Gohan and Goku had left the Son residence to go back to training. At the Supreme Kais' planet, Gohan kept training as a Super Saiyan 3.
"I don't believe it!", Supreme Kai said. "Your power level is actually stronger that Beerus's! I guess the Super Saiyan transformation is less stronger than I thought! You definitely will defeat any enemy that stands in your way."
"It's not enough", Gohan said while downgrading back to his base form. After a huh by Supreme Kai, Gohan said "If I am supposed to protect the Earth, I need to go to my limits as hard as I can. I need another way to train." Supreme Kai and Elder Kai looked at each other in surprise.
