The Arce-Albumians (pronounced /ɑːrke ɑːl'buːmiːən/) are a sentient species native to the planet Arce Album. Currently, almost the entire population is under the rule of Nitro. Notable Arce-Albumians include Fassfu and Kaesh.
Physiology[]
Appearance[]
The Arce-Albumians look very much like humans, with the only major aesthetic difference of having red-colored skin. Hair and eye colors can often vary, although the most common hair color is black. The average Arce-Albumian height is also slightly above that of humans', with many females standing almost as tall as human males.
Aging, Lifespan, and Growth[]
An Arce-Albumian ages at about the same rate as a human, although on average, an Arce-Albumian will live up to 140 years old. Like Saiyans, Arce-Albumians stay in their prime significantly longer than humans do and do not show any signs of substantial aging until they reach about 70 years of age.
Reproduction[]
Falling under the Homo genus and being very much like humans, Arce-Albumians reproduce in the same way humans do. In theory, they are also able to reproduce with humans and Saiyans, although no such hybrids are yet known to exist.
Power Level and Abilities[]
Arce-Albumians possess immense strength, speed, durability, and reaction times. An individual Arce-Albumian's power level, however, is heavily influenced by the spectral type of the star in his/her presence. An Arce-Albumian can only utilize his/her full strength when in the presence of a blue star, while when near only a red star or no star at all, his/her power is significantly reduced to a minuscule percentage of his/her maximum.
Like other species of immense power, Arce-Albumians' eyes are adapted to be able to see natural color and shapes when interpreting objects travelling exceedingly quickly; functions in the brain account for length contraction, blueshifting, and redshifting and correct objects to enable the Arce-Albumian to visualize them travelling at relativistic speeds as if they were stationary.
Society and Culture[]
Even since before being annexed into the Planet Trade Organization, the Arce-Albumians already possessed technology comparable to the empire they joined. However, they originally did not possess superluminal-capable vehicles, preventing them from expanding far beyond their homeworld.
History[]
Not long after being granted his own section of the Planet Trade Organization, Nitro invaded Arce Album, the home planet of the Arce-Albumians. The natives proved to be strong enough to push Nitro into his true form but were ultimately no match for the royal Arcosian. When it was clear that Nitro would wipe them out to extinction if the war continued, the Arce-Albumians surrendered, and their planet was renamed Planet Nitro 009.
