Kakarot: Once again, they give us a planet with another weak species. I want a real fight!
Raditz: Patience little brother, you’ll get your chance soon.
Two saiyan pods enters Earth's atmosphere and crash lands in a small city. The citizens in the area surround the large crater made by the pods and were amazed to see aliens for the first time, and even more amazed to see that these two aliens that came out of the pods looked like humans with brown tails. The two Saiyans levitates into the air about 6 meter from the ground. Spectators took pictures and recorded videos, even a news crew came and began to broadcast it globally.
Newswomen: We brings this to you live at Top City. We are now seeing from what it appears to be two aliens floating in the air. It would seem that the answer to if we are alone in the universe has been answered. Wait a minute, (Camera zooms in on Raditz) one of the aliens with long hair is raising his hand. It looks like he is saying… (Transmission cut)
Somewhere in room that looked like a control center, a large screen that showed the newswomen blacks out. two people were standing watching the large screen, when suddenly the alarms sound.
Male Officer: Director Raily, Satellite imaging shows that 90% of Top City has been completely destroyed! It looks like their next target is Sentra City and they are moving fast! They will reach the city in less than 20 minutes.
Director Raily: Sentra City is close to us. Star Team, you’re up, do not let them reach their next target.
Lieutenant Mercury: Understood Director. (Runs out the control room to the barracks. He then enters and 3 men stand at attention.) Gear up, this is Threat level: Slug, we go in at full power!
The Star Team is led by Lieutenant Mercury, and his second in command Sergeant Jac with Private Lawson and Clayton. They all put on their EDF armor and made their way out to the airfield. There, EDF personnel was running around doing varies jobs as well as sending rescue teams via aerial transports to Top City. The Star team then flies off in a arrow shape formation to intercept the threat. Meanwhile, the Saiyans are flying towards the Sentra city when they stopped suddenly due to their scouters beeping on the left eye.
Raditz: Well what do you know, I’m picking up high power levels coming this way.
Kakarot: Yea, and the strongest is 850! (They both waited until the Star Team arrived.)
Mercury: Identify yourselves! Why have you committed this act of war!
Raditz: Is it not obvious? This planet would sale high in the market. And we Saiyans plan on cleansing the planet of this filth.
Clayton: Saiyan? What’s a Saiyan?
Kakarot: Saiyans are a mighty warrior race hailing from Planet Sadala. I am Kakarot and this is my brother Raditz.
Mercury: Well, then I am Lieutenant Mercury, and we are the Earth Defense Fighters, Star Team Division. I'm going to ask you once; Leave our planet or we will use force.
Raditz: OHHH! Hear that brother, it looks like you will get your fight.
With that the two saiyan fly down to the surface below on a green pasture. The Star Team followed. When they landed, Lawson leans over to Jac and whispers.
Lawson: I scanned their power, the one called Kakarot is 1000 and Raditz is 1200! Do you think we can win?
Jac: We have to win. 8 billion lives are counting on us, we cannot lose. If we defeated Slug, then we will certainly defeat these Saiyans.
Mercury: We'll pair off then. Lawson and Clayton will take Kakarot, Jac and I will take Raditz. Remember your training and we will win.
While they paired off and faced their foes, Raditz and Kakarot stood tall, and the four Humans lowered into their fighting stance. Mercury and Jac are the first to charge at a smirking Raditz. Lawson and Clayton followed suit and charged at Kakarot. The humans started with a strong offense against the Saiyans. Mercury and Jac kept putting pressure on Raditz as he continues to dodge, block and parry their attacks. Lawson and Clayton too were putting pressure on Kakarot, but the saiyan soon saw an opening and thrusts a kick at Clayton which impacts and sends him flying few meters away. He then focuses on Lawson, who struggles to keep up with the Saiyan. Raditz too sees an opening and counters Mercury's haymaker with a roundhouse kick, sending him airborne. He then fires a Ki wave at Mercury who barely dodges it, but a piece of his armor is seared. The beam impacts a nearby mountain and completely destroys it in a massive explosion. Mercury realizes that they can't beat them with sheer power, they would have to use tactics.
Kakarot gains the upper hand and dominates Lawson and Clayton. In a desperate attempt, the two humans fired a combined Ki wave at the saiyan. Kakarot opens his mouth and a Ki wave burst forth and consumes the combine Ki wave along with Lawson and Clayton, killing them in the process. Jac get distracted with the death of Lawson and Clayton and takes a hit in his back from Raditz which sends him crashing through a small batch of trees.
Kakarot: Whew! I'll gives them this, they can fight.
Mercury stood at a distance and is joined by Jac who wipes away blood from his lips.
Jac: This isn't good, they are too strong for us to take them one-on-one.
Mercury: Remember fighting Slug? He too was strong, but we won. We have to fight smart with these two. Like Master Mutaito said.
Jac: Anticipation... got it.
Mercury then charges at Raditz and Jac at Kakarot. When Mercury got close, he throw a punch at Raditz. Raditz sees it coming and was about to counter, but suddenly he felt intense pressure in the middle of his chest. He looks down and see that Mercury kicked him dead in his chest. It broke a piece of his armor. This surprise attack also dazed him. Mercury then then ki-laces his fist and throws haymakers, one after another at Raditz’s face. Kakarot charges at Jac, who anticipates that the saiyan would attack his right side. Just like he anticipates, Kakarot does an afterimage and attacks his right side with haymaker. Jac blocks it, grabs the saiyan's arm and flips him on his back. Later, Raditz regain his composure and attempts to counter Mercury with a point blank ki blast to his chest, but Mercury anticipates it and counters with a one-inch punch in his chest knocking him a few meters back.
Raditz: How is this Possible!? Me!? Getting overpowered by a mere earthling!?
Mercury (panting): I’m not done yet.
Mercury then powers up and charge a yellow Ki energy in his right hand. Raditz’s scouter then begins to beep rapidly, he presses the button and is shocked at what he sees.
Raditz: What’s with this Power!? It over a 1000! Unbelievable, and it still going up. (Mercury then extends his hand towards Raditz.)
Mercury: VITAL OUTPUT BLAST!
A large beam explodes from Mercury’s hand towards Raditz. The saiyan attempts to dodges, but Mercury uses the beam to follow him. Raditz finally turns around and stick out both hands to block it. The beam impacts him he is consumed in a massive explosion. The smoke clears and he is seen still hold out his burnt and sizzling hands with his gauntlets completely blown away. Raditz realizes that it took him almost all his power to survive it. Mercury looks at the corner of his eye and see that Jac is about to throw a mighty punch with everything he has at Kakarot. Mercury then dashed at Raditz, who lower into a fighting stance, but suddenly Mercury stops and puts his hands up to face and yells, “SOLAR FLARE!” Raditz screams in pain and is blind. Mercury dash behind Kakarot and puts him in a full nelson and then evades just in time as Jac fist connects with Kakarot’s face. BOOM! The Saiyan tailspins into the air and land next to Raditz unconscious. Raditz regain his sight and sees Mercury and Jac standing side by side in their fighting stance facing him. He looks down and see his brother unconscious.
Jac: That was for Lawson and Clayton.
Raditz: This can't be! Humans were supposed to be weak! There is no way I will be beaten by Humans!
Raditz then takes out a device and presses a button calling their pods. He picks up his brother and place him in the second pod and enters his pod, and before the pod closes, he looks at the Humans with a wicked smile.
