Candy is a full-blooded earthling/human who is the Daughter of Yamcha.
Backstory (Main Timeline)[]
Early Life[]
During the first week of life, Candy (an unnamed newborn at the time), was put by Launch inside a basket, Launch went to someone's doormat (which fortunately but coincidentally happens to be Yamcha's apartment, which at the time, had newly moved into said apartment.), stuck a note to the basket, and left.
Not long after the door opened, it was Puar, he was curious, so he took the basket and was unsure on how to take care of the baby, Puar took care of the baby until Yamcha finally went home.
Buu Saga[]
Buu Saga gave Candy her first signs of inheriting her mom's sneezing disorder, confirming Yamcha's speculations that the mom of his daughter, was Launch.
Daima[]
Candy, much like her peers, are turned into babies, the effect is eventually reversed.
Dragon Ball Super Prelude - Candy meets her mom[]
It happened one day when Candy is around 10, where Yamcha goes to Tien's dojo which, coincidentally, he brings Candy with him, and Launch happens to be there.
- Yamcha: Launch...., i'm sorry for lashing out at you several years before, but it's time to meet your daughter.
- Launch: daughter?, what do you mean i have a daughter?, i'm a mom?
- Candy: daddy she has hair like me
- Yamcha: That's your mom kiddo.
Personality[]
Candy is normally level-headed girl as a child.
As a teenager, Candy inherited some of Yamcha's cockiness, and grew a somewhat tomboyish personality, she's still logical as she is when she was younger, but she grew a bit of a medium-temper demeanor.
however, she still sometimes has the role of being the voice of reason to Goten and Trunks, especially of the two are doing something that can be seen as "stupid" to her.
Disorder[]
Candy inherited Launch's disorder, but the changes were nowhere as extreme/aggressive as her mother, compared to "trigger-happy/going-all-out" and usually would fire the weapon holding that Launch has, Candy just becomes arrogant, rude, and just simply grumpy, the disorder is also complete with Candy's hair turning blonde to indicate the changes.
When she has the Vex active, she initially now has her mom's aggressive state in full force, after the Cell Max incident, she's trying to take control with it
Candy and Launch are both aware of the split personality caused by sneezing, the difference however, Candy will ACTUALLY remember the actions her other personality did if she is left in that state for extended periods.
Appearance[]
Buu Saga - Tournament Of Power[]
Candy is a short-stack who sports the hairstyle of braids, blunt bangs, and sideburns, Candy wears red overall shorts, a pink sweater, and grey shoes.
Something interesting about her is that, unlike Goten and Trunks, she actually experience gradual growth as she got older, something the many other characters her generation do not undergo (including the aforementioned Goten and Trunks)
Age 783[]
Candy looks alot more like Launch when the latter was in OG Dragon Ball, inheriting her hairstyle (minus the bangs, which was inherited from Yamcha in OG Dragon Ball/Early-Z/Early-Mid Super).
one of Candy's casual attire during the Super Hero Saga consists of a white t-shirt with red sleeves and a blue checkmark on it, a denim skirt, and leather boots, she may optionally also wear the headband her mom used to wear during OG Dragon Ball.
Candy would sometimes tie hair hair in braids to minimize being confused with her mother.

Yamcha[]
Yamcha was skeptical and unsure at first when he first saw the baby in Puar's care, but as the years go by, Yamcha gradually became to be a surprisingly decent dad to Candy, and he's alot more present in her life than Goku and Vegeta are with Goten/Gohan and Trunks respectively (though Vegeta started to improve being aa dad when Bulla came around)
While his fear of women haven't completely melted away but becoming a father to the (then) motherless Candy and raising her made him a lot less nervous around females.
For years, Yamcha couldn't pinpoint who exactly the mother is, all he gives himself is speculation, he's only able to confirm it, once Candy starts experiencing symptoms of inheriting the trait her mother has: sneezing results in hair/eye color change + personality changes.
Launch[]
Candy hasn't known much of Launch, all she know about Launch is what Yamcha told her when Candy asks him about who her mom is, that would all change one day when Candy is around 10 (potentially shortly after the events of "Yo! Son Goku and Friends"), where Yamcha goes to Tien's dojo which, coincidentally, he brings Candy with him, and Launch happens to be there, Launch was confused at first, but then when Candy sneezed, her memory came back to her.
Launch eventually gave Candy the headband Launch used to wear during the events of OG Dragon Ball and Saiyan Saga in the Super Hero Saga.
Puar[]
Puar is the one who named Candy, and took her in when he found her in a basket, after winning a raffle with his prize being a bucket of candy shortly before he found Candy as a baby in a basket, he took care of her, though he was clueless and had a basic (or even beginner) level in babysitting, he just took care of her just well enough for Candy to be in good health when Yamcha went back home in the apartment after the Cell games.
Candy treats him like a pet and often pets him, when Candy got older, she would also use him as her main option of transportation when:
- She's in a hurry and/or feels like it.
- She goes to school but her mom is not available to pick her up (she'd usually text her dad to ask to have Puar pick her up)

Candy met Goten in kindergarten and the two have quickly understood each other on how they only have one present parent (in Candy's case, Launch leaving her in Yamcha's doormat and leaving, which Candy doesn't even know she has a living mom, in Goten's case, Goku sacrificing himself from Cell's planet-bursting explosion, at the cost of his own life, as well as the lives of King Kai and his companions, neither of them knew their missing parent completely, in Candy's case, she didn't even know she has a living mom), both at the time, only had one parent present (Yamcha for Candy, Chi-Chi for Goten)

