Her kidnapping and transformation by Red Ribbon
Bulma Briefs, more know as Android B-00 , is one of the most powerfull Red Ribbon army soldiers because used Capsule Corp tecnology resources to become stronger.
She's son of Dr. Briefs and Mrs. Briefs of Capsule Corp. Was captured and transformed by Red Ribbon in 751 while searching the Dragon Balls. Goku defetead her 2 years later in Red Ribbon Saga.
