Synopsis[]
Opening (Bit by Bit I'm Falling Under Your Spell)
Episode 22 begins with Androids 17 and 18 walking around in Hell, avoiding pools of lava. They then saw many unpossessed people from Hell running away from explosions and the androids go to investigate, encountering a possessed version of Perfect Cell staring directly at them as the clouds cleared.
"N-no way..." Android 17 had an expression of shock on his face. "I never thought I'd see his face again..." Android 18 acted in a similar manner, but they then got into their fighting stances as Cell began laughing.
"I've been absorbing the entirety of Hell during whatever this thing going on is. I couldn't care less, now is my chance to escape from HELL!" Cell then powered up, creating lightning in Hell, and heavy wind currents. Android 17 and 18 then rushed at him, engaging in several melee clashes over the course of 10 minutes. Cell then gains the upper hand and is about to absorb them, but Master Yakitori suddenly appears and manages to tackle him to the ground. Cell easily kicks Master Yakitori away but its creates enough time for the androids to attack Cell while he is off-guard.
Suddenly, Tien appears after flying back to Hell and manages to kill Cell with a Neo-Tri Beam, with the androids jumping out of the way at the last second. Tien ends his little entrance in a funny way, saying, "You really made me wake up from my nap all the way from my bed on King Kai's Planet. Impressive..", as he flied away.
The next scene of the episode is a few of the Z-Fighters (Goku, Trunks, Goten, Pan, Uub, Ox-King, Oolong, and Bulla) eating cake at a small party at the Kame House due to it being Jodenku's 14th birthday. Although he doesn't know much about what birthdays even are, he quickly eats most of the giant cake that Ox-King ordered for them. The scene ends with Oolong and Bulla then walking into the Kame House with a ginormous stack of cake, with Pan saying how happy she is that she decided to come to the party.
The final scene of the episode is a scene of Mystic Gohan impressing Piccolo in the plains area, with Piccolo commenting on how proud he is of Gohan for deciding to take after his dad.
