remaining five recruits that he would not tolerate arrogance from them. He told them that none of them were exceptional yet, or more skilled than he had expected. His training would make them exceptional, but they should not have any false beliefs about their abilities so early into their training. Then, he walked off, their training for that morning having been completed.

The next night, Elijah took his recruits to the crumbling southern bridge in Orange Star City to train. He ordered six attendants to clear some rubble from it before they began. Once his attendants had done so, he dismissed them. Then, he told the children that their task was simple: reach the other end of the bridge without dying. The bridge, with so many holes in it, the gusting winds, and the roads crumbling, was a treacherous obstacle course to navigate. Brian said that he thought they would fall. Harotu told him that it wasn't as bad as it looked, because Elijah would never let them die. The daimyo gave no reply to that. Brian was incredulous, reminding Harotu of the dangerous mission to get General Blue's hat.

Then, having heard enough of their talk, Elijah began the training by leading them across the bridge. Everyone waited a few seconds before following. Harotu, Nameless Child 1, and Nameless Child 2 were the first to begin the obstacle course. When the explosives that Launch had rigged to the bridge went off, Nameless Child 1 was able to dodge most of them. He was the first to reach the daimyo when Elijah stopped near the end of the bridge. That was when the bullet Launch had sent towards Elijah hit Nameless Child 1 instead, ripping through his throat and killing him. He staggered for a few moments before falling through a hole in the bridge to the waters below.

In chapter 3, Yajirobe, Brian, Harotu, and Nameless Child 2 continued their training in the Iboinoshishi School. They used their bokkens on stuffed dummies. Not long into their training, Elijah appeared. All of the recruits huddled around the man, but before he could say anything, they demanded to know who had shot Nameless Child 1 and Elijah. He told them it was Makare.

Nameless Child 2

Nameless Child 2 was one of the children who came to the Iboinoshishi School hoping to train to become a samurai. He, along with the rest of the recruits, attempted to complete the first test, which was maintaining a pose for several minutes without moving (until Kumo, their instructor, returned). He witnessed the bullet Launch shot, hoping to kill Elijah, tear through Nameless Child 1's throat, which killed him. He staggered for a few moments before falling through a hole in the bridge to the waters below. Yajirobe, Nameless Child 2, and Harotu all dropped to the ground, fearful of being shot at. When no more shots came, they raised their heads and saw that the daimyo had been hit. Yajirobe ran over to him and noticed he was unconscious. He picked the man up, slinging him over a shoulder.

Just then, the bridge started to completely collapse. Everyone ran as fast as they could to the end of the bridge, though only Yajirobe and Elijah made it off the bridge. The other three - Brian having caught up to them - were on a small section of the bridge that had fallen ten feet below the road Yajirobe was standing on. They were clinging to pieces of bridge, trying not to fall off. Yajirobe ran off into the city to search for help.

He had not expected Makare to attack his recruits and promised the four of them that he would not allow the man to hurt them in the future. Then, he told them that they were going to do some new training that day and bade them follow him out of the school.

The daimyo and his samurai recruits went to Daniel Parroda's vineyard in Cardan where they met Mark, his younger brother. Elijah asked the boy for 157 barrels, for he planned on rolling them down a hill. Elijah paid for the barrels, handing Mark some zeni, and asked the boy to give that to his brother. Mark demanded to watch their training and Elijah agreed. Then, the daimyo and the recruits tied the barrels together and pulled them through the forest.

While they were going, Brian asked Elijah what they were going to be doing with the barrels. He told them that he was going to roll them down a hill at the recruits, forcing them to dodge the barrels. This shocked Brian, who said that they could die if they weren't fast enough. Elijah did not care, stating once more that they could leave his school at any time if the training got too intense for them. He also revealed that this barrel training was the first test his master had given to him at the school.

