A Short-Lived Dream is a one-shot collection authored by KidVegeta. This one-shot collection is written as a sort of "DLC" expansion of all of KidVegeta's previous story collections:
- Dragon Ball: Legacies
- The Brady Patrick Collection
- The Black and White Collection
- Things Were Better Then
- The Heels of the Unknown
- Baby You're a Rich Man
All of these stories are considered to be canon to KidVegeta's universe, except for "Untouchable" and the last two, under the heading "Beautiful People".
