Sagas[]

Lieken's Origin[]

Two large Saiyan pods contained an adult Saiyan named Kavrol and his wife, Sarina, who was pregnant. They had a toddler named Cress. These Saiyans did not believe in the war-hungry ways of their species and decided to escape Planet Vegeta. In search of a remote planet, one that was barely on the Saiyans’ radar, they landed on Planet Kinako. Unbeknownst to them, the planet was alive and emitted strange properties. When Sarina gave birth to a baby boy, these properties altered his ki, enhancing his latent potential to depths they could never have guessed. They named the boy Lieken.

As Lieken grew, he quickly surpassed his older sister, Cress, and eventually his own parents. When Lieken was 13, Cress had a falling out with their parents and left Planet Kinako in a rage, after which Lieken had not seen her again. One fateful day, when Lieken was 16, a strange Namekian warrior who introduced himself as Tambour arrived on Planet Kinako, seeking its strange properties. Upon seeing Lieken’s family, he became hostile and attacked. Lieken and his parents fought back, attempting to use the full moon to stop Tambour, but he destroyed the moon. Tambour then killed Lieken’s parents in front of him, saving Lieken for last since he was the strongest.

In a fit of rage, Lieken’s power erupted, transforming him into a Super Saiyan, surrounded by a golden fiery aura with blue eyes and golden hair. With this newfound power, he managed to defeat Tambour, believing he had killed him. After burying his parents, Lieken left Planet Kinako and travelled through the galaxy, stopping at a new planet where he could acquire a new outfit that stretched with his body and accommodated his Great Ape form. Eventually, his ship malfunctioned, causing him to crash-land on a planet called Earth. There, when he emerged from his ship, his energy drew the attention of a fellow Saiyan named Pumki.

Pumki's Origin[]

Pumki was a normal, mid-class Saiyan. He was raised on Planet Vegeta like all the others, taught and made to fight. Eventually though, at the age of 7, Pumki would be kidnapped. As he’d later find out, this was his abductor's revenge for an unpaid debt by his parents. It turns out said abductor’s were a gang of Saiyans who rejected the rule of King Vegeta, and who went alone. They were powerful, no doubt, as they weren’t restrained by any class system or stronger beings, but they were also brashful and arrogant. This would brush off on Pumki, making him a fairly bad person.

As part of his initiation into the gang, Pumki’s tail would be chopped off and a cap would be placed on it to stop it from regrowing. This cap was left there until Pumki reached the typical power level for the tail to stop its regrowth. From then on, he’d spend the next few years exploring the universe with the gang. Pumki was one of the weaker Saiyans in the bunch, far outclassed by the top members. This would all end when they’d visit Earth. They were far, far from Pumki’s home of Vegeta, but he was still reminded of it by Earth—In some ways, anyway. With how weak the Earthlings were, Pumki was tasked to kill some to get what the gang needed. However, he couldn’t force himself to. Reminded of his own family, Pumki acted out of character for a Saiyan and spared the family.

This would lead to a brutal beating from the other gang members, who left Pumki for dead afterwards. They found no use in him anymore. He was weak, brashful, and couldn’t even do a simple task. Pumki would bleed out on the ground, his Saiyan armour broken and tattered. Sensing his Ki, however, the Guardian of Earth would soon appear. He’d take Pumki in and heal his wounds, granting a tremendous zenkai boost that put him far above the power he had before. Though ignorant and rude at first, Pumki would learn to view the Guardian as almost a father figure, training his techniques and Ki under him. He eventually removed the cap on his tail, seeing no need for it as it was only a reminder of his past.

For the next few years, Pumki trained in the rural areas of Earth, mastering his Ki and becoming a great fighter with his hands. One day, while training, a new energy came to Earth. It was strong, too strong not to worry about. Pumki flew over, leaving the Guardian of Earth behind as he went to check it out. From there, he’d meet Lieken, another Saiyan.

Demon Lord Zarba Saga[]

When Pumki saw Lieken emerge from his pod, he was already on guard. The sight of Lieken’s tail immediately made him hostile, thinking the Saiyan gang had come back for him. Acting on instinct, Pumki punched Lieken, who, caught off guard, flew backward into a tree. Lieken quickly retaliated with a flurry of ki blasts, and the two engaged in an intense fight. Finally, during a brief pause, Lieken demanded to know why they were fighting. This gave Pumki a moment to realise that Lieken was not from the gang he feared. With tensions eased, they introduced themselves.

Shortly after, Pumki explained what the Dragon Balls were. Lieken, intrigued, asked him how to find them. Pumki admitted he wasn’t sure, as they were scattered across Earth. However, he revealed that he already possessed the 3-star Dragon Ball and explained that when one Dragon Ball is close to another, it begins to glow. They decided to use this as a compass to locate the others and set off on their quest.

