Android 11 (人造人間じんぞうにんげん11ごう, Jinzōningen Jū Ichi-Gō) is an android created by Dr. Gero. He was completed in Age 754. He is a mechanical android, meaning he has no human cells in his body. 11 is an infinite energy type android. 11 and 12 were captured by Earth's Military in Age 756 after being contained by an EMP blast. This caused the androids to deactivate. Shortly afterwards, Cardinal paid Hasky to steal the androids back for him, although he was unable to reactivate them.

Overview[]

Appearance[]

Dr. Gero created Android 11 as a fair-skinned android with features so realistic that it was impossible to tell that he wasn't a real person. Despite giving Android 11 the appearance of a boy roughly 14 or 15 years old, he crafted him to be over six feet tall. He gave Android 11 blond hair and blue eyes and a sleek figure. Like with many previous models, Gero made #11 an infinite energy type android; thus, all of his offensive weaponry came from energy ports on his hands, mouth, and eyes. Gero gave #11 a green and black outfit with heavy white gloves and black shoes. On the back of his shirt was the number eleven (though one of the 1s had been chipped away over time) and a logo for the Red Ribbon Army.

Personality[]

Gero's creation of Android 11's AI produced an android with a quiet personality. He has a cool, arrogant personality, and is very aggressive in battle, preferring to use physical attacks over energy attacks against his foes. His programming gives him unparalleled skill in various forms of martial arts, and his personal training in those forms during his personal time allowed him to become even more skilled using them. As such, Android 11 developed a technically-flawless form. Gero programmed his AI to be more introverted, but he is still rather talkative with people he likes, particularly his sister, Android 12, and Dr. Gero.

Gero also programmed Android 11 to be very loyal so that he wouldn't have another Android 10 on his hands. Gero mentioned that though Android 11 was very aggressive in battle, he was meek and polite outside of battle, leading the doctor to think that was a defect in his AI. He programmed Android 11 to have updating mechanisms that would allow him to grow stronger over time. His processors could become more efficient over time, and his energy supply system could also be upgraded, should Goku grow stronger, too. Gero was confident that #11 could take on Goku at his strength in this chapter, though. Gero praised #11's AI as being one of the most advanced ever produced; this was part of the reason why he seemed so human-like. Additionally, #11 gave himself the name "Manuel", showing how he saw himself as a human, due to Gero's programming. Gero scoffed at such a notion and refused to call his android anything but #11.

History[]

The Perfect Lifeform[]

Dr. Gero stated that he had planned on creating Androids 10, 11, and 12 all at the same time. He completed Android 10 long before #11 and #12, though, for he was unable to work on all three at once (he was only one doctor, after all). Later, as Dr. Gero was putting the finishing touches on Androids 11 and 12, General Lavender, his legion, and Android 10 all stormed Dr. Gero's laboratory and demanded that the good doctor step down. Gero refused and released the almost-complete Androids 11 and 12 to protect himself. They did so. Both of them destroyed General Lavender's army together. Android 12 dueled with and beat Android 10. Once she beat Android 10, she offered him no mercy and decapitated him, and then destroyed his head. With Android 10's memory chip destroyed, the android was no more. After that occurred, Android 11 captured and executed General Lavender personally for his failed rebellion.

Afterwards, Androids 11 and 12 were deployed around the world to look for Goku. They often returned to Gero and socialized with his soldiers, but never found Goku. He eventually split them up so that they could cover twice as much ground. Despite the two not wanting to be split up, they listened to Gero's orders. Android 11 was put with General Bronze's legion and became somewhat of a legend during his stay with that army. #11 destroyed various rival gangs effortlessly and even killed all members of a detachment of Earth's Defense Force. Still, he never found Goku.

When General Bronze, Android 11, and General Bronze's legion tried to perform a bank heist (to provide Gero with more money with which to make future androids), they were attacked by King Furry's Earth Defense Force. Some of Bronze's legion took human pedestrians as meat shields during the battle that ensued, and a few of those pedestrians were killed in the crossfire. The Earth's Defense Force greatly outnumbered Bronze's legion, and after a long, bloody battle, the Defense Force prevailed. Only General Bronze and Android 11 survived the battle on the Red Ribbon Army Remnant's side, and when they tried to shoot their way out of the bank, the Defense Force killed General Bronze with a bullet to the head.

Dr. Gero watched all of this with dismay from his secret mountain base, being powerless to influence the battle in any way. Eventually, Android 11 made his way to Copper's legion, under Gero's orders, and helped Android 12 defeat the Red Dragon Brotherhood, an old rival gang of the Red Ribbon Army that had ambushed Copper's legion during their search for Goku. The two androids easily cut a swath through the Red Dragons, killing all of them and destroying the notorious gang once and for all.

However, the Earth's Defense Force pursued #11 to that location, and once they arrived, a great battle broke out between them and Copper's legion. In the ensuing battle, all of Copper's soldiers were either killed or taken hostage, and near the end of it, he himself was taken hostage. This left only Androids 11 and 12 to fight off Earth's Defense Force. But there were just too many enemies.

