Hoshi (星) is an Earthling martial artist and a major character in Dragon Ball Keisho 継承. He was inspired by the events of the 97th Tenkaichi Budokai to join a martial arts dojo and become a warrior himself, choosing the Wolf Style Dojo due to the incredible battles that Jin Judoka and Sei-Sen took part in.
Nowadays, he proudly represents the Wolf Style Dojo as one of its' primary mentors, living at the dojo with his wife Mina.
Biography[]
Backstory[]
Hoshi was born in a small village in the mountains surrounding North City on August 18th, Age 977. He grew up living a relatively normal life, becoming a fan of martial arts at an early age and managed to convince his parents to save up enough money to attend the 97th Tenkaichi Budokai, when he was aged thirteen. The tournament was one for the history books, with Hoshi being captivated at the fights that took place and immediately wished to pursue martial arts himself. He asked his parents if he had permission to enlist in one of the three major schools, but was disappointed when their answer was no.
Their town was suddenly invaded by bandits a few weeks later, with Hoshi being the one warrior to defend the town and immediately proving to his parents and the rest of his town that he had serious capability within him. This moment changed everything for him, as his parents immediately changed their minds and allowed him to enlist in a school. Hoshi chose the Wolf Style Dojo, stating Jin Judoka and Sei-Sen as inspirations and wishing to train alongside them. He then said goodbye to his family and siblings and flew to the South District to find Master Renji.

Hoshi's debut came in at the very end of the saga, being introduced as one of the Wolf Style Dojo's new recruits at the age of 13. He stated that he was inspired by the fights of the 97th Tenkaichi Budokai and wanted to train alongside Jin Judoka and Sei-Sen himself. His friendly and positive outlook on life immediately gained him a lot of friendships within the dojo, as well as his battle intelligence and ability to learn new techniques with ease.

Physical Appearance[]
Hoshi has wavy blonde hair and vibrant blue eyes. He enjoys the color blue, wearing a blue gi and headband, and often appreciates the Wolf Style Dojo for not having a strict dress code or uniform due to this. As an adult, he grows to about 5'7" (170cm), which is just under average for an Earthling.
Personality[]
From his entrance, he was immediately known for being very vibrant and seeing the good in everything, always determined to improve himself and train alongside his teammates of the Wolf Style Dojo. This changes a bit once he reaches adulthood, being a bit more aggressive towards those who attempt taking that peace away from him, and his emotions can at times make a drastic switch.

Goals[]
From the start of his journey into martial arts, his goal has always been to prove to his family and town that with enough hard work, he can become one of the greatest martial artists on Earth. Eventually, he gains a sense of pride from being in the Wolf Style Dojo and wishes to help elevate the school into being the clear number one.

Fighting Style[]
Hoshi's fighting style revolves heavily around the teachings of the Wolf Style Dojo, which uses a martial arts style known as the "Okami Jinsoku-Ryū", which focuses on the art of reading an opponent and waiting for the right opportunity to strike, favoring quick precise strikes over brute strength. He is a very patient fighter much like Master Renji and Jin Judoka, but has an extremely versatile set of skills for any given situation.

Techniques[]
- Ryū Harikēn 狼ハリケーン: A technique taught to him by Jin Judoka. Gathers energy into core through hand movements and releases it in a quick burst of ki through his arms as a dragon silhouette forms behind him. Produces hurricane-like winds.
- Wolf Rush 狼急ぐ: Generates ki in all four of his limbs and performing melee combinations at incredible speeds, getting faster as it goes on until ending it with an elbow to the stomach.
- Afterimage Strike 残像拳: Moves at speeds fast enough to create afterimages of himself surrounding the opponent, driving them crazy.
- Bear's Fist クマ拳: A ki wave that forms from the palms, with a silhouette of a bear forming behind him. The blast splits into four right before hitting the opponent and all four blasts hit from each side of the opponent.

- Hoshi's overall appearance and personality are inspired off of Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan.
- He is known for his positive attitude and outlook on life, often being the contrast to whenever Jin Judoka is going through his emotions.