Meanwhile, a large, muscular demon with two horns, red skin, and crimson stripes across his chest was holding a device that tracked Dragon Ball locations. Standing outside a building labelled “The Mantis School,” he fought the head of the school, who put up a slight challenge. However, the demon defeated him with ease. Searching through a chest, he found the 2-star Dragon Ball, and after securing it, destroyed the entire school. “I already have two Dragon Balls. At this rate, I, Demon Lord Zarba, will become supreme ruler of the universe!” he declared. His bag revealed he also had the 6-star Dragon Ball.

Elsewhere, Lieken and Pumki were flying over a village when they noticed the 3-star Dragon Ball glowing. They began searching around the village, though the inhabitants seemed frightened, especially at the sight of Lieken’s tail. Using the 3-star Dragon Ball as a guide, they eventually reached a small hut, where the glow intensified. They knocked on the door, and an old man answered. When they asked for his Dragon Ball, he refused. Insisting, they prepared to face him in combat. The man, introducing himself as Rymo, transformed into a muscular form similar to Roshi’s Full Power, and began attacking them. After an easy battle, Pumki defeated him, and he reluctantly handed over the 5-star Dragon Ball.

Their next lead took them into a forest, where they located another Dragon Ball. But they weren’t alone. Demon Lord Zarba landed before them and introduced himself, instantly launching an attack. Though they fought bravely, Pumki and Lieken found themselves outmatched. During the fight, Pumki noticed Zarba’s device, realising it was a radar, and managed to slip it off him unnoticed. They allowed Zarba to flee with the 7-star Dragon Ball, leaving him unaware they still had the 3-star and 5-star Balls. Now, only the 1-star and 4-star Balls remained.

As they continued their search, Pumki, who could sense ki, felt the magnitude of destruction Zarba was causing as he sought the Dragon Balls, leaving thousands dead in his path. Using the stolen radar, Pumki and Lieken tracked the 4-star Dragon Ball to a secluded temple in the mountains. There, they encountered a warrior named Kirai, who was tasked with guarding the Ball. Kirai challenged them, wielding her bo staff, and Lieken stepped up to fight her. Though she was a formidable human warrior, Lieken managed to defeat her. As they left with the 4-star Ball, Kirai chased after them, but they flew away.

The Demon Lord soon discovered his radar was missing, leaving him furious. Realising he could still sense Pumki and Lieken’s energy, he set out to track them directly. When they arrived at the location of the 1-star Ball, they were surprised to find Kirai had followed them. As they argued, an energy blast struck the area—Demon Lord Zarba had arrived. He attacked fiercely, and despite their combined efforts, Pumki and Lieken were still too weak to defeat him. Zarba left them on the brink of death, taking the Dragon Balls from them.

After Zarba’s departure, Kirai provided them with senzu beans, understanding the urgency of the situation. The beans healed them, granting both Pumki and Lieken significant zenkais (power boosts). With renewed strength, they set off once more to confront the Demon Lord.

By the time they caught up to him, Zarba was ready to make his wish. As he began to summon the dragon, he was interrupted by a powerful punch to the jaw from Pumki. Zarba, now furious, prepared to finish them off with his demon tentacles.

As they fought, Pumki and Lieken were still at a disadvantage. However, as night fell, the full moon appeared, triggering Lieken’s transformation into his Great Ape form. This massive increase in power allowed Lieken to gain the upper hand against Zarba, pushing him back. But Zarba unleashed his full power, gradually overpowering Lieken and eventually severing his tail, reverting him to his base form. With a final, devastating strike, Zarba knocked Lieken unconscious, leaving Pumki to face him alone. Pumki tried using his potential unleashed form, with his aura turning purple.

Despite his best efforts, Pumki was no match for Zarba on his own and was mercilessly beaten. Meanwhile, Kirai, who had taken the Dragon Balls, summoned the dragon Ryujinmaru. She used both wishes to revive everyone Zarba had killed. Seeing the dragon appear and disappear in the distance, Zarba became enraged and brutalised Pumki, leaving him motionless on the ground.

When Lieken finally regained consciousness, he saw Pumki lying still, and a surge of rage overtook him. Believing his friend was dead, Lieken snapped, reawakening his Super Saiyan form. With this newfound strength, he channelled his energy into Pumki, restoring his consciousness. Together, they attacked Zarba, who, in desperation, prepared a massive blast to destroy Earth. In response, Lieken lets out a final, powerful attack, overwhelming Zarba and obliterating him.

After the battle, they reunited with Kirai, who revealed that she had wished for everyone Zarba had killed to be revived. With their quest complete, Lieken and Pumki decided to go their separate ways, each vowing to train harder for the challenges that lay ahead.