Eventually, the two fell when they were hit by an EMP burst, briefly paralyzing the two androids and allowing the Defense Force to take them captive. Though Dr. Gero tried to remotely detonate both Androids, this proved unsuccessful, as the EMP blast left them unresponsive to his remote controller. Dr. Gero did not know this however, and thought that Androids 11 and 12 had been destroyed. He saw their inability to defeat the Earth's Defense Force as a power failure, and resolved to create a more powerful android in the future.

Killing General Copper[]

In the first scene of this story, Cardinal visited Hasky in the Central City prison. He offered to give Hasky her freedom if she completed a mission for him. He told her that eight days prior, the Red Ribbon Army Remnant had showed themselves to the world. They had begun pillaging and plundering, killing anyone they had come into contact with until they had arrived at South City. There, Earth's military had engaged them and had completely obliterated them. Only General Copper and Androids 11 and 12 had been taken prisoner. Hasky's mission was to break General Copper out of prison and to recover Androids 11 and 12 from the military. Once she had acquired the three, she was to bring them to Bonetown. As Cardinal, Hasky, and Proprananik walked to the helicopter waiting for them, the old man thought to himself that the androids would be a much-needed boost to the New Red Ribbon Army, especially if the defects of Android 8 had been rectified in their models. Cardinal knew that only Dr. Gero and Dr. Flappe had worked on androids in the RRA, so one of them had to have been responsible for 11 and 12.

In the second scene, Proprananik flew Hasky down to the southern continent. He told her the plan: she was to infiltrate the military legion that had dealt with the Red Ribbon Remnant and seduce Colonel Gechiren in order to get the capsules holding Androids 11 and 12 from the man. Proprananik gave her an empty capsule in each color so that she could replace the ones she was going to steal. The man also warned her that if they couldn't secure Copper or the androids, they needed to destroy the three so that none would fall into the hands of Furry or his interrogators. Later, when Hasky met with Colonel Gechiren, the man boasted about defeating the Red Ribbon Army. Hasky brought up the androids. Gechiren thought they had been pitiful fighters to be subdued merely by EMP blasts. She asked him what had happened to the androids, wondering if they had been sent to Furry's scientists. The colonel told her they had not been sent there yet, for General Kiwadate still had them. He thought that Kiwadate would be shipping them to Furry soon, but did not know for certain. Eventually, Hasky found the androids in a lockbox in Kiwadate's tent. They were labeled in capsules alongside a capsule containing a broken radar. The thief took all three.

In the fourth scene, Cardinal asked Copper how Gero was doing. The general informed him that Gero was still working on his androids. Once they were perfected, Gero's plan was to use them to kill Goku. Hasky butted in, asking Copper if he was referring to Androids 11 and 12. She threw their capsules to the ground, and seconds later, the two unconscious androids appeared before the group. Copper was surprised that Hasky had managed to snag them, though Cardinal informed the man that she was the greatest thief in the world.

In the sixth scene, Dr. Gero requested General Copper to tell him what happened to his legion and Androids 11 and 12 after his remote camera feed of their battle against Earth's military had cut out. Copper confirmed that everyone had been killed by the military (he made no mention of Teal) except for the androids and himself. Gero was surprised to learn of that, for he had activated the androids' self-destruct sequences when they had been overrun by the military. Copper told him about the EMP blast that had deactivated the pair and speculated that that had been the reason the command had not been received.

Silver told Gero that they had paid Hasky to acquire the stolen androids, promising to have them back in two or three days. Gero demanded that they be returned to him. Silver requested that one of them be left in the New Red Ribbon Army's possession for security purposes. When the doctor scoffed at that notion, Proprananik butted in, stating that they had gone through a lot of trouble to get the androids and Copper back and that Gero should view their actions as a gesture of good will. Gero refused to give either Android 11 or 12 to Cardinal's team, for neither android had been completed when they had been captured. He was not sure that they would remain loyal if they were removed from his care. For that reason, he decided to create a new android - Android 14 - for Cardinal to use. Later, Gero admitted to Silver's crew that he had located Goku, but he was unwilling to send any androids, such as 11 and 12, to the boy's location until he had corrected their weaknesses.

Proprananik asked the doctor about Android 13. Gero confirmed that 13 was operational and was, at present, running an errand for him. However, he was unsure of 13's power. He wanted to test his capabilities against Androids 11 and 12 before sending the trio to Goku's location.

In the seventh scene, Cardinal had a phone call with Eigan, the leader of the Morizakura-gumi. In it, he told the man that he was sending Androids 11 and 12 to Seikishi City, where the Morizakura-gumi were located. He was also sending several of his associates with them in order to monitor the yakuza's attempt to reboot the androids. Later, Silver begged Cardinal to kill Gero. He promised to do so only after Androids 11 and 12 were re-activated, as Gero possessed androids of his own. Near the end of the story, Cardinal wondered to himself if he would be able to re-activate the androids. If not, he would kill Gero by other means.
