The 1st Regression is a form a Changeling can take to supress their power and allow for more control over their raw destructive power. Despite being commonly called the "third" form, it is actually the first stage away from their base form. As such, their power is only partially restrained, causing their body to be more wild and monsterous to accomidate it.