It took the five of them more than five hours to move all of the barrels to the chosen hill. Mark accompanied them, but did not help, instead incessantly talking to Elijah the whole time, which irritated the recruits. He boasted that he had filled two hundred barrels with wine that day - including the 157 Elijah had bought. The recruits didn't believe him, but Elijah confirmed it. When they finished moving all of the barrels, the sun was setting. Brian asked Elijah how he had completed this test back in the day, and Elijah showed them the seven-star Dragon Ball, stating that he had found that ball as a kid and the master let him use it during his training. None of them, even the daimyo, knew how it was sturdy enough not to shatter against the barrels.

Afterwards, they began their test. Elijah cut some barrels loose and rolled them down the hill at the four recruits, gradually increasing the pace over time. Brian thought that they should use their bokkens to stop the barrels from hitting them. Nameless Child 2 was decent at that strategy. After Harotu lost his bokken, he asked Nameless Child 2 to help him climb into a tree so he wouldn't have to dodge anymore. The boy agreed to help him up there. The training session finally came to a close with all four recruits succeeding in never getting hit by the barrels.

That night, Yajirobe lay in bed, unable to sleep. When he got up to go on a walk, he noticed Harotu was up too. The other boy and him talked outside of their dormitory, with Harotu putting forth the notion that the four recruits should have fun sometimes by going into the city some nights. Yajirobe was not really up for that, but Harotu did not want to go into the city by himself. Yajirobe suggested Harotu take Nameless Child 2 and Brian with him. Their talking caused Brian to wake up. Harotu told him the plan and the two of them began working out the best places to visit in the city. Soon after, Nameless Child 2 work up and joined in on the fun.

Their first idea was to sneak into a movie theater to see a movie for free. Then, they talked about getting food at some restaurant. Thirdly, they thought about going to Harotu's house to see his family. Finally, they decided to go back to the place where they had stolen General Blue's hat. They also wanted to steal a car. This piqued Yajirobe's interest, for stealing cars was one of his few passions in life. He agreed to go with them to Orange Star City.

They reached the city by two in the morning. Yajirobe found a car, hot-wired it, and drove them down the streets. He almost hit several pedestrians as he drove. He crashed the car in the town square after he hit a tent. When they got out of the mangled car, they heard General Blue singing a Justin Bieber song horrendously nearby. As the car had crashed into his karaoke machine, he grew angry at the device malfunctioning. He shot it four times with his pistol, demanding it to turn on again. When it did not, several of his soldiers consoled him.

Then, he noticed Yajirobe, Harotu, Brian, and Nameless Child 2. In a rage, he raised his pistol at them. He fired once, hitting Nameless Child 2 in the head and killing him.

Captain Dark

Captain Dark accompanied General Blue and the Blue Corps. to Orange Star City. He handed the general his capsule full of fresh clothes before they did so. Later, he and the rest of Blue's men followed him into the city. After the Blue Legion was attacked by Brian, Anders, and the two nameless children with exploding jabillo fruit, General Blue shot at them with his pistol, causing them to flee into a nearby building. Blue then ordered Captain Dark to lead the heavy weapons division up to building and destroy it.

Commander Red

In chapter 1, General Blue noted that his legion had been hired by a third party for a mercenary job, and due to the money they were willing to pay, Commander Red had given the green light.

In chapter 2, after General Blue got a text message from his client, Daniel, telling him what the Blue Legion's mission was in Orange Star City, the general felt a little unnerved by what he had to do. He reminded himself that Commander Red had trusted him with this task, and thus he had no choice but to do it.

Brian's mother

When Brian, Yajirobe, Harotu, Anders, and the two nameless recruits were formulating a strategy to steal General Blue's hat, Brian brought up that his mother had known a man named Mr. Parroda. Pointing out the man's house, Brian got an idea for how to get the hat by using the jabillo

Brian's brother

When Brian was explaining the jabillo fruit to the other samurai recruits, he mentioned that he and his brother had used to play at Mr. Parroda's house and had messed around with the jabillo fruit, leading to some pretty bad injuries.

Elijah's master

Near the end of chapter 1, Kumo and Elijah talked about how the previous master of the Iboinoshishi School had let Elijah into the school even though he had been a country boy - the first to be allowed into the school.

In chapter 3, Elijah told his four remaining recruits that the barrel test - rolling barrels down a hill and forcing the recruits at the bottom to dodge them - was the first test his master had given him when he joined the school.

