Dōtoku is the Angel of Death for Universe 7, and whom gave Pikkon training to obtain a Legendary form, by the using his Pendulum of Death to unlock his hidden potential.
Overview[]
Naming[]
Unlike Karma, Dōtoku is named after an ethics; Morality. Angels are regularly named after Cause and Effect terms. This is likely due to the fact that his job as the Angel of Death requires a certain Morality.
Personality[]
Dōtoku is the Angel of Death, despite this he is a generous individual willing to swap life for life if served good intentions. He can be quite ignorant of situations such as Goku being able to see him, or Karma launching an attack in his direction. Dōtoku is also known telltale, stating that he defeated Beerus in an arm wrestle when infact it was the other way around.
Appearance[]
Like all Angels; he has blue skins with white blank eyes, and has a light blue cloud-like eye shadow around both his eyes. However he doesn't have wings due to him being the Angel of Death, and instead uses a magic to fly or teleportation to avoid getting hit by an attack.

- Teleportation - The ability to teleport from Heaven to the Check-in Station or to world of living.
- Conditional Visibility - He can only be seen by Gods, Demons, Kais, and Devils.
- Life Transfusion - Dōtoku can a life for a life. In this sense when Frieza was killed for again; he agreed to exchange Pan's soul.
- Shinigami Eyes - Dōtoku can see the coming of death or the actual of person dying. This allows him to record there coming deaths, and keep track of them through a list.
- Amortality - Dōtoku is Amortal unlike Immortal where one cannot die, Amortal is when one exist in a state of unbirth rendering him unable to die due to not being alive to begin with this ability exists only in Dōtoku, and thus was the reason why he replaced Karma as the Angel of Death.
Trivia[]
- He is so far the only known being to possess Amortality.
- His Amortality couldn't be erased by Fusionist or Shenron due to him being born with it, but it's stated that the Beerus can easily take away the power away from him as Beerus is clearly more powerful than Shenron.