The End

World Tournament Saga[]

It had been a year since the fateful battle against Demon Lord Zarba, and Pumki and Lieken had each spent that time training in solitude, pushing their limits to grow stronger. Word eventually reached them of the upcoming Tenkaichi Budokai—the World Martial Arts Tournament, famous for drawing the strongest fighters from all over Earth. Intrigued, they both decided to enter, each hoping to see just how far they had come.

Upon arriving at the tournament grounds, Pumki and Lieken were surprised to find each other there. Having been separated for so long, they greeted each other warmly, immediately noticing the changes in one another’s presence and strength. Pumki quickly spotted that Lieken’s tail had regrown, and Lieken hinted that he had been working on some powerful new techniques. Before they could catch up in full, they spotted a familiar face nearby—Kirai. Despite the strained history they shared, they were genuinely happy to see her again.

As they surveyed the competition, they noticed a man standing at a distance, keeping to himself. His stern gaze and solitary demeanour set him apart from the crowd, but what really caught their attention was his missing eye. He wore a yellow and orange gi over a black undershirt, giving him an aura of experience and resilience. This mysterious figure was Kamaki.

The tournament preliminaries began, and both Pumki and Lieken breezed through their early opponents, dispatching them with minimal effort. Kamaki proved just as formidable, knocking out his opponents with precision and decisiveness. His skills and aura left a strong impression, suggesting he wasn’t someone to be underestimated.

In the first match of the official rounds, Kamaki was pitted against a fighter named Bridan, a powerful dragon-like warrior known for his strength. However, Kamaki made short work of him, delivering a decisive blow that left Bridan unconscious and cemented Kamaki’s reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Pumki and Lieken watched the match closely, noting Kamaki’s impressive technique and intensity.

Next, it was Kirai’s turn. She faced a small but surprisingly strong rabbit-like fighter named Carror. Despite his unassuming appearance, Carror put up a challenging fight. Kirai struggled at first but eventually managed to outmanoeuvre him, emerging victorious after a hard-fought battle. Her display of skill and tenacity earned nods of approval from Pumki and Lieken.

The following rounds saw Pumki and Lieken facing random opponents, whom they dispatched with ease. They hardly needed to push themselves, conserving their energy for the stronger opponents they knew would be waiting in the later rounds. As the tournament progressed, anticipation grew among the fighters and spectators alike, especially when the next matchup was announced: Kirai versus Kamaki.

Kirai and Kamaki’s fight was intense from the start. Kirai opened with a swift strike, but Kamaki countered with a precise blow to her kidney, momentarily incapacitating her. Not one to back down, Kirai regrouped and launched a surprise attack, catching Kamaki off guard. The battle wore on with both fighters giving their all, but ultimately, Kamaki’s experience and power won out, and he claimed victory. Despite her defeat, Kirai was proud of her performance, knowing she had pushed Kamaki to his limits.

The next match was one that had the crowd buzzing: Pumki versus Kamaki. As they faced off, Kamaki revealed his true power, transforming into his “Mantis Form.” His skin turned a striking green, his remaining eye turned fully black, and his agility and strength increased dramatically. Pumki quickly realised he was facing a far tougher opponent than he’d anticipated. Kamaki’s newfound speed and power put him on the defensive, and Pumki found himself struggling to keep up, even using his Potential Unleashed form.

Realising he would need to match Kamaki’s transformation with his own, Pumki took a deep breath and smirked. “You’re not the only one who can transform,” he said confidently. With a fierce cry, he powered up, his hair flashing to a brilliant golden hue, his eyes glowing a striking blue. He had gone Super Saiyan, much to the astonishment of Lieken, Kirai, and the spectators.

With his transformation complete, Pumki now had the upper hand. His newfound strength overwhelmed Kamaki, who, despite his best efforts, couldn’t keep up with the Super Saiyan’s power. Pumki eventually knocked Kamaki out of the ring, securing his victory. Gracious in his win, Pumki extended a hand to Kamaki, who accepted it, and they exchanged words of mutual respect.

Finally, it was time for the tournament’s climactic showdown: Pumki versus Lieken. The two Saiyans faced each other with wide grins, each eager to test their strength against the other. They began in their base forms, moving at high speed and exchanging powerful blows, neither gaining a clear advantage. The fight was intense and evenly matched, showcasing their skill and determination.

Mid-fight, Lieken decided to unveil a technique he’d been working on during his year of training—his energy whips. These glowing, flexible tendrils of energy extended from his hands, giving him a new edge in combat and allowing him to attack from unexpected angles. Pumki was forced to go Super Saiyan to counter the new technique, and Lieken followed suit, both transforming into Super Saiyans. “Looks like this will be a battle of the Super Saiyans!”. Their battle continued with even greater intensity, energy blasts filling the arena as they clashed with all their might.

In the end, after an exhilarating match, Lieken managed to knock Pumki out of the ring, winning the tournament. The crowd erupted in cheers, and Pumki, despite his defeat, congratulated Lieken on a hard-fought victory. The friends, along with Kamaki and Kirai, gathered afterward, sharing stories of their battles and reflecting on how far they had come.

