Synopsis[]
Opening (Bit by Bit I'm Falling Under Your Spell)
Episode 34 begins with the new possessed Cell spawning five Cell Jrs behind himself. Jodenku and Pan take on two of them, Uub and Trunks take on another two, and Goten takes on the fifth one, while Cell and everyone else watches. Goten tells the Past Z-Fighters to not join in and to save their energy for the main battle against Cell. Jodenku and Pan easily dominate the two Cell Jrs that they are battling, with Pan killing one of them with a lethal ki blast to the head, decapitating them.
The scene then switched to Goten fighting the last Cell Jr, easily kicking them in half without having to transform. "Really, Cell? This is the best you could come up with?" Goten asked as he landed back on the ground, watching the rest of the fights. Cell didn't seem bothered at his remark.
Trunks and Uub were also able to dispatch of their Cell Jrs easily, and the scene ended with Jodenku landing a melee combination on the final one, ending it by grabbing its leg and throwing it into the ground, causing it to implode on impact.
The scene then switched to Heliko flying through the Earth and making it to a city, seeming to be in ruins. "Hm, maybe that...thing...caused this." He said under his breath as he descended down to take a closer look. He saw that the pattern of destruction in the city's architecture led to the northwest, and Heliko proceeded to fly that way.
The final scene of the episode was Cell seeing that all of his Cell Jrs were easily disposed of. He then began laughing, following it up with a statement. "You all passed the test! I was hoping you weren't just some knock-off boy band plus one girl traveling through the cosmos trying to look tough!" He joked.
"Passed the test? What are you on about?" Uub asked.
"I literally just told you, dingus. I wanted to make sure you were strong enough to even battle me in the first place. My strength is completely amplified now, and I don't want to waste it on an easy battle. Now, which one of you fools is fighting me first?" Cell asked, looking at the group of Z-Fighters.
Elder Kai then came in through the scouters. "You guys are going to have to hold him off for a bit. Remember, do NOT kill him! Your job is only to correct the discrepancies that the demonic energy caused in Cell! After you have done enough damage, go find Heliko!"
The episode ended with Jodenku and Uub stepping up to battle Cell first, and with them two having a stare-off with Cell.
