Ark Jr is the reincarnation and son of Ark , who appears in Dragon Ball SF, after his father's defeat in the hope to avenge him by defeating Goku in the 39th World Martial Arts Tournament. However this dream never occurs and Ark Jr is eventually trained by Gohan and becomes a Z Fighter in Dragon Ball GF.

After Ark's defeat and death, Ark Jr is born as the reincarnation and Son of Ark through his essence and remains hidden on the Earth until the 39th World Martial Arts Tournament.

8 years later, Ark Jr appears in the 39 World Martial Art Tournament and tries to avenge his father's defeat against Goku, but he is unsuccessful and Goku manages to defeat in the final match of the World Martial Arts Tournament. Goku volunteers to train Ark Jr, but he is forced to abandon this after he and Vegeta leaves with Bills and goes back to the World of Grand Masters for more training under Whis. Ark Jr is then taken in by Gohan for training instead.

Planet Trade Order Saga Through Xicor Saga:[]
7 years later in Dragon Ball GF, Gohan and Ark Jr have now finished their training and fight against one another in a sparring match in the World of Eternal Dragons. Soon afterwards thgey return to Earth, and Ark Jr wanders the Earth and continues his training completely changed not wanting to avenge his father's death any longer, but to continue to grow in strength instead.
During the Xicor Saga, Ark Jr. appears and fight along with the Z Fighters against Xicor and is no match for him. He later undergoes a transformation into Super Ark Jr, but is still unsuccessful in defeating Xicor.
