The Interstellar Empire is a despotic intergalactic government that dominates majority of the known north galaxy in the Mirror Universe. An Emperor is the supreme ruler of the Empire who has total power. The Empire was first discovered in Age 772 when an ASV Defiance was pulled from the prime universe and was captured by imperial forces. It was then that the Empire discovered the Multiverse and already made plans for a invasion of the Prime Universe. The only ones that are able to oppose them is the Interspecies Republic. The Empire and the Republic have been at war since Age 747, and the war is at a stalemate.
History[]
Based on the reports from the Republic, much of the history is similar to the Prime universe.
The Interstellar Empire rose to power in Age 595 when Ancient technology from Star Tech Innovation was found. The technology was quick understood and utilized by the end of the decade. The shift from medieval age to tech age was quick. New, shining cities were build. Lives improved and a new empire roses when Terran kind united. The space age came and the empire spread its influence at the end of the century. The empire underwent many rulers and dynasty. But, the Pilaf Dynasty of 730 - 740 was considered the Golden Age. The Empire was very powerful and benevolent under Emperor Pilaf. Technology sharing, humanitarian aid, and galactic protection.
In Age 741, an cruel, power hungry, ambitions Captain named Mercury rose to power. Gaining allies and reputation. He claims that there are threats the can destroy the empire and Pilaf is to kind and naive to see. Mercury staged fake evidence of the so called galactic threat perfectly and accuses Pilaf of succumbing to mind control. He staged a military coup and assassinated Pilaf and assumed the role as Emperor of the Interstellar Empire.