A month before the tournament. Deep in the forest, a squirrel scurried around Lieken’s abandoned space pod. It accidentally triggered a signal that began broadcasting into the depths of space, its message reaching far beyond Earth. Unknown to the group, this small event would soon set into motion the arrival of a new threat—a powerful enemy who had just wiped out the Saiyan planet, now drawn to Earth by the knowledge that Saiyans had survived.

The End

Glacia Saga[]

In the depths of space, Glacia—renowned as the "most powerful being in the universe"—hovered ominously outside the Saiyan homeworld. For generations, his family had ruled over the Saiyans, but their ever-increasing strength had become a threat he could no longer ignore. Resolute in his decision, he gazed at the planet, its core beginning to glow at his command. Without lifting a finger, Glacia obliterated the planet in a brilliant explosion, leaving behind only scattered debris and extinguishing the Saiyans living there.

However, Glacia knew some Saiyans had survived, scattered across the galaxy. Using the signals from their space pods, he dispatched his forces to hunt them down one by one. About a month after the Saiyans' near-extinction, Glacia detected a signal from an old-generation Saiyan pod on a distant planet. Without hesitation, he sent a squad to investigate.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Lieken and Pumki were in a hotel room with Kirai and Kamaki. The World Tournament had just concluded, and Lieken had emerged victorious. Unsure what to do with the prize money, the group decided to celebrate by going out for food. During their meal, Pumki asked Kamaki about his unique transformation. Kamaki explained it was a secret technique of the Mantis School, recounting how Zarba had destroyed the school and killed his master, leaving Kamaki as the sole survivor.

As they enjoyed their time together, a sudden shockwave shook the city. Rushing to investigate, they found a group of warriors hovering menacingly above the chaos. Recognizing Lieken's tail, the group's leader, Cryon, identified him as a Saiyan and declared their mission to eradicate all Saiyans.

The Earth’s warriors confronted the invaders, splitting up to take on different opponents. Pumki faces Cryon, finding him to be a formidable foe. Lieken, meanwhile, fought a unique warrior capable of generating weapons from thin air, countering with his ki whips to secure victory. Kirai fought fiercely with her bo staff, which broke mid-battle. Enraged, she unleashed her power to defeat her opponents, only to be knocked out in the process. Kamaki saved her before she hit the ground and, pushing himself to his limits, transformed into his Mantis Form to take down the attackers.

Pumki, struggling against Cryon, tapped into his Super Saiyan transformation, turning the tide with a devastating punch. Cryon, now realising Pumki was also a Saiyan, warned that Glacia would come for them before retreating with his surviving troops.

Later, Pumki explained Glacia’s significance, describing him as the ruler of the Saiyans and the strongest warrior in the universe. The group decided to prepare for Glacia’s inevitable arrival. Using the Dragon Radar, they secured the Dragon Balls in a safe location and dedicated themselves to intense training.

Weeks later, they felt a dark, ominous energy approaching Earth. A massive spaceship loomed over a city before landing in a desolate wasteland. Earth's warriors arrived at the scene to confront Glacia’s massive fleet. The initial wave of henchmen was easily defeated, but the elite squads proved far more challenging.

Kirai, revealing a new technique, created an energy-based bo staff, while Kamaki relied on his Mantis Form to push through. Despite their efforts, Glacia entered the battlefield and effortlessly incapacitated Kamaki and Kirai.

Lieken and Pumki, holding back their Super Saiyan forms, confronted Glacia. Pumki went first using his potential unleashed form, holding his own initially but quickly realising Glacia’s overwhelming strength. Transforming into a Super Saiyan, Pumki gained the upper hand temporarily, forcing Glacia into a mountain. As Pumki celebrates prematurely, Glacia reemerges in his final form, unleashing a massive power surge.

Lieken joined the fight, transforming into a Super Saiyan and briefly holding his ground. However, Glacia easily outmatched them both."You Saiyans think your golden transformations make you invincible? Pathetic. This power is nothing compared to the cold perfection of myself.". Kamaki, recovering, rejoined the battle to give Lieken and Pumki time to charge their energy for a final attack.

As Glacia overpowered Kamaki, the two Saiyans unleashed their combined energy in a desperate beam struggle. Glacia retaliated with his own blast, pushing it closer to them. At the last moment, an energy blast struck Glacia from behind—it was Kirai, back on her feet. Seizing the opportunity, the Saiyans overpowered Glacia, sending him into the stratosphere and disintegrating him.

With the battle over, the exhausted warriors went their separate ways for well-deserved rest. Pumki returned to Earth’s Lookout, where he greeted Cazoo, Earth’s guardian. As they spoke, Cazoo warned of an even greater danger looming on the horizon.
