Dragon Ball Full Potential (Dragon Ball FP; Doragonbōru FP; DBFP) is an upcoming sequel to Dragon Ball Z. Since Dragon Ball GT isn't canon, this story follows canon. It takes place eight years after the defeat of Kid Buu (meaning that the last three episodes of DBZ, which are episodes 289-391; or last two chapters if you read the Dragon Ball Manga are not canon). It follows the adventures of Goten and Trunk after the events of the Majin Buu Saga.

- In the epilogue of the story, it will be revealed that the story is actually being told by Chiyo and Ryyko, the children of Goten to their children as a bedtime story.
- Vegeta and Goku make minor appearances throughout the story, with the most notable appearances being in the Afterlife Tournament Saga, Evil Goku Saga, Supreme Vegeta Saga, and Negative Gogeta Saga.
- This story will not add any fanon Super Saiyan transformations (except for two that are similar to FPSSJ... so no overpowering) or Super Saiyan 4.