Raditz: Enjoy the rest of your miserable lives, because in one year, 6 more Saiyans will come, and they are 3 times stronger than we are. You made a grave mistake, making the Saiyan Imperium your enemy.
The pods close and launch into the air. Mercury and Jac collapse to the ground extremely tired. Jac calls for a medical unit to pick them up and bring them back to EDF Headquarters.
After receiving treatment and a promotion, Director Raily debriefs them. Mercury and Jac report that 6 more Saiyans will come to earth in one year.
Director Raily: In one year? That's a short amount of time to prepare. However, we have to try, any suggestion?
Captain Mercury: I heard that Capsule Corp has developed a prototype gravity chamber. We could use that to get stronger.
Lieutenant Jac: We also need more strong members for the Star Team.
Piccolo: I can assist as well.
Everyone is startled to see that Piccolo was with them the whole time. He literally appeared out of nowhere.
Jac: Piccolo! Good to see you again.
Piccolo: Likewise my friend. I can take only one person to King Kai. He has agreed to help train them for the coming threat.
Raily (leans back in his chair and scratched his head): Ok then, I’ll send my strongest. Captain, you are now assigned with Piccolo. He will take you to train with this King Kai. Train hard, because we need it. Also Lieutenant, I want you to hand pick new members for the Star Team. Train them hard as well.
Mercury and Jac: Understood Director.
Piccolo: Mr. Popo will assist in training the Star Team as well.
Mercury: Alright, shall we go?
Piccolo smiled and nods. Mercury places his hand on his shoulder and they vanished. They appear on a long road that looked like a giant snake.
Mercury: What is this place?
Piccolo: This is Snakeway. Remember climbing to get to the Lookout? That was a trial of endurance. This is too, but much more difficult and longer. Get to the end and you will meet King Kai. Be careful not to fall off, it will take you to a void dimension where you will be lost to time. Farewell.
Piccolo then vanishes.
Mercury: Well better get moving.
At high speeds, Mercury starts his travel. As time passes, he sees and palace on the side. Curious, he stops in front of it. He then starts to get a bad vibe off of it, so he continues. Meanwhile, back on earth. The Star Team trained rigorously with Mr. Popo and in the gravity room. They grew incredible strong, but it seems it was not enough. However, that did not stop them. Director Raily was able to convince the World Council to approve to launch an early warning network of satellites that covered space zones from Earth to Pluto. Meanwhile after 2 months, Mercury finally reaches the end of Snakeway. He looked around and is confused.
Mercury: Okay I’m here, but there’s nothing. (Looks up) Is that it? Well, one way to find out.
He flies towards it, but suddenly feels immense weight that pulls him to the small planet. He screams as he impacts the small world flat on his chest.
Mercury: Whoa! What…is up… with this place!?
Mercury struggles to lift himself from the ground. He staggers to his feet and was breathing hard.
King Kai: Well, you must be Mercury.
Mercury looks up and see a tall pale-purple man with antennas standing before him with his hands behind his back.
Mercury (panting): Yes, and you must be King Kai. I was sent here to receive your training.
King Kai: So I heard. And they expect me to train a human to beat a Saiyan?
Mercury (getting accustomed to the high gravity): If I was able to beat the previous one, then I should be able to defeat the ones coming.
King Kai: Doubtful, but I owe Piccolo a favor. Ok, Let's get started!
Meanwhile on Planet Sadala in a throne room. Two female saiyans are viewing a screen showing the battle between their Saiyans and the Star Team.
Queen Hanasia: Who are these Earthlings? Beside the other two that were easily eliminated, they were able to defeat them.
General Lee'sa: The one with the thick hair is called Mercury and the bald one is Jac. They say that they are the Star Team from the Earth Defense Fighters. Mercury level is 850 and Jac is 825.
Hanasia: Pathetic Low class. The earthlings think we will give up that easily? Lee’sa, which group is closest to Earth.
Lee'sa: Bardock and his elite squad.
Hanasia: Sent them to Earth then. However, I want you to prepare an invasion force. “If” Bardock fails, then I want you go.
Lee'sa: Yes my Queen, it shall be done.
(As Lee'sa walks out the through room, she glances back at the screen and took notice of Mercury. When she exits, Hanasia place her hand on her concealed growing stomach. Lee’sa heads for the spaceport to board her battleship when she is approached by Inya, Pinnu, Celar and Potao)
Pinnu: It's true then. These Earthlings caused two low classes to retreat?
Lee'sa: It is, but I will send Bardock’s team there. However, the queen wants me to prepare an invasion force.
Inya: Once again, we are going to annihilate another species that are just defending their home. Just like the Ploriens. (Lee'sa glares at Inya for moment and turns to Pinnu)
Lee’sa: Pinnu, you're with me. Let’s go to the spaceport. Our Battleship is readying to launch and rendezvous without Invasion fleet at Kanassae.

Act II[]
The Return[]
8 Months later, alarms begin to sound at EDF Headquarters. Director Raily exits his office to the control center.
Raily: Report!
Male EDF Officer: Pluto Satellite has detected six bogeys passing by the planet.
Female EDF Officer: Confirmed, the identification matches the Saiyan attack pods 10 months ago.
Raily: They're early? Have the Star Team on Standby and get me Piccolo.
Meanwhile on King Kai’s planet, Mercury is sitting in the grass with his legs crisscrossed and his arm folded has his whole body is glowing in crimson red. He loses his focus when he hears King Kai yell, “Whaaat!” Mercury hops to his feet and runs to his mentor in his home.
Mercury: What happen!?
King Kai: The Saiyans have enter the Sol System!
Mercury: They’re Early!? I have to go!
King Kai: Mercury, even with the Kaioken, I feel that it would be enough.
Mercury: It will have to do, I’ve learned so much and I have become more powerful than before. I have to win. Thank you for help. Tell my director that I am on my way.
Mercury then exits the house and blast off at incredible speed at Snakeway and back to the head to meet Piccolo. Meanwhile on Earth, the Star Team gears up for the Saiyans.
Diane: I hope Captain Mercury gets here in time.
Jackson: Yeah, These Saiyans are 3 times stronger than the one he and the Lieutenant faced.
Sergeant Nicholson: Enough. They won that battle and so will we. I don’t want to hear any negative chatter. Is that Clear?
Jackson, Diane, and Gabriel: Yes Sir!
Jac enters the room in full gear with woman also in full gear behind him whose name is Private Hannah. The Star Team stood at attention.
Jac: At ease, Star Team prepare to deploy. It is confirmed that the Saiyans will land in the western wasteland.
Gabriel: That’s about 50 miles from West City.
Hannah: That is correct, and that will be their first target.
Jac: They land in 20 minutes, let’s move out.
The Star Team makes their way to the airfield and blast off at incredible speeds to the western wasteland.
20 minutes later, the Saiyan attack pods impact the area make a large crater. With hissing noise, it opens. The first one to step on the ground was a female saiyan. Her name is Gine. She looks around the area and admires the green fields full of wildflowers.
Gine: This place is beautiful.
She is joined by another Saiyan; Bardock who leads the squad. Shugesh, Tora, Fasha, and Borgos join them and survey their surroundings. Suddenly their scouters begin to beep. They look toward the direction it was point and see six humans landing meters away from where they stood.
Shugesh: So, this is the so-called Star Team?
Bardock observed the humans and realized that one was missing. He recognized Jac from Raditz’s scouter recording. Fasha taps on her scouter and scans the humans and is not impressed.
