Hyper Kaioken is an advanced variant of the original Kaioken technique. It was first introduced in New Dragon Ball, and used by a student of Paks', Gotek.

Appearance[]

The Hyper Kaioken gives off an aura, and hue, similar to that of a Kaioken, but it's flow is more "unstable". The Hyper Kaioken's base color is a bright orange, and also gives off a yellow and red-like color.

Usage and Power[]

Kaioken Differences

The difference in appearance between Kaioken and Hyper Kaioken

To use a Hyper Kaioken, one must condense the energy within his own body. Once done, the user will use the core Kaioken technique, producing a Hyper Kaioken. It creates a power so great, the user could, most likely, overcome most opponents, but with a strength this largely magnified, it can only be held for a split second (which is all the time you'll need, any way).

Explanation[]

As we already know— a normal Kaioken was meant to magnify one's power level to make the user stronger. However when your ki is condensed within yourself, it becomes unstable (hence the unstable aura side effect). When this energy is magnified using a Kaioken, the power output is immeasurable. The reason this can only be held for a split second (shorter than a normal Kaioken) is because the user is magnifying their ki while trying to keep it condensed, when the ki itself "wants" to become larger. Since a normal Kaioken doesn't require one to condense their energy, it makes their ki expand unnaturally, causing muscles to enlarge, which causes stress on the body. A Hyper Kaioken definitely causes stress, greater than a normal Kaioken, but only after it has been performed (when the Hyper Kaioken is done, your condensed energy is released from its boundaries, causing harmful fluctuations within the users own body, damaging organs, muscles, and most other internal workings of the body.)