Solipsist Colony

In chapter 2, Makare met with Naigo on the side of Igaron mountain. Naigo told him that his training in creating ki attacks with the Solipsist Colony, a group of forty-nine monks, was still ongoing, though their constant philosophical debates were draining his patience. Naigo showed him a ki blast, but it wasn't very large. He promised to complete his training with the monks within a few weeks. These monks were later killed by the Red Ribbon Army after the Blue Legion was hired by Daniel to perform that task.

In chapter 3, Naigo updated Makare on his ki control training, stating it would only take him one more week to master. The two samurai were unaware that the monks had been murdered earlier that morning. The next day, Naigo stumbled upon the dead solipsist monks in their lair inside Igaron mountain and grew furious. He immediately suspected Daniel.

Naigo called up Makare to tell him what had happened. Makare asked him if the monks had kept manuscripts for their training sessions, and Naigo said that they did. This was a relief for both of them, as it meant that Naigo would be able to teach himself how to master ki control, although it would take much longer for him to do so without having a teacher guiding him. Makare ordered Naigo to dispose of the bodies before he and the rest of their army took arrived to take up residence in the monks' cave in Igaron mountain.

Naigo told one of the corpses that he was going to eat him that night, implying that he was going to cannibalize at least some of the dead men.

Launch

In chapter 2, Launch met with Makare and Naigo on the side of Igaron mountain. Naigo did not seem to like her. Makare told her that Elijah, the Daimyo of the Iboinoshishi School, had begun taking in new students. He put out a hit on the students, as well as Elijah, if she could manage it. Launch agreed to try and then left. Naigo was annoyed that Makare had not mentioned their alliance with Launch beforehand and also did not believe that she would succeed in her mission. Makare agreed, thinking that she would serve more as a distraction than anything else.

Later, Launch used a TC-150 anti-material long rifle to snipe at Elijah, Yajirobe, Brian, Harotu, Nameless Child 1, and Nameless Child 2. The group was training on the crumbling southern bridge in Orange Star City. With them were six attendants who were clearing some rubble from the bridge. She waited for them to leave before proceeding and verified the identities of all the samurai before attacking them. She had also rigged the bridge with explosives the night before.

When the group began running across the bridge, she detonated the explosives one by one, which she believed killed several of the recruits. Then, she aimed for Elijah. When he stopped near the end of the bridge, waiting for his pupils to catch up, she took her shot. However, just then, Nameless Child 1 came to a stop right in front of Elijah and took the bullet to the throat, killing him. The bullet tore through him and hit Elijah in the upper leg, significantly wounding him. She believed this killed him. As she did not see any other students who had survived the detonations, she left, deciding to return to Makare with the good news.

In chapter 3, Naigo asked Makare what had happened with Launch. The other samurai said he had not heard from her yet, but was not worried, for he did not believe that Daniel would have killed her. Later, Launch was seen in Orange Star City relaxing following her destruction of the southern bridge the previous night. She was annoyed by the Red Ribbon Army soldiers making a ruckus in the city. She noted that she had inspected the collapsed bridge after shooting Elijah, though she had not found any bodies. She decided to celebrate a bit with some bar hopping before calling up Makare.

When she decided to call Makare, she noticed General Blue singing a Justin Bieber song, which distracted her until Yajirobe crashed a hovercar into the karaoke machine. She called up Makare, but he didn't answer, so she left him a message stating that she had killed Elijah and his five students. She demanded that Makare pay her. Then, she noticed that the four boys crawling out of the wreckage of the crashed hovercar were some of Elijah's recruits (recognizing Yajirobe in particular).

Outraged that they had somehow survived her attack the previous night, she dropped to a knee, unshouldered her sniper rifle, and aimed it at them. Before she could shoot, General Blue shot Nameless Child 2 in the head, killing him. As the other three ran off, she chased after them. She reached Brian, drawing a knife after he kicked her off of him. The boy managed to evade her in close quarters long enough for General Blue's next shot, which was aimed at him, to hit Launch in the shoulder. Brian ran off, and General Blue pursued him with two of his guards.

