A Mrovian Cataphract is a cybernetic warrior of the Mrovian Navy. Whenever a Mrovian warrior is severally wounded in battle, he/she is given the option to have his/her head and upper chest surgically transplanted into a Cataphract exoskeleton, reducing his/her mobility, but augmenting his/her firepower and durability.

Description[]

A Mrovian Cataphract is a quadrupedal machine of war that stands 3.45 meters (over 11 feet) tall and is 6.25 meters (201⁄2 feet) in length. Its armor possesses noticeably greater strength than that of Mrovian combat armor, although it mildly suffers from a slight reduction in mobility. Like the Mrovian combat armor, the Cataphract exoskeleton has a layer of energy shielding that is the first line of defense against impacts. The Cataphract is notoriously durable; the combination of its exoskeleton and energy shielding enables it to survive an individual full-power attack from a being with a power level of 10,000. The Mrovian pilot, a veteran who has volunteered to have his/her head and chest surgically transplanted into the machine, is suspended in a life support fluid within the central body of the exoskeleton.

A Mrovian Cataphract is armed with an Annihilator, which fires individual projectiles of antimatter suspended in a vacuum, shielded by a sphere of plasma. While the destructive potential of an Annihilator projectile is roughly equivalent to that of a Full Power Energy Ball fired from someone with a power level of 3600, if the antimatter component of the projectile makes contact, it will annihilate a piece of the target, regardless of the target’s power. This makes Mrovian Cataphracts among the deadliest soldiers in the Mrovian Navy.
