Black Smoke Shenron is a character in Dragonball Xz. After the incidents of Dragon Ball GT, he possessed Trunks as he's taking the Dragon Balls to Dende to get them repaired. Because of this, he can be seen as the mastermind behind all of the dark TRUNKS Saga. Despite being a dark Counterpart to villains of the past, he is not possessing the dark FIVE. They are simply dark because of the wish made to Shenron.

This is the form Trunks takes when possessed by Black Smoke Shenron. This is the form he takes for almost all of the dark TRUNKS Saga.
Abilities[]
Shadow Ki: During the fight with Black Smoke Shenron in Dragonball Xz: Dark Smog, Black Smoke Shenron fires off energy attacks made of pure Shadow Ki. Despite not being a creature created from or made of pure shadow, Black Smoke Shenron can use Shadow Ki because he's a master of pure shadow.
Dark Copy: Despite having numerous Dark attacks and Dark transformations, this is the only ability dark TRUNKS has simply from being possessed by Black Smoke Shenron. Because the other moves were copied while he was in Trunks' body, it is unknown if he can use them outside of his body, so those can be considered as moves exclusive to that form.