As they ran past the woman, she shot both of Blue's guards, just barely missing him. Outraged, Blue stopped his pursuit of Brian and fired upon Launch. However, he missed. She fired at him and missed. He ran up to her before she could get another shot off and kicked her across the face. She managed to punch him, and then the two rolled around on the ground, trying to suffocate one another. Blue's aversion to women made him indecisive, and eventually he had to jump off of her.

However, Launch was still armed with a snub pistol. She fired it at him, but his body armor was strong enough to absorb all but one of the bullets (which knicked him on his arm between the pieces of armor). Then, she threw a chair at him. He ran at her, but she threw a ketchup bottle at his face, which broke his nose and dazed him, sending him to the ground. He was barely conscious as Launch jumped on him and tried to suffocate him. Blue rolled around as she held onto his throat, knocking over tables. One of those tables had salt and pepper condiments on it, and when they knocked it over in their fighting, the two shakers landed on them, causing Launch to sneeze and revert to her blue hair form. When General Blue got to his feet, he could hardly see or breathe. He did not notice that the blue-haired woman who stood amongst the pedestrians dining at the restaurant he had just fought his way through was actually Launch.

Later, when Naigo called up Makare on the phone, Makare told him that Launch had sent him a message stating that she had killed Elijah and his pupils, which Makare did not entirely believe.

Yajirobe's mother

In chapter 2, during his first breakfast at the Iboinoshishi School, Yajirobe found bacon and thought it was the most delicious thing in the world. He asked everyone what it was. Harotu told him and was shocked that Yajirobe had never encountered it before. He asked if Yajirobe's mother had ever cooked it before. Yajirobe had not known his mother, however. His father had never spoken of her.

Daniel's housemates

In chapter 2, Daniel noted that his house reeked of mandarin oranges due to his roommates. Later, one of his female roommates entered his room to converse with him about something, though he was tired and his leg still hurt from a wound he had sustained in a boxing match the previous night.

Daniel's servants

In chapter 2, Daniel thought that perhaps one of his servants had been in his room and moved the box with the Dragon Ball on top of three books. Then, he remembered that he told them not to clean his room that day and had locked the door. Since he had the only key, it was not possible for them to have entered his room.

Mr. Satan

In chapter 3, Elijah and his samurai recruits went to Daniel Parroda's vineyard in Cardan where they met Mark, his younger brother. Elijah asked the boy for 157 barrels, for he planned on rolling them down a hill. Elijah paid for the barrels, handing Mark some zeni, and asked the boy to give that to his brother. Mark demanded to watch their training and Elijah agreed.

Mark accompanied the group as they moved the barrels to the hill, but did not help, instead incessantly talking to Elijah the whole time, which irritated the recruits. He boasted that he had filled two hundred barrels with wine that day - including the 157 Elijah had bought. The recruits didn't believe him, but Elijah confirmed it.

As the recruits dodged the barrels that Elijah cut loose, Mark screamed from the top of the hill, wishing for the barrels to hit the recruits. Unfortunately for him, the four kids were expert dodgers. The training session finally came to a close with all four recruits succeeding in never getting hit by the barrels. Walking down the hill with Mark, he asked the boy to tell his brother Daniel that he wanted to meet with him soon, as it had been a long time since they had seen each other. Mark agreed to relay the message.

Harotu's family

In chapter 3, while discussing where to run off to in the city to have some fun, Harotu floated the idea of visiting his family. Ultimately, the samurai recruits did not go to see his family.

Makare's Band

In chapter 3, after learning of the deaths of the solipsist monks, Makare ordered Naigo to bring all of their samurai to the monks' cave in Igaron mountain, as he planned on using them against Elijah (assuming Launch had lied about killing them) in his future assault of the Iboinoshishi School. Naigo was unconvinced that the low-level samurai would be worth using, as Elijah would be able to kill all of them single-handedly. Nevertheless, he agreed to bring their soldiers to that cave when Makare reminded him that Elijah's pupils would surely die to their men.
