History[]
Origin[]
In Dr. Gero's quest for revenge against Son Goku, he utilized a human test subject for the 13th of his artificial humans. The process was a success, turning the man into Android 13, but he remained deactivated for years. Upon the completion of Androids 17 and 18, whose technology and power far surpassed 13, he was set to be destroyed by Gero.
Changed Fate[]
Instead of being destroyed at the hands of Dr. Gero as designated by history, Android 13 was retrieved by Towa alongside fellow Androids 14 and 15, leaving behind decoys to take their places. He and the other two Androids awoke, learning of what their predetermined fate was to be, and, while grateful, burned with the need to accomplish their programmed mission of eliminating Son Goku. Towa, the woman who saved them, offered to arrange the opportunity, but first, she required them to fulfill one task: eliminate his offspring Son Gohan.
On Mission[]
Android 13 was transported alongside 14 and 15 to a desolated Earth, which was originally from the main timeline. There, he searched for his target, eventually encountering this world's Gohan, whom had one arm. 13 conversed with him about how Dr. Gero was responsible for what became of this Earth, with 13 believing it to be proof of what free will leads to.
In spite of Gohan's plea that his father had been dead for years and that 13 had nothing left to accomplish, the Android found the idea of killing the son of Goku good enough for him. As Gohan charged at him, 13 gestured, then stood back and watched as Androids 14 and 15 battled his target for him.
Abilities[]
In spite of being considered inferior to Androids 17 and 18 by his creator Dr. Gero, 13 is still incredibly powerful in his own right, being capable of holding his own against the likes of a Super Saiyan. Even when facing Future Gohan without 14 and 15 at his side, he proved more than a match for the son of Goku.
Transformation[]
Super Android 13: upon the defeats of his comrades Androids 14 and 15, he takes on their computer chips and power sources, then undergoes a physical change and a massive increase in power. As Super Android 13, he proved incapable of being stopped by both Future Gohan and Pan, even with the two in Super Saiyan.

Trivia[]