Fasha: Their strongest is the bald one. He’s only 3,250.
Borgos: Hmph! Not even a threat.
Jac (steps forward): I’m Lieutenant Jac of the Earth Defense Fighters, Star Team Division. This is as far as you will go Saiyans. Leave Earth at once or we will use force.
Bardock (Laughs): I would love to see that Earthling.
Shugesh: Hey Bardock, what's the rush? Why don’t we have some fun these Earthlings? I brought the Saibamen along.
Tora: I do want to see what they are capable of.
Bardock nods as Shugesh takes out a small brown bag. He then proceeds to dig small holes and plant eight strange looking seeds. Almost instantly it grows into short green planet-like alien. The Star Team were startled at the sight of it.
Fasha: Who’s first?
Nicholson: Me! (Steps forward) And I want to fight all of them.
Jaxson: Sargent are you out of your mind!? (Nicholson turns his head towards him and gives a confident smile)
Bardock (Scans Nicholson and it reads 1,950): Someone has a death wish. He asked for it.
Nicholson steps forward and is encircled by 8 Saibamens. Nicholson stood tall with a stoic face. The Saibamens lower in their attack stance and slowly move closer to him. Then one of the creatures' dashes at Nicholson at full speed. Nicholson stood still as the creature got closer and closer. Then suddenly, Nicholson vanishes for its sight. BOOM! Nicholson strikes the creature in the chest with his right elbow, sending the creature flying back. The other seven then attack the human with kicks and slashes with their claws. Nicholson was dodging, blocking and countering with ease. The first Saibamen that attack flanks the human. Its head splits open and shoots out a white fluid. Nicholson dodges it and the fluid continues toward the Star Team. They all jumped out the way as the fluid splash on the ground. It then melts through the ground. The stared in shock to see that it was extremely acidic. Nicholson goes on the offensive. He grabs the second Saibamen by the neck, breaks it, and then hurls the body at another three Saibamen dashing at him. The force of the throw impacts them and send them to the ground dazed. Nicholson at inhuman speeds proceeds to strike the remaining 5 with karate chop to their neck and hurls them to ground, pile them up with the other three. He flies right above them and sticks out both of his hands and fires a Ki wave at them and completely destroys all the Saibamen. When the smoke clears there is nothing left. He lands a few meters away from the Saiyans. He looks at them and brushes his shoulder. He then turns and rejoins his teammates who are cheering for him.
Shugesh: What!? Impossible!
Fasha: Looks like you got a weak batch there Shugesh.
Shugesh: No way! These are the same one in the crazy battle at Tritek!
Tora: And what’s their power?
Shugesh: The same as… a low class.
Shugesh: It doesn’t matter. Because I’m next. Who’s going to be the next fighter?
Gabriel (steps forward): I will be your opponent.
Nicholson (passes him and place his hand on his shoulder): Be careful.
Gabriel: Don’t worry, I got this.
Gabriel steps forward facing the fat Saiyan as the wind blows. The Saiyan smirks at the Human, who is getting into his fighting stance. The Saiyan follow suit. Gabriel was the first to move, he use his solar flare and blinds Shugesh who screams in pain and covers his eyes. Gabriel then closes the distance by going low by sweeping the Saiyan’s legs and roundhouse kicks the saiyan a couple a feet away. Shugesh regains his sight and stops himself, he looks mad from that attack. However, Gabriel was not done, he closes the distance again, Shugesh sees him coming and throws a punch, but the human barely dodges it by ducking low and coming up with an uppercut, dazing the saiyan for a bit. Gabriel then finishes off by grabbing the fat saiyan’s legs picking him up with all of his might and slamming him on the ground make a small crater. He backs away panting. Shugesh get on his feet like nothing happened, pieces of his armor fell off. Shock and horror appear on Gabriel’s face. Even the Star Team was shocked.
Shugesh (brushing of dirt): That was impressive picking me up like that! You actually broke pieces of my armor!
Gabriel: No way! I threw everything at him!
Shugesh (popping his knuckles): Now then, I guess it’s my turn.
The saiyan brings his arms to a 90-degree angle and bends his knees. The ground began to shake has he was powering up. Dust and rock began to float and rush around him. The Star Team had to shield their face and hold their ground from the power of the saiyan. Shugesh is then enveloped in a light blue aura. He looks at fear faced Gabriel with a wicked grin. Then at inhuman speeds he charges at him and throws a power strike at the human. Gabriel barely dodges it by jumping back, but Shugesh was too fast for him. He again closes the distance and strikes again, this time Gabriel attempts to block it with his left arm, but it was not enough. Gabriel arm is torn off from that strike. He howls in agonizing pain and falls to his knees. He is then met with kick to the chest that sends him flying through a boulder in the field. Jaxson and Diane watched in anger and was ready to join in the fight, but Jac stood in front of them.
Diane: Lieutenant, what are you doing!? Gabriel is going to die if we don’t help him!
Jac: We have to hold just a little while longer until Mercury comes. Gabriel knew the risk when he stepped forward.
Jaxson: So we’re just going to watch him Die!?
Jac was silent, he wanted to help too, but he knew that if they help, the other Saiyans would jump in as well. Gabriel staggers to his feet holding the bloody wound that was his left arm. Shugesh walks to him and tosses his severed arm to him. Gabriel looks at and is filled with rage.
Gabriel: I will not lose! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST COME TO OUR PLANET AND TAKE IT!? I DON’T THINK SO!! (Charges at Shugesh) RRRAAAAHHHHH!
Gabriel throws an onslaught of kicks and punches with his only arm at the Shugesh. Each attack was blocked with ease with cocky smirk on his face. Then Shugesh knees him in the chest and punches him in the face pushing him back. Gabriel was losing blood and getting tired, but he would not relent. Gabriel dashes for one final attack, but the saiyan strikes him on the side of his neck, breaking it and killing him. His limp body falls face first to the ground.
Shugesh: You put up a valiant effort Earthling.
Jaxson, Diane and Hannah: NO!
The three fighters blast straight to Shugesh and throw a combined punch at the saiyan sending him flying, they continued to pursue, but are intercepted by Gine and Fasha. Diane and Hannah fight with the two saiyaness while Jaxson continues for Shugesh. Diane and Hannah began to clash with Gine and Fasha. Nicholson jumps in and takes on Borgos while Jac and Tora go at it. A brawl erupts between the Humans and the Saiyans. Bardock continued to stand by and watch.
Later, Mercury arrives to the head of Snakeway and meets Piccolo there. They teleport back to the Lookout.
Piccolo: You have to hurry; things are taken a turn for the worse for the Star Team. (Hands him a pouch) Take these with you, the EDF calls them Dermoshot, they are filled with synthesize Senzu. It's not instant restoration like the bean but it is fast acting.
Mercury: Thank you, Piccolo. (Mercury turns and dashes towards the edge of the Lookout with incredible speeds and jumps off and rockets away). This is not good; I’m sensing 3 power levels. Oh no! Now there is two left! Must go faster.
Mercury rockets through skies at incredible speeds. Meanwhile, Nicholson impacts a large boulder that shatters it into pieces. he is unconscious. Borgos proceeds to fire a ki wave at the down human, but Jac jumps in front of him and blocks it as it explodes. When the smoke clears, both of his arms burned, he falls to his knees exhausted. He looks to his left and sees the corpses of Jaxson and Diane and to his right, the remains of Hannah. He looks forward at the Saiyans who are standing a couple meters away from him.
