Throughout the sendoverse, multiple gods appear. These beings are amazingly strong and usually immortal. They are divided into multiple groups, and this article will explain them.
Elder gods[]
Thanatos - Elder god of destruction.
Elder gods are personifications of the very foundations of the universe. Abstracts concepts such as order, destruction, love, and war are things they would be gods of. Elder gods usually cannot die, however Thanatos is able to die due to him trading his immortality for more power, and all of the Elder Gods lose their immortality after the creation of the current universe/sendoverse because of an agreement made with Thanatos. Neo gods[]
Neo gods are gods who were created by Elder gods or ascended to god status somehow. Neo gods can be killed, but they do not die under normal circumstances.

Acolytes of destruction[]
Hoshi - Dictator and self proclaimed goddess of Hoshi city.
These acolytes are part of Thanatos. After a great destruction of the universe, Thanatos must split into eight beings. When they reunite, another great destruction occurs.

Kais[]
In comparison to mortals outside of otherworld, the kais are gods. The kais were given authority over the universe by the elder gods. There were once very many, but many of them were killed by Majin Buu. While The Oracle is listed above under the Neo Gods category, he was once a Kai who used the power of good its self, and single handedly defeated Thanatos.