Candy met Trunks when Yamcha awkwardly crossed paths with Bulma for the first time in a few years, despite

Fyler[]
Candy is at first, indifferent towards Fyler, however, Fyler would start to roast the hell out of her after finding out that she's the daughter of Yamcha, which made Candy very angry, since then, Candy would try to avoid her, but Fyler's persistance of being the "Pick Me" sometimes left Candy to become very angry (almost to the point of activating the Vex transformation/power boost).
Fighting Abilities[]
For someone who has Yamcha as her father, Candy is surprisingly competent, helping is the she inherits Launch's personality disorder.
She can get lazy at times for training but she actually has a consistent training schedule, unlike Goten and Trunks, who ended up getting grounded shortly before Goten's sudden growth spurt due to having one of their moves mistakened for vaping, Candy doesn't have the grounded restriction so she can actually train and she actually ended up catching up with them, especially when she started to have the Vex form, however, she is not near Goten or Trunks' level as Candy is an earthling/human while the the former two being hybrid Saiyans.
For purely hand-to-hand combat, she's very skilled at it.

- Dingo Sweep (created by her own) - Candy leaps, and performs a hurricane kick, shockwaves also gets produced from the attack, though said shockwaves are short-ranged and just exists to extend the radius.

Candy's power level, by the Super Hero Saga, can potentially reach 30 million if she's lucky when the Vex is activated (she may probably have 3,000,000 power level in base Bad Candy).
Vex[]
Vex is Candy's power-up form she recently got after getting into a fight with a bully who's a decendant of Taopaipai, Vex takes Launch's disorder than Candy inherited from, and turned it into a power boost, Vex doesn't need sneezing for it to trigger, but rather overwhelming anger, during this form, her personality changes instensifies now to the level of what her mom used to experience when her mom is a blonde.
Candy's hair turns scarlet when she's has Vex active, she's also the first person to unlock said form.
The power multiplier is random, on it's initial level, the power multiplier is a minimum of 2, and a maximum of 10, though it has the potential raise the maximum random level from 10 to 100.
Candy's Fate in other timelines[]
Timeline 2[]
"Candy"'s future counterpart was born earlier than her present counterpart, and she was named "Dinah" (a pun on Dinner or Diner) by Launch, because at the time of Dinah's birth, Yamcha was already dead (courtesy of the Androids), Launch managed to survive quite a surprisingly long time..., until she was unknowingly struck by Zamasu (who has not become Goku Black at the time), that Dinah barely avoided said attack, losing her right leg in the process, she was rescued in time, minus her right leg, Launch is among the first known victims Zamasu will murder in his spree of mortal destruction.
Dinah gets a replacement for her right leg (whether being replaced by a prosthetic or the lost right leg being restored outright is unclear) and she is sent to an earlier point of her timeline alongside Future Trunks and Future Mai.
Timeline 3[]
She was killed as a fetus when a pregnant Launch prematurely sneezed and tries to confront the androids, which lead to Launch losing her life pretty quickly in the androids' hands, and comes the unborn child along with her.
Timelines 4 and 5[]
Launch gives birth to Dinah, and, both of them survive.
In Universe 4, Dinah grows up in Launch's care.
In Universe 5, Dinah is sent to an orphanage after Launch gets arrested from a bank robbery after the cell games, after DNA tests that reveal Yamcha as the father of Dinah, she is put in his custody.

- her father, Yamcha, started to make it big in the baseball community (though not without his detractors as well), and has moved in a nicer, slightly larger apartment after he got his first big contract complete, while his hairstyle is mostly unchanged, he now gains the ponytail he has in the Peaceful World Arc (the one who made this page did not realize Yamcha got the ponytail at the end of Z and not GT).
- her mother, Launch, is running a food truck called "Lunch Express" like that filler scene in the Buu Saga, she now sports shorter hair, being a chic textured bob, Launch has been single ever since Yamcha broke up with her, she did stumble in Tien's dojo once more shortly after the Buu Saga, though Tien told her that he's already married to Sakana and has twins with her, Launch left two days later, she drops by from time to time, if Launch were to have the Vex transformation like her daughter, her power level can be speculated around 200-300 if the multiplier is lucky to give her x10 (yes i headcanon Bad Launch to have a power level of only 20-30 by Dragon Ball Super, Good Launch having only 10-15 in the same time).

- Candy was given the offer to have an alter-ego by (who would have guessed?) Goten and Trunks, but she rejected it because said alter-ego is "Saiba-gal", which Candy is already irritated being called "the daughter of the man that got bombed by a saibaman"
- She eventually comes up with her own "alter-ego", the "Desert Prowler", she wears a heavily modified version of her dad's desert bandit clothes, dyes her hair orange (even hides her her by tucking it in said outfit), and wearing shades and a cowboy hat.
- Candy currently attends Blue Hal High School much like Goten and Trunks, before that though, Candy just attends public schools due to Yamcha's then-small contracts.

- Timeline 2: some would survive until they get slaughtered by Zamasu, Bao would be the last paternal relative that Dinah has alive (Yamcha was the first to die by the androids, Zumain and Tong were killed by the androids sometime within their slaughter, while Congie died from an unrelated incident before Zamasu's rampage.), Bao was eventually killed sometime before Zamasu gets sealed.
- Timeline 3: Her paternal relatives are all killed within a short span, most of her maternal relatives survive.