Tora: I have to say, you earthlings are impressive fighters.
Bardock: But it was all in vain. We saiyans are a mighty warrior race, no one can stand to our might.
Suddenly, all their scouters began to beep rapidly. They look to the direction of this new power level. At great speeds, Mercury lands with the wind blowing behind him. He looks at the saiyans and stands tall. He sees the injured Jac and unconscious Nicholson. He jumps over to them and kneels.
Jac: About time, you got here.
Mercury: I came as fast as I could, what’s the sit rep?
Jac: We lost Gabriel, Hannah, Diane and Jaxson. Nicholson is unconscious, but alive.
Mercury (gives the dermoshot): Here take this, it will heal you both. Then fall back to HQ. I will handle the rest.
Jac (administering the Dermoshot): Careful, these saiyans are tough.
Mercury (Glaring at the Saiyans while standing up): So am I.
Jac administer the dermoshot to Nicholson, picks him up and flies off to base. Mercury approaches the Saiyans with a serious face. He glances at the remains of his squad members.
Bardock: So you’re Mercury? We were wondering when you would show up.
Mercury (containing his anger): You want me? You got Me.
Mercury then bends his knees and brings his arms to a 90-degree angle. The ground shakes more violently than Shugesh. Pieces of smash boulders float in the air and the wind begins to blow. Mercury lets out a roar as he powers up. The Saiyans stood by with a surprised look on the faces. Tora presses his scouter to scan him. Suddenly Mercury, stops powering up. Rocks and dust fall back to the ground.
Fasha: What does your scouter say about his power level?
Tora: It’s over 11,000!
Shugesh: What 11,000!? There is no way an earthling can get that strong in a year!
Mercury (Smirks): I did, after all I was train in the Art of Kaioken.
Bardock: Kaio-what?
Shugesh (charging at Mercury): Kaio-whatever! No Humans are a match for a Saiyan! I don’t care what you learn!
As Shugesh gets closer to Mercury, he leaps at him and throws a punch. Mercury stood still with a smirk as he got closer and then vanishes. BOOM! Mercury appears behind the fat saiyan and strikes him with his right elbow to the back of his head, sending him crashed face first to the ground. Mercury lands with his back face the saiyan who get ups rubbing the back of his head.
Shugesh: You Jerk! That hurt!
Mercury (without turning around): The word “Duh!” comes in mind.
Shugesh: Oh, you think you're cute! (Mercury turns his head to the side at Shugesh.)
Mercury: Please, I’m adorable.
Tora: Well, how adorable will you be when four more of us join in? You may be strong enough to face one of us, but not all of us.
Mercury: I beg to differ, because you came to the wrong planet. (Enters his fighting stance)
Tora, Borgos, Fasha, Gine and Shugesh surround the Human and enter their fighting stance. Bardock as usually stood by, but this time he watches Mercury carefully. Borgos was the first to attack head on, but Mercury dodges at ease, then Shugesh joins in. Soon Fasha, Gine and Tora join and throw everything they had at the human. Mercury dodge, block, parry and countered all of their attacks with ease. Bardock watch on and thought to him, “They not even touching him, and yet this human is still holding back,” Mercury continues to evade their onslaught until he screams at the top of his voice, “KAIOKEN!” A crimson aura erupts and envelops Mercury, all the saiyans scouters explode from their face from overload. They are shocked at the sudden rise in power. Mercury then strikes fast. He punches Borgos, and Tora. Karate Chops Fasha and Gine and Knees Shugesh his stomach. Mercury steps back as the 5 Saiyan collapse to the ground unconscious. Bardock was shocked that all is teammates fell in one attack by this Human. He did not see his attack. Soon before he realized it, he felt immense pressure on his left cheek. Mercury struck him and sent him flying through the sky through a mountain region of the wasteland. He impacts the ground make a large crater. He gets up, but before he has time to react, Mercury closes the distance and threw a series of punches at the Saiyan. He finishes with sidekick the push him away. Mercury slowly lowers his leg and stands with confidents. Bardock gritted his teeth as he looks at the human. He was bruised and bleeding all over his body, chunks of his armor was missing, and his spandex was torn. His tail was no longer around his waist by hanging out.
Mercury: Bardock it it? Submit and give up. Let’s end this fight and end the violence. You and your people will be cared for.
Bardock (laughs): You think I’m finish? You have no idea of what Saiyans are capable of!
Mercury was confused. Bardock then raise his left hand and small bright Ki ball appears, he then throws it in to the sky. Mercury follows the ball as it then stops in the sky, then he hears Bardock yells out, “Burst, Open and Mix!” The ball then flashes and is now bigger and brighter. Mercury turns to Bardock and shocked at what he sees. Bardock eyes are solid white, his chest begins to beat out, he grew fangs and grew bigger and bigger. Mercury watched in horror as this man transformed to a Great Ape!
Meanwhile at EDF Headquarters, computers in the control room began to short circuit and spark out. Director Raily was able to get a reading of the cause and discover that a power level of 160,000 was detected. Moments later, a partially healed Jac and Nicholson enter the room.
Jac: It's that saiyan called Bardock, Mercury will need back up!
Director Raily: I want you both to accompany Bravo Team. Do what you can to bring whatever Mercury is facing down.
Jac and Nicholson: Understood!
They run out the room as Raily gives the orders to Bravo Team. Jac and Nicholson exit the building to the airfield and see large group of 30 people waiting for them. Three of them approached the two. They are Lieutenant Kendra, Sergeant Harris and Sergeant Dre'lon.
Kendra: Bravo Team is ready to go.
Jac: We have no time to lose. Let’s move!
Later, Mercury, who is amped up on Kaioken proceeds to barely dodge the great Apes attacks. It was fast for it sizes. Mercury continues to evade and move around the mountainous region of the waste with Bardock pursuing closely. Mercury then drops down to the ground turns and rockets between his legs, grabbing a part of his boot and pulls it with him, causing the great ape to crash to the ground. Mercury then whips around and fires a volley of Ki blast at it. When the smoke cleared, Mercury sees the massive hand of the Ape swipe at him. He blasts toward the sky but was not fast enough. He is hit and is sent flying through multiple mesas until he finally impacts one and falls to the ground. Bardock then leaps into the air and lands in front of him shaking the ground violently. Mercury quickly tries to escape but is grabbed by Bardock’s massive hand. Mercury has one of his arms free as he pounds the hand to get free. Bardock then squeezes him. Mercury screamed in agony and was unable to breathe. In a desperate act, points his index finger and fires a ki beam that impacts Bardock’s right eye. Bardock roars in pain and release Mercury to grab his eye. Mercury falls and impacts the ground exhausted from the Kaioken usage and severely injured from being crushed. Bardock then looks down at Mercury and stomps down on his legs, shattering them. Mercury howls in excruciating pain to the point of passing out. Bardock then proceed lift his boot again to squash Mercury, when suddenly Kendra appears right in Bardock’s face and yells out, “SOLAR FLARE!” Bardock roars in pain and his blinded. He covers his eyes and stomps backwards. Harris and Dre’lon grab and carry the unconscious Mercury to a safe area as Jac, Nicholson, Kendra and Bravo team engage in combat with the great Ape. Jac notices the light in the sky and figures that it is the source of the Great ape's power, he fires a Ki wave at it and destroys it, but nothing happens to the Ape. Bardock regains his sight and begins to fight back. Mercury awakens after receiving his shot of the Senzu. He is partially healed.
