Origins of Maiz[]
The saga opens with a brief introduction to the Saiyan Maiz. As a child, he and his parents were exiled from Planet Vegeta for reasons of treason. Landing and making their home on Planet Revan, Maiz learned Ki control from his mother, Kalia, and fighting from his father, Mash. Eventually, Frieza destroyed the homeworld of the Saiyans, and Maiz was left to die.
Barely escaping, Maiz crash landed on the Planet Namek, nearly dying and losing parts of his memory. He trains with the Nameks, hoping to become strong enough to defeat Frieza. However, there are some Namekians who view Maiz as a threat to their position as favored of the Grand Elder Moori.
Maiz will soon have to prove his worth to the Namekians, and be sent on his Right of Passage, a ritual indicating he is an adult. Can he succeed against his rivals, and successfully make the journey? Find out next!
