Cooler (クウラ 'Kūra') is the titular main antagonist in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge and Dragon Ball Extreme : Cosmic Brotherhood . He is the older brother of Frieza and the eldest son of King Cold. Like his brother, he can push his body through transformations. Unlike his brother Frieza, Cooler revives himself by absorbing the sun's energy, thus naming his new form Solar Cooler.
Appearance[]
Not alot changed from his original design since absorbing the sun, aside from the after effects on his body before being found by a crew of Cooler's henchmen.
Being shoved into the star's core gave him the opportunity to take all its power, although for a price. His entire skin got covered in a coal black color (but his red facial stripes were left unscathed), disintegrated both Cooler's right arm, half his tail and made him blind, shown by his pure white eyes.
After using the sun's power for the first time, he ascends into his 4th form, regaining both his arm, tail and eyesight. Cooler's skin shifts into a tomato red color along with his armor turning sunny yellow, both representing the sun. His hands remain the same coal black tint, including his body "gems", that turn into a blinding white when Solar Flare or a massive Ki attack is performed.
Personality[]
Cooler's persona changed completely by overloading himself with all of the sun's energy. His demeanor towards everything is completely intuitive and irrational, which is also his biggest weakness in almost every situation possible. He is also much more soft-spoken, meaning he interrupts annoying monologues or avoids taunting his foes too much like he used to.
His savage nature is proportional to the amount of solar energy he releases. In his ascension into Full Power Solar Cooler, any sign of speech or rational thinking is non-existent, even stated to be mentally broken by Super Saiyan Blue Vegeks.