Dre’lon: Harris, he’s awake!
Harris: Hey Merc, long time no see. You took quite a beating.
Mercury: Harris? Bravo Team is here then. We have to hurry and destroy that light in the sky.
Dre’lon: Already done, but that beast is still there! What do we do now?
Mercury (thinking for a bit until he comes to a realization): The Tail! If we can manage to cut off its tail…
Harris: It will revert back to normal.
Dre’lon: We need to hurry then. Our guys are getting wiped out.
Mercury: Alright, I want you two to get his attention on you. Have the rest of Bravo Team follow suit. I will go for the tail at full power.
Harris and Dre’lon: Got it!
The two men blast off and notified everyone else of the plan. They agreed and worked to distract Bardock. Mercury stealthily moves into position. Time was of the essence as bravo team lost 80% of it forces. Mercury then has a clear shot to Bardock’s tail.
Mercury: Kaioken times three!
A larger crimson aura erupts and envelops him. He then concentrates the power into his right arm. It felt like his arm was going to explode, but he did not fell the strain like before. Mercury then rockets at the saiyans tail as fast as he could. He cocks back his arm and SLICE! It was a clean cut. Bardock began to revert back to his normal form. He falls to the ground panting. Then Bravo member moves in place an armband on his arm that lights up blue. He looks around and is surrounded by Mercury, Jac, Kendra, Nicholson, Harris and Dre’lon. A Bravo team member comes up and picks him up by the arm. Bardock is shocked that he can’t do anything. That arm band took his powers. The group then fly off back to the original point of the battle. There the EDF had arrived in the area. There were 3 dropships and 2 aerial transports taking the Saiyan pods to Capsule Corp for study. They collected the bodies of the fallen Star Team and had all of Bardock’s squad with the same armband and cuffs, sitting down on the ground surround with armed guards. The Bravo member with Bardock place him with the rest of them. Mercury walks over the communication officer and contacts Headquarters.
Raily: This is headquarters.
Mercury: This is Captain Mercury, Mission is successful. The Saiyans have been subdue and are ready to be transported for detainment.
Raily (sighs in relief): Great work Captain. I don’t know how you did it.
Mercury: It was the sacrifices of Gabriel, Hannah, Jaxson, Diane and the 19 members of Bravo Team.
Raily: We will never forget them. Return to base to be debriefed, no need to rush.
Mercury: Yes Sir. (Gives communication back to officer as Jac, Kendra, Nicholson, Harris and Dre’lon join him)
Kendra: So what now?
Mercury: Return to base to be debriefed by the Director. Also, Jac and Nicholson will brief you there on your new assignment as Star Team members.
Harris (Surprised): Wait what? Star Team Members?
Dre’lon: You got to be kidding?
Nicholson: The Star Team does not kid when choosing their new members. You three have proven yourselves worthy.
Jac: What Nicholson is saying is, welcome to the team.
Mercury: Alright, I will meet y’all back at base. I’m going to ride in the dropships with our new “friends.”
As the Star team flies off to Headquarters, Mercury boards the dropship with Bardock and his comrades who are strapped into their seats against the wall. They are surprised to see that they are joined by Mercury, who sits on the opposite side of them. They watch him has he slouches back in his seat rubbing the back of his neck. He was obviously tired. He asks the pilot how long it would take to reach HQ. It would take 2 hours. The dropship lifts off into the sky and flies to HQ. Mercury walks over to a onboard vending machine and orders a candy bar. He sits back down and devours the candy. He glances up at the Saiyans.
Mercury: Are y’all hungry? I can order more food from the machine. It can make pizza and burgers. (They remained silent)
Mercury gets up and walks over to the machine, he proceeds to order 6 boxes of cheese pizza for each of them. He then carries them and place them on his seat. He walks to a button on the wall next them and pushes it releasing their straps. They looked confused.
Gine: What are you doing?
Mercury: Saiyans got to eat right? You’ll love this. (Hands them their boxes.) We don’t have to be enemies. We can be friends. We only fight to defend ourselves and others.
Mercury sits back down and watch in amusement on seeing the Saiyan eating pizza for the first time. They completely wolf it down. Mercury collects the boxes and trashes them. He allows them to walk around freely.
Mercury: Why do you want our planet? Do you need resources, refugee?
Tora: This planet's value is high in the Planet Trade Organization's Market.
Mercury: OK, but don’t you think that wrong? Just taking peoples home and exterminated them. How will you feel if that happen to you? (Mercury notice that they seemed uneasy when he brought that up.) Has that happen to you?
Bardock: No, but it does not matter. This planet will be ours. In three years, a massive invasion force will arrive here, and the saiyan leading that force is 10 times stronger than all of us combined.
Mercury (shocked): Invasion Force!? 10 times stronger!? (Sees a soldier exiting the cockpit.) You! What is your level?
EDF Soldier: 2,000 sir!
Mercury (points at the Saiyans): Watch them!
Mercury runs to the dropships exit way and hit the button opening it. The wind rushes in as Mercury jumps out and rockets to EDF Headquarters. When he arrives, he dashes to Director Raily while he is debriefing the Star Team. He notifies him of the Invasion that will arrive in three years. Raily immediately contacts the World Council and inform them of the situation. They agree to have the entire globe ready for the coming invasion. With new alien technology acquired from the Saiyans. Capsule Corp was able to synthesize new material and develop new equipment. They provide the EDF with new armor based off of the Saiyan armor. Plans for a prototype Exo-suit was in development as well. The Gravity chamber has been upgraded and can now go up to 50x gravity. Mercury trained the Star Team to use the Kaioken and the Spirit Bomb. He also invented the Kaioken Endurance Training. With this the Star Team was able to increase the levels more effectively and at longer periods. The EDF sent out more satellites and expanded the early warning network reaching as far as the Gliese star system. The also set up spatial mines throughout the Solar System. five experimental superweapons called the Linear Equator Cannon was made. The World Council had set underground shelters for civilians to take refuge in. As time passed, Earth was prepared to take on the Saiyans.
Meanwhile in an unknown region of space, a massive egg-shaped Spaceship blast through space. It is followed by up 100,000 saiyan attack pods. On board, Lee’sa is viewing the monitor screen show the fight between Bardock’s planet elite squad and the Star Team. She is more interest in Mercury, who single handedly defeats all of them. Pinnu walks up next to her.
Lee'sa: Are there any records of a Saiyan child sent to Earth?
Pinnu: No, originally Kakarot was schedule, but it was cancelled.
Lee'sa: So he is not a Saiyan. (Smirks) I can’t wait to meet you… Mercury.

The Invasion (1/2)[]
<AGE 747>
In the control room at EDF headquarters, a male officer was sitting at his console. He glances around to see if anyone was looking. He then pulls up videogame on the monitor and plays. Suddenly his console begins to beep. He exits the game and looks at the monitor. He then jumps up and runs to Director Raily’s officer and enters. Raily looks up at him from his computer.
Male Officer: Director, Gliese-SAT Victor has detected a large fleet of UFO matching the Saiyan attack Pods. They are surrounding one large ship!
Raily: They’re here. (Gets up and exit the office to the control) All personnel, this is an Invasion Alert, have all stations on standby. Contact the Council and notify them that the Saiyans have arrive. Ready the spatial mines, the Grind Buster missiles and the Linear Equator Cannons.
Female Officer: Major Mercury reports that the Star Team is ready.
Every EDF personnel and Soldiers scramble to their positions and station. Grind Buster missile silos open and the LEC slowly turns to the direction of where the fleet in coming and begins to charge. In large cities people began to evacuate to the underground shelters or their own personally shelters.
Meanwhile onboard the Saiyan starship, Lee’sa was viewing the monitor showing Earth. She thought to herself about what Inya said early about taking another planet from innocent lives. So far, Earthlings are by far the only ones to resist, and they are weaker than all the species she encountered. Pinnu walks up to her.
Pinnu: We will arrive to their planet in 30 minutes.
Lee'sa nods at him when suddenly the ship shakes violently with a sound of a boom. Multiple saiyan pods around the ship began exploding. The fleet had entered Pluto space zone when they entered the Mine field. Lee’sa orders the fleet power through the field and to increase speed. They lose about 5% of their fleet once the exited the minefield. 10 minutes later, they arrive at the asteroid field and entered another mine field and lost additional 5% of the fleet. Soon they arrived at Mars in detected 7 missiles heading towards them. Lee’sa has the ships weapons fire at the missiles and was able to destroy five, but the remaining two reached their target and detonates, destroying another 20% of the fleet. Finally, Earth was in their sights, and they soon would discover that Earth had one more attack. The Linear Equator Cannon fires at the fleet. Lee’sa has the ship performed evasive maneuvers and barely missed the projectile, but the other pods were not so lucky. It destroyed additional 35% of the fleet. A total of 65% of the Saiyan invasion force destroyed. The ship prepares to land in the Southeast hemisphere of Earth around a Beach. Multiple surviving Saiyan pods land in nearby cities, towns, and villages. EDF outpost station there engaged the invading Saiyans in multiple battles across the southeast Hemisphere. Lee’sa order more squads to take the northeast hemisphere as well as the southwest Hemisphere. They were met with Heavy resistance from the EDF. Director Raily had to order a retreat for the force in the Southeast Hemisphere to retreat and reinforce the Northeast and Southwest. World military forces assisted with evacuation in the affected city, but the Southeast was under Saiyan control. Soon the Northeast would fall under saiyan control as well. The Invasion was halted at in the Southwest, thanks to the Star Team and Lee’sa has her forces retreat. However, Lee’sa planned a major attack on the Giga City which was the capital of the World Council located in the Middle West. She planned to attack at night when the moon is full by using Great apes to attack. The EDF figured that they would attack by next Full moon which was in 5 days.
In the conference room at EDF Headquarters, senior officers, council members and the Star Team discussed plans for this defensive operation.
Councilman: How can we be sure that the Saiyans would even attack us during the full moon?
Dr.Nain: Based on the report given by Major Mercury, our moon gives off an unknown radiation. Similar to the artificial moon Bardock made.
Councilwoman: If they can make artificial moon, how come they didn’t do when the attacked.
Mercury: From what Bardock told me, he is the only one who has invented it. On the Plus side, the Saiyans came when the full moon is mostly seen in the western hemisphere.
Councilwoman: I trust the words of the Major. (Mercury nods)
Raily: We have formulated a plan for the defense and evacuation of New Fork. With our Military station there, they can begin Evacuation. Bravo, Foxtrot, X-Ray and Delta Teams will engage and distract the Saiyans. The Star Team will go for their tails.
Dr. Nain: Director, I like to add that we are developing a bioweapon that cancel out the radiation the moon gives off. If the Task force can hold out, we can use it to disperse in the atmosphere. This can also keep the Saiyans from transforming into the great Ape. Those already transformed will revert back to normal.
Raily: Major, Will you be able to hold out long enough for that?
Mercury: I believe we can.
Raily: Alright that is our plan, General Red will coordinate the evacuation.
General Red (under his breathe): Great…
Raily (Glares at Red): Alright, dismissed.
Five days have passed, and Giga City was nearly evacuated. The EDF stood on top of the skyscrapers looking out for any signs of the Saiyans. They are nervous for they do not know how many would come. The Full moon was shining, and everything eerily quiet.
Mercury: This is the Star Team; all squads check in. (The squads report back, there is still no sighting.)
Kendra: Could we be off about this?
Harris: Maybe.
Suddenly they hear a strange noise within the city. Jac runs to the edge and looks down. 10 Great apes are deep within the city! The Apes began to blast way building and destroy them. The Squads moved in to distract the Apes. The Star Team split up and move in to cut their tails. The Battle was brutal. Delta and X-Ray teams are wiped out. Foxtrot was suffering heavy casualty, but Bravo Team fought on strong. The Star Team was able to cut of 5 of the Apes tail reverting them back to normal. 20% of New Fork was destroyed, fortunately the civilians were all evacuated. General Red orders his troops to assist the EDF. The EDF manages to take down 3 more, but 20 more apes arrived to the city. The Ground force are getting slaughter and Foxtrot is nearly wiped out. Mercury orders them to retreat, but they refused and fought on along with the dwindling numbers of Bravo team. The EDF HQ sent Tango and Sierra teams to assist, but the battle was becoming desperate. More and more Apes arrived. 66% of Giga City was destroyed.
Jac: They just keep coming!
Nicholson: If this keeps up, we will lose! We need to retreat!
Mercury was about to call for a full retreat when suddenly, he receives communication from Dr. Nain.
Dr. Nain: Sorry for the wait Major, our weapon is complete. I am currently at Piccolo’s Lookout and dispersing the chemical, Standby.
Soon a green mist falls around the whole planet. The Great Ape gets a whiff of the mist and begin to revert to their normal form. Around the world, any Saiyan that was a great Ape reverted back to normal. It worked. The EDF and Military seized the Saiyans in the city and dampened their Ki energy. The Defense of Giga City is a Success! Lee'sa is impressed by the Earthlings resolve and dedication in that battle. However, she figures that they will soon launch a counterattack, and this Mercury will lead it. Everyone celebrated and morale was at an all-time high due to this great victory. However, it was a costly one. Nearly 120,000 lost their lives during that battle.
The Star Team is debriefed by Director Raily and the World Council.
Raily: Excellent work Star Team, once again you all have proven extremely reliable in this difficult battle.
Councilman: Yes, but there is no time to rest. It’s time we go on the offensive. That is why I want the EDF to attack their mothership. We will call this Operation: Takeback.
Raily: That’s deep in their territory! We don’t know what we will face.
Councilwoman: Did not the Major reported that when Bardock reverted, he was in a weaken state?
Mercury: I did, but for those were transformed. We can’t assume that they all are weaken.
Councilman: The Council will launch this mission, and that is final!
Raily: Ok. What’s the plan then? (General Red enters the room.)
General Red: The plan is to use our new weapon. A miniaturized LEC. Our naval fleet is on standby. We will show them the might of our military
Raily: That’s it? You are going in with no Intel on the enemy's defenses! I refuse to send my people into an operation that will fail.
Red: Well then, it pains me to do this, but you are temporary relieved as Director of the Earth Defense Fighters until this operation is over. We also don’t need the help of the so-cool Star Team for this Operation. (Raily was about to punch Red in the face, but Mercury stopped him. He then gets in Red’s face which intimidates him)
Mercury: Remember this; You are responsible for the lives that you are sending on this mission. Their blood is on your hands! Remember that General!
Mercury and Raily leave the room without being dismissed. General Red was then made temporary Director of the EDF by the Council. He then gathers all of the EDF forces for the Attack. Mercury and Raily soon enter the mess hall and are join by the Star Team. A radio was set up to listen to the progress of the mission.
Harris: So we are just going to let them do this?
Raily: They nothing we really can do. The EDF belongs to the Council.
Dre’lon: Maybe this operation will be a success.
Kendra: That's impossible, they are underestimating the Saiyans' power. There is still their leader they have to deal with.
Nicholson: The Battle is about to begin.
They listen to the radio that reports that the EDF Naval fleet is in position and have begun firing the Mini LEC. The attack was able to permanently disable the shields of the ship. The naval fleet begins to bombard the ship with convention weapons. EDF ground troops begin to move onto the beach towards ship. It seems that the operation was going smoothly. Then suddenly they hear that the Saiyans have set up a trap. All the Saiyan forces were hiding behind the ship. They all flew out and outnumber and overpowered the ground forces. They also attack the naval fleet and easily destroyed 10 out of 15. Ground force were getting slaughter left and right. Then they hear the General Red is killed in action when his flag ship was destroyed. The EDF retreated, but the Saiyans did not pursue, they just let them run. However, a handful of soldiers are captured by the Saiyans. Operation: Takeback was a disaster.
Meanwhile in the conference room.
Raily: Half of our forces are KIA, 30% are MIA and only 20% made back at HQ. We warned you that this plan was going to fail! Now morale is low, and some feel we should just give up.
Councilwoman: That is what might happen. We can no longer keep up the fight. We have fought the Saiyans for our planet for almost 2 months. Our force is dwindling. Surrender is what we have left. In 5 days, we will come to a decision. I’m sorry. (Transmission Ends)
Raily: Well, that’s it.
Mercury: What do you mean, that's it!? We can’t just give up! We still have the Double-A's.
Raily: With who to fill them? We only have 20% of our force left. Face reality Mercury, we lost.
Mercury could not accept this defeat. This angers him. He then storms out the room and goes to the gravity room to let off some steam.
The Invasion (2/2)[]
<3 DAYS LATER>
Lee'sa stared out the window looking towards the battle-scarred beach. She could not stop thinking about what Inya said to her. It was conflicting her. She thought to her, “They risk attacking us, we did the same thing against the Tuffles. Mercury was not in that attack force. It was too reckless for him.” Moments later a female Saiyan enters the room.
Female Saiyan: General, we have located the main base of the Humans Defense forces. Should we attack?
Lee'sa: No, I have a better Idea. I am going there alone. (Pinnu enters and hears what she says.)
Pinnu: What are you planning?
Lee'sa: It would seem that the Earthlings will continue to fight us to the end. So, I will offer a wager. I still want to fight this Mercury.
Pinnu: That is a good Idea, if this keeps up the value of this planet will be reduced from "S" to "A".
Lee'sa: Exactly.
Lee'sa then leaves the ship and blast off at incredible speeds to the EDF headquarters. Meanwhile, the alarms begin to blaze all over the base. Inside the control room, an officer reports to Raily.
Male Officer: Director, we have a perimeter breach, one female saiyan with a power level… over 300,000!
Riley: Get the Star Team immediately! Have them meet me outside!
Riley rushed outside to the field and found EDF soldier surrounding a green spikey haired female saiyan who was standing with a smirk on her face. The Star Team arrives with Mercury landing in front of her.
Lee'sa: So, you must be Mercury.
Mercury: I am, and you are?
Lee'sa: I’m Lee'sa; General of the Saiyan Army.
Mercury: Well, now that we been introduced… What do you want?
Lee'sa: A proposition. One that will decide the fate of this Planet of yours.
Mercury (glances at Riley with a confused face and then back at the saiyaness.): What are you proposing?
Lee'sa: A challenge. I challenge the Star Teams strongest, that would be you and him (points at Jac). If you defeat me by death or by surrender, all saiyans will leave your planet and you can reclaim it. But, if you die, or surrender, Earth will be ours for the taking. Are you in?
Riley: We have to have this approved with our…
Mercury: (interrupts) You have a deal.
Riley: Major, that is not up to you!
Lee’sa: You heard him; the challenge has been accepted. I expect you to be there in 7 of your earth days. If you don’t come, I will destroy this planet myself. Also, you will have to fight through my forces first, to get to me. A simple test to see if you are worthy. (She then blasts in the air with tremendous force the stumble the EDF fighters surrounding her)
Riley (grabs Mercury): What have you done!? Did it ever occur to you that we do not have the resources to launch another offensive!? It will be another disaster like the first one!
Mercury: You and I both know that the council will reject this opportunity. The EDF alone will not stand a chance, but everyone able to fight on this planet does This will be a Hail Mary for us. However, I have a plan that will work.
Riley: You’re right, but the council will have a field day with this.
Mercury: What other choice does the council have, either die slowly and painfully, or die quick and painfully?
Riley: Then I will contact the council, in the meantime, I want the base ready for the offensive.
Raily contacts the World Council and notifies them of the situation and Mercury’s new plan. Despite the negative feedback and demands of court martial, they agree with this plan and gathered all the military force. With the new Advance Armament Suits being massed produce by the hour by Capsule Corp, all non-Ki users now have a chance to fight back against the Saiyans. They will use the same plan they used during the Defense of New Fork. The plan was to use the AAS unit and EDF to be a distraction for the Saiyan ground force there. The AAS units would take on the Low class Saiyans, while the EDF team against the Elites. The Star Team would travel at high in the atmosphere in the experimental stealth aerial transport. Thanks to early scans of Lee’sa, they can pinpoint exactly where she is in the ship. They will drop right above the ship and penetrate it and get to Lee’sa. The Naval fleet is also refitted with new hull armor and anti-air weapons with an experimental supercomputer that can calculate the speed and power of the saiyans. Mercury calls this mission Operation: Hellstorm. Earth was going to throw everything that had the Saiyans for this final battle.
<ONE WEEK LATER, EARLY IN THE MORNING>
Hundreds of dropships carrying thousands of AAS units soar air towards the Saiyan mothership. Thousands of EDF soldiers flew among them. Below them on the ocean waters was fleets of aircraft carries, battleships, cruisers, destroyers, and medical ships. More and more small ships carrying more units and equipment began swarm the Beach. Onboard the Saiyan Ship, Lee’sa watched the entire Earth force moving and beginning their attack. This time was different, they are more coordinated and better prepare. This was certainly Mercury’s handiwork. On the Battlezone, AAS battalions clashes with the low class saiyans while the EDF Teams clashed with the Elites. Multiple dropships are getting shot down by Saiyan artillery, and many saiyans are getting shelled by Battleships on the sea. A group of saiyans flew over to the naval fleet to attack them. They were able to destroy 5 out of 30 and damage 13, But with the new upgrades, they were able to repel the attacks. Plus, a group of AAS units and EDF team were dispatched to assist. The battle was a stalemate at the moment. As the battle raged on, high above in the sky was a lone stealth dropship carrying the Star Team for their assignment. The dropship doors open the Star Team jumps out and free falls directly above their target. As they get closer and closer, they began to see the battle in detail. They see an open where the Saiyans would exit and enter the battle. Once they got close enough, Mercury gives the command. They all ignite their Kaioken and rocket right into the ship. Kendra and Dre'lon took point and fought through waves of Saiyans in their way. Harris and Nicholson covered the rear and fought of Saiyans that would flank. They kept Mercury and Jac in the middle to save their power. Deck by deck the Star Team blew through all the Saiyans that opposed them. They finally reach door where Lee’sa was located. Mercury and Jac enter while the remaining Star Team outside. Mercury and Jac enters into a massive room that was as big as a football stadium. Right in the middle of the Room. Lee’sa was standing there with her arms crossed with a smirk on her face. The two humans hopped closer to her.
Lee'sa: Impressive, not only are you able to distract my forces, but you manage to fight through all my elites to get to me with such ease.
Mercury: I didn't do this alone. I have a great team who helped us to reach you. I also have many soldiers who are sacrificing themselves for their planet. We may be weak, but we won’t stop fighting for our planet.
Lee'sa: I'm looking forward to this. I will not hold back.
Jac: neither will we.
Lee'sa then bends her knee and arms in a 90-degree angle. Her whole body is then enveloped in a light blue aura as she powers up. The whole ship began to shake violently. The metal ground around her began to rip apart. Her power was so great that Mercury and Jac had to hold their ground to keep from being blown away. Mercury and Jac then ignite their Kaioken maximum. After Lee’sa was finish, she motions them to come. At the same time, the two humans charge at great speeds and through everything they had at the Saiyaness. Lee’sa dodge, blocked, and counter their attacks. The humans were able to keep up with Saiyaness at inhuman speeds. However, it was not enough. Lee’sa counters Jac's kick attacks by striking him in his chest with her left elbow. Jac grunts in pain, he soon met with a side kick in his stomach that sent him flying and slamming into the wall. She then goes on the offensive with Mercury. They are nearly match when they clashed, but with Mercury’s quick thinking and tactics, he was a counter her attacks and get the best of her. Soon Lee’sa was able to catch on and began to best Mercury. Jac rejoins the fight and was able to strike her in her left leg causing Lee’sa to grunt in pain. She whips out her tail and strike Jac with it, but the human was able to block it and grab it and squeeze her tail. But it had no effect on her. Lee’sa swipes his legs and drop kicks him. Mercury attempts to attack then, but he fires a Ki wave at him that he blocked. He hopped back to where Jac was. Jac crest his chest in pain and Mercury was out of breath. The kaioken was putting strain on their bodies.
Jac: Dude! The tail hold was ineffective. She's a monster! Mercury, we need to use the Spirit Bomb on her. I will charge it, (Jac then raise both are into the air with his palms out and began to gather energy) but I need five minutes.
Mercury: Okay, I’ll do my best. (Mercury then face Lee’sa who had a confused look to what Jac was doing, then her attention turned to Mercury.) KAIOKEN 6X
Mercury the reignites his Kaioken and charges at Lee’sa. She smirks and lowers into her fighting stance as Mercury grew closer. Then the clash with their forearms. Mercury throws punches and kicks as Lee’sa dodge and block all of them. It did not last long due to the kaioken strain. Lee’sa saw and opening and went on the offensive. She threw punches at Mercury, who was unable to block all of them. He body jerked like a ragdoll from Lee’sa assault. She then roundhouse kicks him in his right cheek and caused him to tailspin into the wall. She turns her attention to Jac, who’s right arm was glowing as he was finished gathering the energy. He cocked back his arm to throw it, but Lee’sa was too fast for him, she fires a ki wave at him and it impacts the ground in front of him exploding and knocking him away. The glow in his arm disappears. He lands on the ground injured and unable to continue. Mercury charges at her while using his Kaioken, but at ease she grabs Mercury and hurls him to where Jac was. Mercury halted himself and stopped in front of Jac. Mercury too was unable to continued, suddenly, he felt a hand grab his left ankle. Jac transferred the gathered power to him and passes out. Lee’sa, who was hurt also slowly approached them. Mercury charges at her one last time to strike her, but Lee’sa grabbing him again and hurling him to a wall. Mercury slams into the wall and falls lands on his left arm. Lee’sa walks over to Mercury and stretches her hand over as a yellow ki ball is forming in her hand.
Lee'sa: You truly are a great fighter for an Earthling Mercury. I will remember you as an honorable fighter.
Mercury: Heh, I’m not going anywhere, KAIOKEN SPIRIT BOMB!
The small spirit bomb pops out of his right hand and turns red with the Kaioken energy, He then thrust it towards her chest and the Ki explodes in a brilliant flash of light. Lee’sa shrieks in burning pain and she is carried in the beam that shot through the ceiling of the ship and outside. Both Humans and Saiyans fighting outside stop and sees the beam of light coming through the top of the ship. The beam then diminishes. Mercury uncovers his face and is staring at an open hole in the ship. He then sees a small dot that turn in female body as it got closer and impacts the ground one and a half feet right next to him. It was Lee’sa. She was badly burn and damage, her armor was completely blown off except her bra that was still on. Mercury stares at her and she opens her right eye and stares into Mercury’s. They both smiled at each other. Then Lee’sa finally says,
Lee'sa: Well, played… You win…
She then was barely able stretch her hand to the hole in the ceiling leading to the sky and fires a beam twice. They Saiyans see this realized it was a full retreat and that General Lee’sa was defeated. Onboard they rest of the Star team enter the chamber and saw both Mercury and Lee’sa wounded on the ground, and Jac unconscious. They looked at Mercury who gave them a small nod and smile. Kendra smiled back and pulls out a flare gun and fires out the hole. The signal was green, meaning victory. Kendra, Dre, and Harris grab Mercury and Jac and fly out the hole as the other saiyans lead by Pinnu rush in to attend their general. The Star Team lands on the Destroyer Paladin where Jac and Mercury received medical attention. The fighting on the beach ceases. Within the hour The EDF released the Saiyans back their people including Bardock and his team and the Saiyans released the capture Humans. After the exchanged, the Saiyan ship began to lift off with other saiyan pods following it. Then reports around the world came confirming in that all the surviving saiyans were leaving in their pods and are following the capital ship into space. The whole entire planet roar in victory. They have reclaimed their planet! Somehow news about the defeat of the Saiyans by Earthlings spread like wildfire across the galaxy. Alien Species that were enslaved and oppressed by the Saiyans were given hope and uprisings began to occur. On Sadala, Hanasia heard the report, and she grew hot with anger recalled Lee’sa and her Invasion force back to Sadala.
4 Months have passed, and Earth was quickly recovering from the Invasion. Many Saiyan pods that were left are gather and use to further expand earth's technology. It was also discovered the Saiyans have enslaved multiple species as well. After the success of Operation: Winback-2, which also united the entire planet. The World Council reformed into the United Earth Alliance. The first president of the alliance, Maximus Furry put together the Liberation Campaign. With new technology, the new Alliance Spacefleet was formed. Thousands of starships were built at incredible speeds. Multiple fleets are dispatched to the enslaved planets to liberate them. The EDF sent in their teams including the Star Team to assist with the mission. The liberated species were so grateful that allied themselves to the UEA and help expand the campaign. The Campaign was extremely successful; however, tension greatly rose when Queen Hanasia received word that this UEA and captured their territory. The Alliance fleet with the Star Force were able to liberate the Planet Yardrat. In return the Yardrats teaches Mercury the Instant Transmission. Mercury realized how dangerous this technique is and never taught anyone. So, the UEA would liberate the planet Shamosha, but they are met by a Saiyan fleet. A large space battle erupts, but the UEA emerges victorious. However, the Battle of Shamosha ignites the Human-Saiyan War.
